We quickly ordered drinks and I ordered a Moscow mule (my go to). It was in a copper mug and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered a beer, which he enjoyed too. We ordered some oysters and corn ribs for an appetizer. I had never had corn ribs before and was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I split the fish and chips and I'm really glad we did. The fish was extremely large and almost filled the plate. It was crispy and delicious. It was definitely well made. The sauce on the side was even better, too. Highly recommend this place for a quick bite and a pint.

My friend had a pesto with burrata and she said it was awesome. They also have gluten-free pizza, whihc is good to know. Our table neighbor had the pork chop, which also looked great. They have a small parking lot, which would fill up quickly. We went on a very "off" time, so we were able to park in that lot. Otherwise, you'd need to find street parking.

In a world where customer service is disappearing, that says everything you need to know about Publick House. I've been coming here for years, and the people have always been friendly and welcoming. It's my favorite spot in Brookline to grab a drink, catch up with friends, and, for whatever reason, I seem to have a pretty good track record of sealing the deal here. Five stars. Easy.

They also told us Sundays are trivia night! Stormalong Ciders on draft were what we got, they were crisp and hit the spot. Their kitchen closed not too long after we sat down so I put an order in of their homemade potato chips served with sour cream and onion dip. The chips were nice and crunchy, I wish the dip was a little bigger but it was still really good. Their other food looked good as well as their craft cocktails. It was a nice evening and we'd like to come back for trivia. Apparently it gets really busy for trivia so you have to come early.
