Found OCK for lunch thanks to Yelp a couple years ago. I've been here a few times since, and what a charming little local breakfast/lunch spot! It's just off 65/31, so conveniently located in Jeffersonville very close to the riverfront and Falls of the Ohio park. When you walk in, you'll see the counter where you order/pay. Take a seat with your number; your food is delivered when ready. There's plenty of seating here with the adjacent suite (called the Copper Room) offering another full room of booths and tables. The decor is modern with the orange painted chairs, but historic and fun with the exposed brick. I love that they also display local art for sale on the walls! I waited a very short time this visit for my salmon nicoise salad. It was well-plated in an orange bowl (do you get the theme?) and the salmon, potatoes and egg was cooked perfectly. The vinaigrette dressing was the perfect complement to this delicious and hearty salad. The first time I was here, I had an egg dish for breakfast which was equally delicious, as well as the coffee. The employees here are always friendly and accommodating. I've found my new Jeff go to when in town for work!

The Orange Clover Kitchen catering company is fantastic! Rachel is the owner and she was so helpful. All the staff is so nice. We had a Christmas party and when other companies we got quotes from for the catering felt skimpy and high priced, Rachel assured us there would be plenty of food and that definitely was the case. A lot of leftovers to give away to the party goers as they left for the night. Oh, even the desserts were so good. The cake pops were a hit! Worth the drive to Jeffersonville for the cute little restaurant they have as well. I love the BLT sandwich with potato salad and the chicken salad sandwich was good too.

Friday night looking to make a dinner reservation Saw Orange Clover was open so I booked for 6:00 p.m. Upon arrival I was surprised to hear they were doing a seven course meal in celebration of Valentines Day. Wow..underdressed and hungry I was eager to try the fabulous food listed on the menu. The restaurant ambiance was very pleasing as was the greet at the door and table I will say this surprise dinner was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I took lots of pics describing each dish, enjoy. The food was as good as it appears. I was given their daily menu as I was leaving. It appears they are a lunch and breakfast eatery! The salads sound great as do the soups. I feel privileged to have been a guest for a special evening service. I like the layout too! If you have not tried Orange Clover you are missing outstanding food!

Some of you are aware of my obsession with Orange Clover in Jeffersonville. You GUYS!!!! I know you already love them for their lunch, catering, and amazing grits. But you don't REALLLLY know them, until you've let Rachel and her crew create a private event for you in the Copper Room next door to the restaurant. This is the third tasting menu of hers I have had, and I will ALWAYS go back to them for special events. They focus on local and seasonal foods and provide impeccable and personable service. Bravo Rachel and team.

We used Orange Clover to cater our wedding and they provided a delicious taco bar. Many of our guests told us how delicious the food was and my husband had seconds! Rachel was wonderful to work with and the attention to detail she gives is unmatched. She and her crew were very professional, made sure there was plenty of food, cut our wedding cake, and cleaned up. She ordered flowers from a local florist to decorate her tables to match our wedding decor. We are so happy Orange Clover catered our wedding!

A cup of loaded baked potato soup. Along with half of a grilled portobello mushroom sandwich .

I have eaten here a couple of times. Great place for soup, sandwiches and salads. Don't get to eat here often as they are only open for breakfast and lunch Mon-Fri. The hours that I typically work. I work as a teacher. So when I'm off on a break, and in the Jeffersonville area. You order at a counter and are given a number. They bring your food to you. I really like the fact that they use cloth napkins and real silverware as well.

Stopped in for a quick lunch before heading back to Indy. You order off the menu on the wall, place your order, pay, then find a spot to sit and they bring out your food. They had a variety of soups. I wanted something healthy so I got a tuna croissant. The place looked like a deli with limited seating but they have a joined area called THE COPPER ROOM which seats larger parties and has tablecloth covered tables.

Really loved the strawberry salad and ham panini. So much so that I walked from Kentucky for the same meal... twice! Across a whole bridge.

Had the best fries in town and took them off the menu...Employee stated everyone asks about them. Why do restaurants do such stupid things?

This shop taught me that an iced lavender latte can be divine, and I indulged in one this weekend. Still delicious! I do wish they offered larger drink sizes. Their largest option is a medium compared to other shops. Parking can be tricky. It's a small parking lot so you'll likely have to maneuver parking on the side streets.

I asked my friend to come here since it was on the way to another destination. It is definitely a unique little building. The inside was rather quite interesting, one side is the coffee/bakery/market side. The other has inside seating. We definitely looked around and at the menu to decide what we wanted. They have a cooler in the middle of the store for drinks. Since we were in a hurry (to get to our destination) my friend got a bottled glass coke and I got bottled glass Fanta. The employee behind the counter was quite interactive and was interested in knowing what prizes we got after getting the stamps on the passport. I wish we weren't in a hurry otherwise, would love to have sat down and enjoy an iced coffee and maybe a bakery treat. There's always next time.

Our waitstaff were all friendly and the general manager also visited our table to provide some historical information about the business and building. Excellent experience! My top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality and I came here two Fridays ago ahead of a bourbon tour (thinking, correctly, that we should probably have a hearty meal beforehand so we didn't end up face-first in a gutter somewhere). Several Kentucky natives told us that we had to try a Hot Brown during our visit, and since it was literally created at the Brown Hotel, this seemed like the logical spot. The actual Hotel has some gorgeous interiors, especially upstairs in the lobby. We didn't see that area until after our meal, so when we laid eyes on the Lobby Bar & Grill, we knew immediately that that was where we SHOULD have gone for this Hot Brown dish. J. Graham's, I'm sorry to say, doesn't have the history and personality of the rest of the building and just looks like a generic breakfast spot you'd find in any hotel. It probably exists solely because the other dining options in the hotel aren't open until later and they want to give tourists and their own customers a place to eat at all times of the day, which isn't a terrible reason in my book. But it's also unfortunately not very good, and the dirty walls and overall meh appearance of the establishment just make it very clear that the hey day for this hotel overall was decades ago. The service was the biggest miss here. Our waitress was scatterbrained, often not around or around but hanging out with co-workers or talking up other customers. It was honestly pretty mystifying because when she DID come by, she was often overly apologetic and trying to make amends. But the best way to make amends is not to have to keep doing that throughout the meal. She forgot my friend's coffee (didn't write anything down when we ordered, which is fine if you remember everything but...) and when my chum asked what was in the hummus (one of just three apps), she didn't know and had to go ask someone in the kitchen. That's arguably a nitpick and she DID try to figure it out, but the lunch menu is pretty small and it was a little odd that her menu knowledge was that limited. The bigger problem was that we were in there for over half an hour longer than we wanted to be because she wouldn't come by our table. I actually actively looked for her on the way to the bathroom so I could remind her to come to our table, but instead found her off to the side gossiping with other staff. Not a good look at all. So this might have been an overall positive experience if some of the hospitality from the hotel had spilled over here. We actually both enjoyed the apps, which were the only real positives of the experience. The Bourbon Barrel Fries and the Two Timer, featuring Smoked Bourbon Hummus (bourbon tends to be the theme of your days in this town, I've found) were both really good, and I probably ate more of those than the actual entree. The fries were cooked perfectly and were well seasoned/addictive. The Hot Brown was fine for what it was (we split it to try). It's basically a dramatic turkey melt, with slices of turkey coated in cheese and other sauces. It also came with strips of bacon on top, which on a personal palate level I didn't think really helped the dish so I barely nibbled on those. It's definitely a solid entry but it wasn't mind-blowing for either of us. Maybe it's just from where we come from in the Northeast, but I'm conditioned to like my turkey with accompanying stuffing, and usually in the latter part of November. I think it felt kind of weird to be eating turkey with warm cheese. But I'm glad we tried it and got the context at least. You might have a completely different experience with better service, but I'd still recommend going upstairs for any dining. It's a much better atmosphere and you can really appreciate where this hotel fits in the chronology of Louisville. You're not going to get that from going here.
