    This burrito was FIRE!!!!!
    Alexis M.

This was my first time dining here but certainly won't be my last. It was so much food everyone in my party took home a carry out! Great service, very polite and knowledgeable staff. The burrito I had was delicious I can't wait to try it again!!

This is my favorite Grand Azteca out of all the restaurants. It's always a wonderful experience. There is complimentary chips and salsa, colorful decor, friendly staff, and an extensive menu. Their dishes are always served fast and hot. The portions are huge. You'll never leave hungry! I usually order the corn tacos. They are delicious! And, the salsa verde is top notch here! I dare say a must try! If you are looking for authentic Mexican food look no further!

Nothing like a happy hour margarita with some chips and salsa after a long day ! Nice waitstaff and love the artwork throughout the restaurant!

Decent Mexican chain. Got chori pollo, a popular chicken dish on their menu. Includes rice and refried beans. I substituted tortilla with salad. The highlight of this place is its decent Mexican food coupled with generous portions. It is operated and run by people of Mexican decent - servers, managers, etc. Menu is expansive with multiple categories- fajitas, platters, burritos, enchiladas, salads, etc - and within each there are recommendations that are highlighted. Price was upwards 15$-$20 but again portions are generous. Many servers were of Mexican descent, some with little English fluency. It was a bit hard to communicate. Ambiance was nothing fancy, Mexican decor, exactly how you would expect. Come if hungry or if wanting leftovers.

I stopped here last Friday night with my husband. Food and service were great. Classic Mexican restaurant, they give you chips and salsa when you sit down, they used to have a white ranch like sauce also which you can still ask for. They've updated their menu, to include birria tacos and some other fun options. I ordered the red queso tacos with carnitas and they were delicious.

Chips & salsa (light hint of spice) given while overlooking the menu. The salsa was so good, i ate half my plate then finished off the chips & salsa! My waiter was was nice & attentative. He gave me just enough time to look at the menu & decide. There is A LOT on the menu. He said a couple spanish phrases which i understood because i understand basic Spanish. I fear for him coming across an ignorant "this is America. Speak english!" type of person. The staff speak Spanish to one another. After I was given my bill, he took the order of the table behind me & didn't speak spanish to them so maybe he just thought i understood. My food came out SUPER fast. I went to the restroom. Came back. Ate a chip & my plate was placed in front of me. Unfortunately, he set the bill down w/o me asking. I was debating sopapillas bc i'd never had that.

Fajitas (chicken and steak) were delicious! Best I've had in a long time, also no skimping on the chicken and beef. Service was also very good. The happy hour margarita was okay, not much taste and kind of watery. Definitely will be back!

Happy cinco de mayo!!!! Super busy and served super fast! This family owned restaurant really knows what they're doing and how to handle fast paced dining! The aroma inside is AMAZING I cannot believe I've never discovered this place until cinco de mayo I feel embarrassed lol! Now THE FOOD oh my days YALL. THE FOOD IS AMAZING. LITERALLY THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. THIS IS THE DEFINITION ON TRADITIONAL FOOD. The green verde sauce was so tasty and it had the kick to it where it made my eyes water and mouth burn but it was so good I was scarfing it down with no complaints. We had a table of 5 right before closing and they still served us and gave us the freshest tasting everything! My experience here was out of this world. Everyone was so friendly and I have nothing bad to say about the whole thing. The only thing I would say is odd is the one bathroom stall in the womans restroom lol. IT WAS CLEAN but we were all waiting frantically to use the pot. BUT THATS NOT A REASON NOT GO. YALL NEED TO GO HERE AND TRY THEIR FOOD! The pricing is unbeatable and the extra cilantro had us all cracking up boy had a grass taco

I have been here a couple times and its always a wonderful experience. Complimentary chips and salsa, friendly waiters, authentic Mexican decor and an extensive menu. They have so many kinds of drinks, including a full bar. Plus, any kind of Mexican food you want, you can get! I usually get the shrimp quesadilla, which has cheese, shrimp, and caramelized onion inside and sour cream, guacamole, tomatoes and lettuce on the side. It's always served piping hot and it's a decent serving. I never leave hungry. My boyfriend always gets the "Burrito Azteca" which has basically every kind of meat stuffed in a burrito topped with more meat and pineapple. He has been asking to go back every day since. It's been 2 weeks and he's asked for this burrito every day and he constantly sends me pictures of it. He's obsessed. It's a wonderful place with plenty of options. You can't leave hungry. Plus, if you're into meat go for the super-meat-burrito-extravaganza!

They give you a number, you pay, and you walk up the stairs into the little restaurant that is in the back. Nice and clean as well as enough space to feel comfortable. The food was authentic and delicious, I ordered two items thinking that I'm a pretty big eater, I would probably need it. I was wrong. I got the small quesadilla, and I got the huaracha. Ordered Puebla, tinga style pizza, chicken fajitas, guacamole, tostada with chicken tinga. $53.47 Chips and salsa is out. Chips aren't great at all, almost taste stale even. House salsa has some heat. At least I won't eat too many corn chips, since they aren't so good here. They have a red and green salsa in a bottle, but not enough for the seated tables. Service is subpar for sure, need more help. Drinks are long empty. My husband wants more chips and salsa, takes a while to get anything and get attention too. Food takes about 17 minutes to come out. The corn tortilla isn't very good. Ate a couple of small bites of the Puebla, not for me. Doesn't have that fresh chewiness. The Tinga meat is okay. The tostada is crispy, but overall is was just okay. The pizza is different and definitely on a flat bread. It's okay. The mole, tinga and pickled onion doesn't do it for me. The guacamole is so-so, average as far as taste. The bottle of red salsa is spicier. The bottle of green salsa is an avocado base. Both mixed with the house salsa in the ramekin together aren't too bad. Food was quite average, didn't feel compelled to stuff myself, so that's a positive. Get the staff some help! No one should have to wait for a table here or more than 5-10 minutes for their food either.

I've…read morebeen coming here for over five years, and at this point, it is one of the only places I'll go when I want tacos because everything else tends to leave me wondering why I didn't just come here in the first place. The tacos are every bit as good as people say and the environment is clean and relaxed, they usually have some good music playing too. Authentic, flavorful, consistent, and made with care. But the birria is the real star for me. Hands down, it is the best birria I've had anywhere in Metro Detroit. Rich, tender, packed with flavor, and exactly the kind of thing you think about again later like it owes you money. The owner is also genuinely one of the sweetest people. He remembered my order after only a few visits, and that kind of personal touch makes the place feel even more special. I usually stick with my Mexican Coke, but I love that they have their liquor license now, because a margarita or Corona with the food is a very solid upgrade. I've brought a bunch of people here and sent a whole handful of others, and everyone has said the same thing. It is some of the best Mexican food they've ever had. One of my friends even said it was better than what he had in California and Mexico, which is a bold statement, but Que Pasa can handle bold statements. Que Pasa is not just good for the area, it is the standard I compare everyone else to. Which is probably unfair to everyone else, but here we are.

We love Oaxaca (Troy), but thought we'd try out Que Pasa as well, while we were in the area. Oaxaca…read morereigns as local best in our opinion! Things that worked at Que Pasa: the margaritas were excellent, and all the food we tried (tortas, tacos, burritos, quesadillas) were very good too. Things that need work: there was definitely a language barrier ordering and requesting that they bill our three families separately. They were using a handheld machine for orders and it took three times going over our order before it was finally put in correctly. Although we asked for bills separated, we wound up with one bill, which was too tricky to split up the way they had entered everything, so we paid for everything and had to figure out $ later. Not a major deal, just a nuisance. Also, no AC and the seating was the type of wood that needs shellacking since the shine has worn off and it's sticky. You leave feeling sweaty and sticky, and that's not the way you want to feel on a hot day.

I've read reviews complaining about how this isn't Authentic Mexican Food. Do you know what I care…read moreabout when I go to a restaurant? I care if the food is good. If I want authentic Mexican food, I'll go to Mexican Town. Camellia's has good food, and I was happy I stopped here to eat. First, I'll start with maybe the most inauthentic item first. The chorizo and ground beef "sliders" were actually 2 burgers in regular-sized buns. Each had maybe 3 ounces of meat, and they were good, Not "I can feel the breeze off the beach in Cancun" good, but it was good with a smear of pretty authentic-tasting guacamole. We ordered chips with guacamole as a starter, and these seem to be pretty darned authentic chips. They were sturdy, with a terrific corn flavor, and a nice crunch to them. Definitely not Tostitos. The large amount of not-authentic-Mexican fries served with the "sliders" were excellent skin-on shoestring fries. My wife ordered chicken and steak fajitas. She didn't like the steak, saying it was too chewy. I have to say, it was maybe a tough cut of steak, and it was a bit overly salty, but I liked the flavor. The chicken was good, with a bit less seasoning. The rest consisted of all the things you expect in fajitas, and all of it was solid. I liked the drink selection. There were actually more Mexican beers here than I have ever seen in Mexican Town. Negra Modelo on tap? I wish I were able to get that when I go downtown, but I'm glad I was able to get a large glass for a reasonable price here. There were a lot of different flavors of margaritas. My wife loved the peach margarita she ordered. There were two waitresses, and a mostly full house, and they were able to keep up with the demand. The price was reasonable for the large portions of food, too. I'm not giving up on the delicious food in Mexican town, but I definitely wouldn't mind coming back here again for something less authentic, but still tasty.

My partner ordered a full meal. The server did not tell me that there would be an EXTRA charge of $2.99 to make my a la carte burrito a veggie one (a chicken or beef one would be $3.99). What a surprise when getting the bill. And all the veggie burrito consisted of was onions, green peppers, tomatoes and lettuce. Why would this cost extra? Ridiculous. Between surprises like this and having to pay for chips and salsa, it's a wonder this place stays in business. It's a shame as the food is good.
