This place has been here forever and it's a solid Chinese buffet. Don't come expecting fine dining - the booths are a bit dated as well as the decor, but the food is on point. It's always refreshed, they have sushi and hibachi options also. I particularly enjoy the frog legs and peanut chicken. Waitress is always friendly and keeps your drinks full. Not a better deal in Pace for under $15 a plate (kids are less based on age). Plenty of desserts to chose from including ice cream.

Overall pretty disappointing. Not the best selection and food didn't taste fresh. Hot water was not consistently running over the ice cream scoop which bothered me a little... Sushi, Rice, and chicken was decent. Tried to up charge us for a kid's buffet... $9.99 for adult which is pretty good.

We were grateful they were open on Christmas. Buffet was two was just under $20. The food was what you paid for. The fried rice was bland, but edible. The items from the buffet I enjoyed were the sweet and sour chicken, without the sauce. It looked dark and dried out, but it was good. The house chicken was good, but there was barely any in the pan; it was never restocked while we were there. The spring rolls were ok. The ice cream was very yummy. Didn't try the sushi, it looked sketchy. The service was very friendly. Restaurant was dark and table wobbled. Again, it was less then $20 for two people. Don't know that we will come back, but we ate on Christmas and I don't have to cook.

Decided to have some Chinese buffet for dinner. This place did not disappoint. Plenty of variety and everything had good flavor. Good selection on desserts also.

Beef looked like hard jerky. And the chicken next to it was just sad looking.

Great place to eat. Fresh and very clean. Habachi is awesome. And the service was fantastic. We will more than likely eat here again.

New Yorker here. First thing to know is that my mother (Brooklyn native) and I had an unbelievably,…read morealmost comically terrible Chinese dinner from Nim's Garden (which is also in Milton). I guess I should have known we were in trouble there, since there doesn't seem to be anyone of Chinese origin that works there. The egg drop soup was clear, gelatinous, and bland, the chow mein ... didn't look or taste like chow mein, and my shrimp & veg dish in white sauce was bland. We needed revenge, so we tried China Fun. Mums dispatched me to pick up an order of egg drop soup first, so I could bring it home for a taste test. If it passed, we'd order entrees, and I'd go back. It passed! It was the right color (yellow), and it actually smelled and tasted of eggs! We decided to commit and order dinner -- Fried Shrimp appetizer, Orange Chicken Combo, and Hunan Triple Crown. The fried shrimp was good, and I enjoyed the Human Triple Crown, although the "lobster" looked more like a fat crab stick. I'll let it pass. The sauce was good and the dish was flavorful. The shrimp and scallops were fine, and there was enough mixed vegetables to balance it all out. Mums enjoyed her orange chicken. The egg roll with her combo was a little lackluster -- thin and small -- but the interior was far superior to Nim's, which had been an unappetizing grey colored mess of cabbage. We're not going to try to compare China Fun to the best Chinese restaurants on the planet. But for Milton, it's pretty darned good. My mother likes that it is family owned, and we appreciate the friendly staff, and authentic food. I have read reviews here that say that China Fun is misleading people by saying it is "dine in". They're not misleading you; there are nice, tablecloth covered tables and chairs inside. But it isn't a *restaurant*. You go up to the counter and put in your order (or call it in), and from there, you can take it to a table if you like, or go elsewhere. I love these kinds of places! I'll post pictures of the take-out menu (current as of June 2024).

I have been here twice (E. Nine Mile Rd location), and both times were overall great experiences…read more The most recent time was clearest in my memory, so I will focus on that. It was about 5 o' clock. The girl running the register was very courteous. She explained things very clearly, like how many Rangoons I would get for a side, and readily answered questions like which crafted beverages had caffeine in them. Even as I had to use three forms of payment to chip away at my total (including an old gift card where you have to type the code manually), she didn't show any (righteous) annoyance. I used to work in fast food, I know how it is, haha. She also told me where I could find the napkins and straws after completing my order. The tables were very clean. Last time the hand sanitizer things around the restaurant were empty, so I brought my own this time. (If you are reading this, please refill. It's important for customers to be sanitary. ) Though the Sesame Chicken, Super Greens, and Rangoons were terrific (with generous portions for the former two), I did dock a star for the Kung Pao Chicken. I think I may have gotten the scrapings, because the bits of meat I got had an off-putting, rubbery texture. I also recommend the Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp, which I got last time. Came here because of a gift card, this may have to be a regular place whenever I can afford (college student).
