Recently visited Grand Burger.. had never been before. Ordered the Bacon, avocado cheese burger with onion rings. Had the burger cut in half. Boy was I glad to share with my sister. The burger was not only hot an delicious with plenty of bacon and avocado, it was certainly large enough to share. I was pleasantly surprised with the quantity of delicious crispy out side, tender inside onion rings. The only thing I would recommend to the staff is when cutting the burger wrap it individually after cutting it. Will need to go back and try another item on the menu. Pretty loyal customer, but the place is going down hill. Furniture inside is falling apart. Service is slow, and thus is the Taco I got after waiting in the drive through for 20 minutes. No cheese, stale shell, and not even possible to eat without a fork. Not used to eating my tacos with a fork, but I see no other way to eat this. Today I purchased 2 chicken salads, when I got home I began to put the dressing on and when I moved a piece of lettuce there was a big piece from a plastic bag right under it. I immediately went back to show them and they didn't really acknowledge it. I showed them the piece of plastic and all they did was say oh yeah sorry and just gave me my cash back and they did it all in a rush. They never stop to take the time to ask me if I wanted something else or even express that they were sorry, the guy didn't even really care to see what kind of plastic it was or how it could have gotten in there. Honestly I've always liked grand burger but lately they been going down hill specially when it come to attention to detail and how to make the customer feel like their concerns are heard. This place is close to our house and we go here at least once a week. The quantity you get for the price is great and the food is good. Great fast food choice with choices from Burgers and crisp fries... Mexican... Sandwiches... and healthier sandwich choices and salads are also available. Great Ranch dressing. Kids meals are available also. We usually spend anywhere from 18 to 23 dollars for 2 adults and 2 young kids depending on what we get. I work in Covina. This place is down the street from my work. Everyone at work eats here. They all say it's the BEST in town! I have had their food twice only. I have been working close to The Grand for going on 6 yrs now. 1st time was a chicken salad. Well I would have preferred the chicken to have more flavor. The second time was today. My boss bought us all breakfast this am for working the day after Thanksgiving. Which was super nice of her. So I went to pick it up 17 orders of food. They labeled all the food which was awesome. But on some burritos it said Bacon and others it said B. I didn't find this out until I got back to the office. I checked and nobody ordered a beef burrito so my boss just asumed it was Bacon also. So I took my Bacon Burrito and went on my way. The burrito has more Hashbrowns and cheese than egg and bacon. The bacon is in chuncks so it doesn't even look like bacon. I want to see full size bacon in my burritos. Also mine had sausage in it??? why?? The label said BACON. Their green Salsa is really good. The Service was top notch. The staff are very pleasent and helpful and FAST! really rock stars in my opinion. Plus it was SUPER PACKED with people! The food on the other hand was Generic in my opinion. I really don't understand all the hype about this place, the food is mediocre. I've tried their cheeseburger which was average, along with their fries which were bland. If I want a good mom and pop burger I'll go to Angelo's plus they have seasoned fries! I didn't want to rate this place solely on a burger, so I decided to try the chorizo burrito and the chicken melt on my other two visits. The chorizo burrito wasn't too bad, but I've definitely had better. The chicken melt was probably the best item I've had. Every single time I come here, it's the same deal. I get a friendly cashier then BAM! Weird, rude employee's that make me uncomfortable. Not only does everyone at this establishment stare at me while I pick up my food from the counter, but I am always handed my food by a woman that is glaring at me. We were introduced to Grand Burger by friends who've lived in Glendora for 20+ years. Gotta say, this place is better then the average roadside burger joint. Acceptable chow, but serves up the typical slimy wet with mystery sauce (might be 1000island) burgers. The fries are ok, onion rings and zucchini are on the greasy side. Overall, it's okay. The gamble is on the people in the place. We've gone there about a dozen times and at least 1/2 of the times there is a clean looking guy that stinks of ammonia or some combination of NH3 and something else. Beware of the smelly guy! There is also a drive thru if you looking to eat at home. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. Grand Burger has a very extensive menu. It took a while for me to decide what to order due to it. I decided to get a regular cheeseburger with a large order of fries.. The portion size of the cheeseburger and the fries is HUGE. There were enough fries for at least 2 to 3 people. The burger was huge that I almost couldn't finish it. My one gripe with my meal was the taste. The taste of the burger and fries were very average. Nothing really stood out to me. The service here is good. The did a good job helping me what to order and served my food in a orderly fashion. Drive-thru is a bit awkward, but manageable. It starts on the window side, not at the back of the restaurant. The drinks are large, great for the summer we've been having. A non-chain fast food place. The veggie burger is good here. The burger is juicy, and the order of fries and fried zucchini and onion rigs are big! Share it with your buddy. They serve two. They have fried mushrooms also! And the menu is extensive so you can drag anyone here and they will find something to fulfill their greasy cravings. The taco salads are also big and look really good. Ceasar salads, greek salads and Oriental Chicken salads and more are available. The burritos are big and are filled with lotsa good things, not just flat watery beans like some fast food places give you. Taquitos and tacos are made also. They have a good selection of sandwiches..From a simple grilled cheese to polish sausage, fish sandwich and even gyros. The tuna melt seemed expensive to me at 5 bucks, but they give you a shitload of tuna. I scoop out a lot of it so I can actually taste the cheese and bread and I have enough tuna left over for a small salad later on. Oh, and of course they have all kinds of burgers... Breakfast here always grows a big line for the drive-thru. It takes awhile and the food is okay. Not the best meal you've ever had but it's fresh and great for lazy days you don't want to cook. Oh my dearest Grand Burger! How I love you so. Grand Burger is one of those great mom and pop places. They have delicious food for what you pay. Yes it is a little more than the cheap burger joint somewhere else, but you see why when you eat the food. I for one dont eat burgers, but thats okay b/c this place has everything. They have great Mexican food. The chicken burrito is huge and a great value. It is also incredibly tasty and filled with chicken and rice. Yum. I love their sandwiches. Where do I start? Well, first of all I expected a lot more from a burger joint with the name "Grand Burger". The interior of the location and the food itself were not Grand at all. The burger I ordered was mediocre, and the patty was thin. All the burger had were big buns. What really hurt my feelings though were the French Fries. When I order French Fries I expect crispy and crunchy not soft and soggy. The fries didn't even stand straight, they hunched over like old people. The price was decent, but it was not accurate with the quality. At least the quantity was on point. Overall, it was my first time visiting so I'll be returning for a second round. I came here on a Sunday and decide to dine in instead of drive thru. Waited 15 minutes to order with only 1 person in front of me. Why, you might be wondering. Because the only woman taking order just kept taking phone orders over and over instead of the patrons standing in the business. That's the worst customer service you can have aside from being flat out rude. Why would you ignore the people who got out of their cars to actually be inside your business? And take orders over phone from people who may or may not even show up? That's bad business. On tops of that she took the order of Simone whole just walked in before me just because they cut in front of everyone and walked up to her while she was on the phone. Jimmy and Maria Kypreos should rethink their policies and procedures. It's much more rare today than in 1991 when they opened to have people dine in. Those people should have the ultimate in customer service. Food is ok. Place is remodeled over the years so it's nice inside. The only reason they got 2 starts is because the breakfast burritos are usually pretty good. I weigh customer service more than food. read more

The food quality and prices are generally are competitive for this type of place but they have a few items on their menu that I don't find else where. This is the one place that does Pastrami Breakfast Burritos and its GOOD. I recommend to give this a try. I don't get much else anymore since trying it myself. read more

This place is right near the hospital i did my clinical classes at and it was the hot spot! I would always have my lunch break around 12 so when i got there it was always busy. The drive-through line was always backed up so sometimes it was hard to find a place to park since cars would always be blocking the way. Sometimes it was hard to find a place to sit since it was always busy. I have tried the cheeseburger and the pastrami melt, both with french fries. I'd say both were really good and that's why i kept coming back. A huge bonus was the orange bang on tap so i was always a happy camper.
