I initially called because a mouse had got into the house and I was extremely freaked out. Justin arrived within an hour and had Jason find and seal the entry point. That's service we NEVER received from Corky's. We then had them replace all the fascia and corbels on our 2 story home which was extensive. Justin and his crew were absolutely awesome!! Gary and Jason arrived on time every morning and did such a fantastic job. The painter Mike was also excellent. Everything was replaced, painted on all sides and sprayed with a treatment to prevent termites. While waiting for the corbels to come in, they even put mesh over the openings to prevent any rodents from getting in. As Gary did our final walk around, I found out he had also fixed so many different areas with rodent protection that I didn't even know about, which made me so happy. They truly treated my home like it was their own. They also treated for subterranean termites and did ant and spider treatments. We were previously with Corky's for well over 10 years and the level of service we have received from Grand Oak Termite is a MILLION times better. Another company came out to do the inspection, but failed to get back in a timely manner. After a week of trying to schedule with them, I gave up and decided to look on Yelp for an alternative. I had a prior inspection done by another company who had done work for me previously. The inspector said I had only 3 areas that needed local treatment (that I had identified for him) and I would definitely not need tenting. He said my house was "spotless". I had quite a shock when his report said I needed to be tented, but almost no repairs. So on to my search for another company. I found Grand Oaks after doing a Google and Yelp search. It is unusual to find so many 5 star reviews. Justin and Gary did an inspection and found multiple areas that needed treatment and repair. I was not surprised because of evidence I had seen. They gave me a thorough debrief and explaination. I authorized them to do the work they recommended (which do not include tenting). Gary showed up when he said he would and he was a fast but thorough worker who also explained what he was doing and what he found as he progressed. He kept our yard neat and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. The job was completed when they predicted (in spite of finding some hidden damage that needed additional repair). I was impressed with all the extra little things they did to ensure the repairs were done to higher standards which ensured a cosmetically pleasing and longer lasting repair. After arming myself with all the retail pest control products I could find at Lowe's, Home Depot, and Amazon (oh yeah hundreds of dollars later too!) for the ensuing battles with the pests in my home and around my yard and surrounding my property - I was finally reached a boiling point. He was reasonably priced and uses natural pesticides. He was also more than happy to work around our playful dogs. Much like others leaving reviews here, I too wish I could give more than 5 stars. Justin was responsive, reliable and went into great detail to explain what was going on with termites in my home. He took extra time and care to address any questions I had and even went as far to educate me and explain about questions I should have asked but didn't know to. Scheduling was quick and easy too. Gary came out to do the physical inspection with Justin. They both used shoe protectors before entering and wore masks the entire time. I've had other pest control companies come out over the years and no one ever went above and beyond like they did. And all other companies refused to go under the house, but not Gary and Justin! We have Grand Oaks to do an annual pest control prevention before it gets crazy every summer. Last year, we had problems with ants. We saw a huge ant colony in our backyard. Justin, the owner, gave us a 30 day guarantee and he stood by his words - call him anytime if the problem exists. I am in awe of Grand Oaks Termite Control. Justin and Gary came out and inspected my home and they were punctual, polite and very knowledgeable. I was so worried about my home being infested with termites, but Justin put my mind at ease. He determined that I had an isolated infestation in one room of my home and that there was no need to be tented. He gave me a fair quote and treatment of the room literally took maybe an hour.
