My husband and I attended the Luau. This was our first Luau in Maui and we enjoyed it. My husband had never been to a Luau so all of it was so new to him. It was so cute to see everyone dancing along especially the cute little kids. Everyone was pretty friendly.

It's been almost a week since we've come back from Hawaii and I woke up with the following lyric stuck in my head this morning, "Island in the skyyyy, paradiiiise, calling youuuu, calling meeeee, Hawaiiiiiiiiiii" which came from this luau. So I figured I should write my review on it. The luau clearly left an impression on me. First off, this is an expensive luau. It was not our first choice because of that, but we booked it so last minute it was what was available. I only have another luau to compare to, but that was from 20 years ago when I was just a kid. At the time, I remember I couldn't see anything because I sat way out in the back, and to be frank I probably wasn't fully paying attention because I was playing with my school friends. What would a good luau entail? To me, good story telling, performance, food, drinks, service, and ambiance. All of these were homeruns. And that's why I'm giving 5 stars. The performers did stellar jobs. Through their singing, dancing, and music, they conveyed the spirit of the Hawaiian islands and its distinct history. There were multiple numbers, each unique and important to the show in their own way. The MC had a soothing singing voice that was used throughout. The hula dancers were very fluid, and I enjoyed watching the lady with the giant cloudlike skirt that made her look like a cloud personified, dancing in the heavens. We loved that the show was capped off by the amazing fire dancer who really brought on the heat! We were captivated throughout the entire show and got to learn a little at the same time. While our senses were ignited by the show, our taste buds feasted on the spread before us. See pictures. We got to have it all. For appetizers- poi (taro with water), poke, breadfruit mac salad, Hawaiian rolls, salad. They say poi is not for the faint of heart, but growing up in an Asian household, we love taro. And the tip from the waiter was to have it with the poke, which was delicious too. I really enjoyed eating breadfruit for the first time. I now understand why it's called breadfruit. It has the taste and texture of a nice roll. I love that the Hawaiian rolls came with a sprinkling of guava over the butter. For the main course, we had a nice helping of kalua pig, teriyaki chicken and beef with grilled taro and noodles, and a third dish of curry mahi mahi with rice and veggies. The quality of the food was actually very tasty. The kalua pig was on the drier end. The teriyaki and taro were delicious. The curry was very flavorful. The mahi mahi was cooked well. Finally for dessert, we had a platter brought before us which included panna cotta, brownie bites, lilikoi cakes, coconut and taro puddings, and fresh pineapple. By this point of the meal, we were stuffed and couldn't finish all our dessert, but we enjoyed the small bite size samplings of everything. My favorites were the puddings and panna cotta. We also had endless supply of drinks, so I ordered a couple of pina coladas. Our server was spectacular. His name was Todd. He was very friendly and helpful and genuinely seemed happy to be there. While a luau is definitely not cheap, it really is a magical experience. Even though I don't fully remember the one I attended 20 years ago, I still remember the feeling I had when I was there, and it left me with a feeling of enchantment, romance, and wonder. Both luaus I've attended had gorgeous rainbow sunsets and lovely ambiance. Now as an adult who can appreciate a lot more, and perhaps this was a much better luau too, I can definitely say that this luau was one of the highlights of our trip (although we had many). We saved it for our last night in Hawaii, and it was a great send off. The location of this luau is beautiful, right alongside the beach. I actually liked that the luau was not facing the sunset, because it allowed us to take many amazing photos with the sunset during golden hour. It also meant the show could start when the sun was still out, and we wouldn't be blinded by the light. My husband and I were very much mesmerized by the enchanting evening and enjoyed every second of it. The night ended far too early. We had a beautiful night.

Best luau on Maui, period. From the food to the show to the ambience, it just cannot be beat. Do yourself a flavor and reserve one of the premium tables up front; it's definitely worth the up-charge for the better seating, especially when the show is by far the best on the island.

This was our third luau on Maui, but first with our boys- and by far our favorite. We loved that our family of 4 had our own table. The food was delicious, the drinks were tasty and plentiful, and the staff was amazing. We arrived early and enjoyed the different areas set up for the kids to try something new (tattoos, ukulele, bowling), had a beautiful family photo taken, and did a little shopping. Our server, Desiree, was so kind and made sure we had enough of our favorites, including drinks (try the lava flow)! The entertainment was amazing, especially the MC. The entire experience was captivating on grounds that were beyond gorgeous. Thankful for the priceless memories created this night.

We attended the luau last summer 2024 and purchased a hand-carved honu from the vendor who was also the artist. Does anyone know his name? I wish we would have had him sign the art.

All the tables were full of tourist families - it was good vibes, the tables separated by white sheer curtains giving it a little elegance. There was a lot of mahi on the menu! Their liquor selection was more limited than I'd think - so I skipped a cocktail. I got the Mac crusted mahi - sadly it was flavorless and the sauce was cold. Completely removed and replaced with about a dozen or more tables for four. Really , if you want a treat at sunset , come here. Great service.

This is one of the more elevated dining experiences you will find on the island of Maui. Breathtaking views of the ocean sunsets are incredible. When dinner service begins. There is a native Hawaiian who blows a conch shell with a small ceremony to celebrate the evening and to pay homage to the true owners of this island the native Hawaiians. I started out with the Tchin Tchin cocktail, amazing delicate flavor, not too sweet. I then had to try their seared Ahi on the rock appetizer where they bring you a piping hot rock and fresh Aji you cook the Aji on the rock yourself and it comes with three different incredible dipping sauces. Then I had the lobster tempura dish for my main meal combined with grilled monchong. This is one of the best dishes I think I've ever had in my life. The fish was so light and buttery and juicy and flaky, and the lobster cooked to perfection, and I was very skeptical because were breading this lobster and tempura and there's such a risk of over cooking and that did not happen here I was super super pleased. I then went with the Pinoy honey toast for dessert with a side of Ube ice cream also incredible. The service here for me was second to none. It was delightful to spend my 50th birthday here and I owe much gratitude to Leeann and Randy for their service! Many mahalos! I will definitely be back.

The service has been great and always is great. But this was my last time here. Due to the new menu being subpar and quite frankly really expensive. 4 adults $800. Only 2 alcoholic beverages. Just way more than anyone wants to spend on a subpar dinner. The renovations look great, definitely improved. So we'll give them credit on that.

All of his recommendations were spot on. He took great pride in every dish we started with a tuna tartar appetizer and calamari, cocktails were on point as well as the wines selections. For dinner, we ordered three different entrées, the New York steak, which was five out of five, the hanger steak, which I would say is 3.5 out of five and the mahi-mahi fish of the day which was a 10 out of five ! The star of the show was truly the dessert. Which was a caramelized Maui gold pineapple served with a frozen pineapple shell filled with coconut ice cream and meringue. All I can say is wow I'm giving a five star review. Cannot wait to go back. My only concern was that the receipt on the final bill displays a 20, 22 and 25% gratuity option that is based on the price of the entire bill, including the tax not the pre-tax total.

The drink I had was a daiquiri which was served very cutely with a popsicle providing the sweetness. My son and I were dining and we ordered the hanger steak, and I had the pork surf and turf special. I also ordered on the side the milk rolls and the crispy potatoes. The service was good and folks were kind. So here is the unfortunate part. The kitchen was clearly terribly behind because we waited about 30-40 minutes for our meal. I looked around and noticed that no one around me was eating. So it's clear they were slammed. Then food all started coming out at the same time. Then when my food arrived guess what... that's right it was cold. Both mine and my son's food was cold. I was really confused about that because we waited so long. Was it forgotten? I waited for the server to come by to check but he didn't so I had to ask the buser to ask him to come check. He came by a few minutes later and back he went with my food. The food tasted good though. A tad bit heavy on the salt but still good. I was expecting the rolls to be a bit more light but they were okay. The potatoes were the best bite of the meal. We still ordered dessert the zeppole which were just okay. And the calamansi pie which was tasty. Sadly nothing was outstanding to the point I would return. But I live in Los Angeles so that's not much of an issue anyway. I wish them luck as they work out the kinks!
