The name Grandma's Pancake House called out to be our first breakfast stop. The restaurant is located in a strip-type shopping center. It's not particularly homey, definitely not upscale. It's Just a place to grab breakfast or lunch. We arrived a little after 10 am, there were two other tables with patrons, and as we dined three more couples came in. That helped to make the place feel more comfortable, although you could hear what anyone said. I ordered the Meat Lover's Skillet with Greek toast and eggs sunny side-up. The meal looked good and tasted good too. It comes with hash browns, layered between the eggs and the meats. The Greek toast was good, it's thick and is best with butter. All in all, it was pretty much as good as any skillet I've had anywhere and at a fair enough price of $12. Their decaf coffee was dark and reminded me of Starbucks coffee. V ordered Eggs Benedict. He said the sauce had almost no flavor, but it was edible. He had iced tea and seemed to enjoy it. My meal would have earned four starts but V's Eggs Benedicts brought the rating down.

Came in not sure what to expect. Was greeted and sat immediately by the polite staff. The menu was easy to read and were able to order quickly. Our food came out promptly and was fresh. The hash browns weren't as crispy as I liked but definitely not a deal breaker. The waitress was incredibly friendly and professional. I didn't have to ask for a refill on time. We are very pleased when we visit here. Occasionally the service has been sub par, but the food has always been great. We have come to make this a regular stop. The service is usually very quick and most of the time on point. During busy times it seems the customer is easily over looked. read more
