I just bought a 2018 GMC Terrain from Sharif. Other dealerships were very pushy, unlike Sharif. He treated me like a friend and made sure I was very comfortable with my purchase. Beware of fraud. I went in for an inspection and I was aware that one of my tires had a slow leak. During the inspection I was told my brakes needed to be changed soon but the vehicle would pass inspection. I was informed that there was a nail in the tire. I refused the $600 brake job. I was charged for the tire repair. The next day when I did the brakes I noticed the nail was still there. When I called the dealership the receptionist said tech said he had no time to speak to me after I explained my issue. I even sent an email requesting a refund for the tire repair that wasn't performed. I never heard back from anyone. read more

Last year i bought a car from here. Although the results are my own fault (and i do not completely blame the dealership) i feel my experience should be known. This was my first car purchase. The salesman only went over monthly payments and got me excited to own a car. He asked me to log into my insurance then he changed my policy to fit the new car, which I did not know he was doing. Long story short, i'm paying 5x the value of a car over the next 6 years and it's beginning to fall apart. Obviously it is my own fault for not asking more questions and being vulnerable but I wanted to warn future buyers of these shysters. read more

Went to showroom to look at a Yukon that was advertised on-line at msrp then once we check out the vehicle and they look at our trade in they show me the numbers. Gives me decent number on trade but tries to sell my the new car $10,000 over msrp. I get there is low inventory but that's being greedy and a disservice to customers. Good luck selling vehicle for that much over msrp. They are screwing customers in a couple years when they find out they are upside down and owe way more then vehicle is worth. read more

So a few weeks ago we purchased a vehicle and had a great sales experience. The service department, wow, they are abominable, we made an appointment 2 weeks ago to get spray liner and a touneau cover, we were told come Thursday and we will give you a car for Friday. Get there, no record of appointment, get us in anyway and give us a loaner. Friday at about 4:45 they call and say can't get the cover on u til Saturday morning. By 10;30 Saturday no call. We go out and our told "it's not ready, you should prepare to wait. I have a schedule to keep" wait the schedule should include getting mc my truck back today that was due back yesterday, we have plans also. Then we go inside to return the car and the woman there says "did you get up on the wrong no aide of the bed, we are trying to get this done". Others in the waiting room were appalled at the tone and attitude. This was a $1500 purchase, guess what. I have taken my 2019 Yukon to this dealership a few times in the past year. I have gotten oil changes and most recently a hub bearing. The past few times has been overwhelmingly difficult scheduling service. All available dates have been more than 30 days away. I scheduled for the earliest date which was more than 30 days also. I also left a note along with my appointment asking for an earlier date if someone cancels sooner. Today was my appointment date for 1:30 pm. I received a call for confirmation today but couldnt take the call. I called back asap. I spoke with the scheduler and I informed them that I would be there a bit earlier than the scheduled time but had no problem waiting. Another person calls me while in route to the dealership and say they are cancelling my appointment. I explained the wait time and also the level of priority. This person showed no care compassion or concern. He was very cold and unapologetic. I will never take my vehicle back to this establishment. I have wasted time and gas not to mention leaving work early for the appointment. You guys have just lost a good customer. The way this was handled was Very unprofessional and untimely. read more

Just got done speaking with Jared & David in new car sales. Have been working with Jared about coming in to take a look at a new GMC Yukon - had an appointment set up to see it today. Was told it sold but they had another one just like it, but a demo & listed at the same price as the brand new Yukon?? Still interested to look at it, I kept my appointment. Felt like the service was fine until I got my car back Saturday and called on a Monday to let them know that my steering wheel had not been fixed correctly (can barely make a left turn) or something new was now wrong with my car. The shocking part is, when I called I was told that if it was something new that was wrong with my car (which I doubt since the problem has only started happening since getting it back) that if I didn't want them to fix it. I would be charged a 150 dollar diagnoses fee !! WHICH IS OUT OF CONTROL. Even though I'm pretty confident that I won't have to pay because they messed something up in my steering wheel why even risk it. Not satisfied at all and surely will not return. read more

Watch out for this place. I bought a used SUV here in October 2015. Before I purchased it, I questioned a shuddering in the rear. I was told it was normal for AWD. Soon after purchasing, I brought the car to their service dept. and was told it needed a rear differential and tires for $3100. I called to complain and was told by the sales manager that the service dept was stand alone and none of that work was necessary. I eventually did replace all tires and had the rear rebuilt for 2600. Now, the car with only 78000 miles on it, needs a new engine. I wrote to Granite Run, but no surprise that they haven't responded. Once the sale is over, you don't exist to them. read more

New vehicle, brought back for warranty service.  Warranty issue resolved.  However, traded 1 problem for 2 new ones.  Found 2 dents which I was later informed, could not be repaired by PDR (paintless dent removal).  Thanks Granite Run. 2. New vehicle, brought in for warranty service.  Had a detail done just prior to dropping off for service.  Service said vehicle was ready for pick up. Took pictures of the engine hours/idle hours and mileage before drop off and after pick up.  Nothing was done except left running for over an hour and miles put on a new motor not broken in yet.  Noticeable negative driving difference after picking up.  Greasy boot prints on front bumper and grill (why was someones boot on the bumper and grill?), greasy finger prints all over vehicle.  Brought vehicle in again a second time.  Again, problems not addressed or resolved by service.  Actually was asked to bring vehicle back at a later date for a third time. This really isn't acceptable for a new vehicle, especially at the price point. 3. Their used car value appraisals guy claimed trade in value on a 9 month old vehicle was 10K under what the used values listed.  I understand the concept of buying something to turn a profit.  Their trade in offer was beyond ridiculous. Trade in number offered was significantly lower than what other dealers were offering. Glad I took the time to check out some other places.   Summary: Salesman are VERY eager to get the deal closed. Exceptionally disappointing and poor customer service post sale.  Mechanics/Tech's do not respect your property or vehicle.  Service is a complete disappointment.  Do yourself a favor, read some other reviews. read more

Beware of taking your vehicle to the repair shop at this dealer. I had my vehicle bought in for service and simply because I couldn't afford the non covered expenses that my warranty didn't cover...they refused to do any of the work. Also they claim they put my vehicle on a diagnostic machine to determine the problem however, they claim that nothing was wrong with my air bag system despite it showing up in the cars dashboard information center. read more

Still trying to get $100 hold on my credit card. Nice sales guy but they do not do what they say they will do. I would search for a more honest dealership, even if it means paying more. Bought a used car from here back in April and they lied to me about the tires. They told me all 4 tires were in great shape and almost all had about 85% life left. Well it's 3 months later and I am going to have to replace all 4 of the tires because they are dry rotted. Two stars is a push. Let me start off with in 2017 I went in to purchase a car, I got the car I wanted but I was handed off to a salesperson who seemed fairly new and the whole process took almost 8 hours. 8! That car has some mechanical problems - they had in their shop for 3 days. So first it was 8 hours of waiting and then 3 days of no car I purchased. Fast forward, 1 year later to the day - the car breaks down. I get it fixed, return to GMC to trade it in, no problem. Start working on a new lease of a car instead of purchase - I get handed off to a salesman who just talked and talked and talked but was never really focused or clear on whats going on ... anyway, I get my new lease, everyones throwing this payment at me of $350, which is fine - I hear it 25 times in the 6 hours I am there. I put down $2500 to get the payments that low. After 4 weeks of the salesman calling me and bothering me for information he never got in the 6 hours I was there. Making my first payment "late" because the process took too long and also my payments are $375 so I was lied to for 6 hours about it being $350. Bottom line is they are incompetent, unprofessional and very bad at putting things together in a timely manner. I did not enjoy this experience. Only reason its 2 stars is cause I do still love the car. After this lease Im totally going else where. read more

My wife's car was in need of service. I called and made an appointment that fit her schedule and they were more then accommodating. With three car seats, we needed something comparable to the Yukon that was going in for service. Glen made sure that they had an Acadia with a third row so we could fit all the car seats in. I talked to the Service department about the issues with my sisters truck and the Service advisors was rude,cocky and just a nasty individual.The brake pedal is going to the floor,you can hear the air from the spongy brake pedal, Brakes 101.the brake shift interlock is so loud that it sounds like the truck is gonna fall apart and the power steering binds up .These are all issues that should be simple fixes,but I feel because she is a woman ,they are trying to pass her off.I explained everything to the T in writing and after four days in the shop,they tell her lady there ain't a dam thing wrong with that truck.That truck is a danger to the road.Looking into legal action. This dealer lies so bad. They claim my sisters brakes are normal and they called GM tech.They now on May 2,2017 say they have no case number which Gm tech always gives when they are called about car issues.I went to Coleman Buibk ain Nj and checked three 2017 Buick enclaves with 2-3 k miles which were service loaners. All had firm brake pedals,foot didn't go to floor,ni slapping against fire wall.Finally had enough of their crap and hired a lawyer before she gets killed in that piece of crap.Worst thing is their attitude talking down to woman like they are pieces of dirt.They have to be the stupidest mechanics ever if they can't fix a spongy brake pedal that's the cause of the smacking against the firewall while taking brake shift interlock off..the system maybe electronic but there's still many mechanical parts that can cause these issues.They claim Buick tech says operating as designed so I guess the ones that were perfect at Coleman Buick in Lawrencville Nj were all defective.People Run from Granite a run,save your sanity,I think they are woman haters. Oh they told my sister her tires don't get rotated til 12k miles.they get rotated at 7500 miles according to manual.the manual says 12k kilometers which is the Canadian measurement,maybe they don't know where they live and that's why they don't have clue how to fix vehicles.they say they compared hers to others but won't do it in front of her so we can take measurements from the brake pedal to floor with foot on and off on hers and others.What are you scared of Granite Run.We know that it's the fact the GM techs hate warranty work,.Thank God for Lemon lawyers,maybe they can get Gm to send someone that has a clue since this dealer doesn't.They even told her not to bring it back and refuse anymore appointments to work on these dangerous issues. read more

I'll just start out by saying that I HATED the place that I purchased my last vehicle from with a fiery passion, as well as the vehicle itself. I went on Wednesday 6/17/15 & was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't bombarded with sleazy salesmen stalking me as I walked through the parking lot. I actually had to wait for a little while in order to talk to a salesperson & check out a potential new vehicle. I first sat & spoke with Mark O'Brien, the new car sales manager, regarding a potential purchase & the fees & monthly payments I'd be dishing out. He was upfront, pleasant & informative. He worked different scenarios for me & we worked out a great deal, but I wasn't ready just yet to sign on the dotted line. I next met with Sharif Mosley, a sales specialist to go for a test drive & find out what the buyout would be for my current SUV. He spent a lot of time with me going over everything & explaining it all to me. He wasn't pushy & didn't make me feel overwhelmed. I've had issues in the past while car shopping because I'm a female. A lot of salesmen act like you're an idiot & try to pull one over on you; this was absolutely not the case with Mark & Sharif. Although I didn't buy anything that night, I left the dealership feeling well informed & like I was being offered an extremely good deal. The next day I decided to just make sure that another car brand wasn't the way to go, so I checked out Ford. For a car that cost less than the one GMC had, they were telling me I'd have to put down double what I was willing to do, & that my monthly payment would be even more than what I was currently paying. They even went so far as to tell me that I could get a 2014 model, for $500 a month, with $4,500 down. That's ridiculous! By Friday I was back at GMC Granite Run and found out that just that day they got in the EXACT model Terrain I wanted, and matched the price they gave me on Wednesday. I was extremely ecstatic over my experience with GMC Granite Run, & loved working with Sharif & Mark and will be sending everyone I know to them in the future. In fact, my husband will be purchasing a vehicle with them in the near future! They are extremely helpful when buying but when you are having issues with your purchase the sales rep and manager go MIA. After weeks of trying to contact our sales rep with no luck I resorted to stopping in.I spoke to the manager, Anthony, who assured me he would fix the problems. I dealt with Rafael, and Dave. See my issues below I sent this to the dealership: I recently bought a 2005 Z71 Chevy Colorado, from your dealership on Saturday Jan. 4, 2014. After speaking with Rafael and one of your service managers we did end up purchasing the truck. They took off 300.00 because it has not had its 100,000 mile tune up. The Service manager (Dave) reassured us that it goes through full inspection at your shop and that its in great condition. Rafael informed us that we have 30 days in which to return this truck. We asked him this at least 5 times because we said, what if we get home and there is an oil leak the next day on the ground, that I cannot see now cause of the snow. Rafael said no problem you have 30 days in which to bring it back. Well since Sunday I had to go away for work, I've not driven the truck since Saturday when I brought it home. I got home yesterday and I went to start up the truck so that I could go to dinner and it had the worst god awful squealing noise to it. (I have the noise video taped) After about 20 mins it finally stopped. Since then there has been nothing but issues, I went to get gas today and they could not get the cap off!!! I had to get it home, and pry it off and buy a new one, and go out again to get a gas can full of gas and bring it back home since it was on empty. The transmission is shifting hard, all the sparks plugs have to be replaced, the driver side door will not close properly every time you shut it, it has an exhaust leak, the high beams keep getting stuck on, I found a blue rag under the hood next to the battery and the smell of the truck has not faded. Whatever was used to clean this truck is god awful and smells horrible. It also had a hard time starting today so it needed to be jumped which means it needs a new battery. I've not done anything to it yet because he has been working, I would like to know in detail how the 30 day return works because right now this is not looking good at ALL!! If something drastic happens before Feb. 2, 2014 we will be bringing this back. A full service check did not happen, if it did half of this would have been taking care of, especially the blue rag being under the hood. No answer - Monday I send this: In addition to the below. There is a leak on the driver side which has stained the ceiling and rug, There is an oil leak in where the spark plugs we're and the attached is a picture of the tube that was smashed/dry rotted and caused more oil to leak on the ground. Needless to say an inspection was not done on this vehicle. Again please advise the 30day policy ASAP!! And I can tell you the 300.00 you gave us due to not having the 100,000 mile tune up was not enough at all! I received a call from Dave, to which he said they interviewed Rafael and he says he never said anything about a 30 day policy. If we couldnt bring it back we would of never of left with it, thats why we asked many times!!! He says we can have them look at it. What the hell is that gonna do, you said you looked at it before and you obviously lied to make the sale. This truck will be claimed as a lemon if i have anything drastic happen to it in the next few days. And I will receive my money. This dealership should not be trusted, I understand most dealerships lie here and there but this was way to far especially with all the issues!!!! They lied to make a sale and I wish i had recorded what they said. I dont like to put out 10,000 dollars to come home and work on the truck. I do not recommend this place to anyone!!! read more
