This place is the bomb and I love that it's open 24 hours. Even on the holidays. It's just as good as the frozen yogurt next-door. I have been going to this donut shop since I was old enough to walk there. I live a couple of blocks away; I was probably around eight. Their donuts are just better enough than Dunkin' or Yum Yum or Donut Star to make this my go to donut shop to this day. I remember walking in there when I was a kid and seeing the shrine in the back with oranges and donuts offered to it. I'm not currently in the market for another deity, but if I were, this one that takes donuts as offerings has be intrigued. Their donuts have always been delicious and fresh. I usually go later on in the evening (the hours on this yelp site say that they close as a certain time, but as far as I can tell, they're open at all hours), and I look in the back for what's just come out of the fryer. The best donut that I have had there was a maple Cruller that had just been made and glazed minutes before. My sister will tell you that the cake donuts with the chocolate frosting are better the day after they are made, but she's a liar. A dirty liar. You should never listen to her. read more

Poor hygiene...we were standing there & the lady behind the counter rubbed her nose and didn't wash her hands. This only makes me wonder what happens when they are making donuts or cutting the fruit. I am extremely disappointed in this place. I needed donut holes for my very special autistic son's birthday and went in pre ordered pre paid and made sure to explain just what i wanted. The day of my pick up the order was wrong they knew it was wrong before i even went in. Why wasnt i called and told my order was all messed up instead i drove to San Pedro from torrance and picked up paid for and took the wrong order. After coming here for a good few years I will no longer be giving this place my business. They are not dog friendly and have a sign OUTSIDE stating no dogs are allowed. We have always sat outside, minded our business and been respectful customers. This place is conveniently located across a park and it has always been a local favorite of ours in our weekly walk with our dog. They deserve 5 stars... I came here one night and asked if they had any fresh donuts. The man sold me ones that were fresh! I was so happy! Warm donut made my night. I have come here a few times in the last couple weeks, and even if the donuts aren't "freshly made" (meaning in the past hour), they are still good. The staff is friendly. You will always get fresh and amazing tasting donuts from here. They are always well stalked and have a variety to choose from. If only they had better service. I almost feel like I am annoying them when I am trying to pick my donut. When they give you your change they don't count it back and say " here you go thank you for coming have a nice day" all in one sentence and not sincere at all. It's kinda strange. 3.5 to be more specific I remember going past this place all the time and always wondering about it. Since I have been on this horrendous doughnut kick my boyfriend and I decided to go here one night. We called (just like we always do, so we know whats fresh) and just my luck, buttermilk bars were coming right up the man said! So we were sold, we made the trek from lomita to San Pedro (I know I know it's not that far, but still when there is a doughnut store right on the corner, we may seem crazy to some, but no where is too far for warm buttermilk bars!) Anyways we were greeted with a cheery hello and a huge selection of doughnuts, but a streak of fear shot through me when I notice I don't see any buttermilk bars, UNTIL I peeked into the kitchen and what did I see? A rack chock FULL! SOOOOOO fresh!!! So I asked if they were putting them out soon, and the man asked which kind I wanted and went and got them STRAIGHT OFF THE RACK! I was ecstatic! So my boyfriend and I order our regular half dozen, and the man behind the counter throws in some free ones! I always appreciate free doughnuts. :) We got back to his house and I started my ritualistic behaviour of doughnut eating. I started to peel my buttermilk bar apart and I noticed it was super duper greasy. And I mean I love doughnuts and I know they are not good fur you, but after picking at few of these I started to feel..heavy, and sluggish, not usually something that happens to me when I eat doughnuts. But that did not stop me, my boyfriend handed me the doughnut that the man gave to us, it was a filled chocolate bar, and I usually don't like filled anything because I don't like cream or custard, but one bite of this and I realized, this doughnut isn't filled with either, that doughnut was filled with what tasted like buttercream frosting! FROSTING! OH MY GOODNESS! Delicious! Well Needless to say I think if you want a doughnut and grease over dose this is the place to go. Great selection and unique doughnuts. Hubby and I take our son here for breakfast sometimes and he always want chocolate donut and we order the ham and cheese croissant very delicious. Best spot in the world. Has some dank ass donuts and the Asian people who work there are chill as fuck. Open all hours. This place use to be way better before they made all the changes to the parking lot and everything . Before it was like your traditional original donut stop now it's more like a liquor store with lotto tickets , candy , ice cream and other random stuff .
