Mom & Pop drive-in off the main drag in Estacada. It is ADA friendly and offers comfortable seating for people of size. Outside seating is also available. I like this place a lot; my only gripes are that they frequently seem to be understaffed and the wait time in the drive-thru can be painfully long. The food is really good but inconsistent; sometimes shakes are milk thin, other times you can turn yourself inside out just trying to get a sip of your milkshake. It's the same with burgers, they're either meh, or require numerous napkins just to catch all the gooey awesomeness. It's definitely worth a visit, if only to support local independent businesses. read more

Don't ask me why I was in Estacada. I have to go here about once a month for work. There aren't many quick lunch options in the area. Happened upon this place & I can get behind mom-and-pop places. They have crinkle cut fries. Their burger was decent. They make everything fresh, so it took a bit longer than popular chains. They're also in the middle of nowhere, so the price was a little steep. I always try and get the mozilla cheese sticks, they are very good! they have some good deals! No sitting inside because it is an small place and they have like 1-2 tables outside! Granny's for years was amazing but now it's simply not. The meals don't taste great especially for the price. The staff are the rudest people in all of the restaurants I've ever been in 30 years. Except for the manager she was sweet. I think she was the manager. Watch out if they get your order wrong met with eye rolls and exasperated sounds. They never smile despite me always smiling and saying thank you. I've never written a bad review. Hard to do this. LEWS in Estacada is the place to go. I thought I haven't been to Granny's in a while. Made a huge online order so all written out and half the meals missing items. Usually I don't care if one thing missing I know mistakes happen but two meals wrong I went back politely asked and met with rudeness I've never had here in Estacada. Again Lew's better food, better prices and the sweetest staff always polite and smiling. read more

Is very sad to see the decline in what used to be excellent burgers & fries. Crinkle fries are gone which was the only reason I kept eating there even tho the burger taste, sauce, veggies on it etc , have all gotten steadily worse. Fries have a weird hard coating of some sort on them & don't taste like a potato - is probably a preservative or a coating to make a thin frozen limp french fry have some crunch to it even tho it wasn't cooked in the deep fryer long enough. Other burger places I stopped going to are also using these awful fries. Burgers are slopped together & bagged up just as carelessly. If you ask for anything - like a well done burger - you won't get it. ALWAYS check the bag to be sure you got all you ordered as that can't be trusted to happen anymore. Asked for a very crispy well done corn dog - it wasn't. Employees are not customer service oriented anymore & if friends or classmates come in other customers are ignored while they hang out at their tables & talk, laugh, flirt. Long time customer and am so disappointed. There has been some sort of recent change and all of a sudden they are using hockey puck size burgers which taste HORRIBLE. It's like eating meatloaf over flavored with onion. I took a bite and spit it out immediately. I tried again a few weeks later hoping it was a fluke and had the same response. No one would eat the bag of burgers I had bought. And while their portions are getting smaller their prices are getting higher and the wait times longer. One if the best places for burgers, fries, and shakes. That traditional corner "mom & pop" shack next to the high school. Brings back k memories of my youth. Great for the family, indoor and outdoor seating, and recently remodeled and updated with a clean and sharp appearance, inside and out. Plenty of parking and drive-thru. read more

If I could I would give it 2.5 stars. The burgers are actually ok, but are small for the price they charge. The main problem I've had is inexperienced staff. My last trip there I ended up leaving because I waited and waited in line with only 2 people in front of me, but the girl taking orders kept answering the phone and taking phone orders instead of placing them on hold.. hey I drove here to wait in line, I don't want 5 phone orders to go to the grill before me when I took the time to stand there and wait. Years ago, Granny's use to be the spot you could go get a great, hot, tasty burger and fries. You could also get your food in a timely manner as well. The staff cared, they welcomed you with a smile and you always left wanting to come back for more. Well not anymore. They have recently changed owners and said they have "improved"from the previous ones, but honestly it has gone downhill, it has been that way for a while now. Burgers come out cold, staff isn't friendly, wait times are longer than you can imagine. Everything about Granny's has changed. Oh, and don't forget about the tip the ask for after you've been put through all that. This was at one point in time a great place, but now, I don't recommend it to anyone. Even a simple ice cream cone that should take 5 minutes to get, takes over 15-20 minutes to arrive in your hands. This place could be the best place in town, but instead it has gone the other way. I hope it can change soon or it probably won't be here in years to come. read more

Honestly the only reason this place has 3 stars and not 1 is because the food is decent. I have been coming here twice a month for 3 years. Their service never changes. You wait 40 min in line to even get to the window then another 20-30 for the food. Everytime. If you are in a rush or simply hungry I recommend you go somewhere else because this is ridiculous I finally decided to write a review as I'm sitting here in this line for 50 min. Extremely slow service. Food is average. Took over half an hour before I finally decided to go in and ask where my food was, and they hastily threw it together. Also the deal of half price jr dogs and jr burgers on Wednesday that has been a deal since I moved here 8 years ago ended apparently. So I paid double what I would have. It's very subpar food that's overpriced. I'd love to see the local businesses removed, they're not doing much for the community except offering child's sippy cup sized "small" drinks for $1.50. We called in an order to pick up on our way through Estacada to go camping. The food was ready when we got there so it was a super quick in and out. Plenty of off street and street parking which made it nice pulling a trailer. The food was absolutely amazing. Exactly what we wanted. Added bonus we didn't have to cook immediately after setting up camp. We camp that way a few times a year and this place will now be a must stop everytime. read more

You didn't give me the fries I ordered and I figured it was an oversight. I came back & patiently waited in the drive thru. The bag was stapled shut & there were several cars behind me, so I didn't double check my order. I get home to find that not only are the tots I ordered missing, but my burger was nearly raw. C'mon, Granny's, I want to support a local business, but you're making it really difficult. I'm giving 3 stars because I have received good food & service in the past. We had a baseball game at the high school several weeks ago and while the boys practiced, we found Granny's. Such great burgers and french fries! They have shakes, malts and soft serve ice cream as well though haven't had a chance to try. Did go there again today (bball game again) and it was just as good. Service is a bit slow but the food more than makes up for it. Love supporting local business and good food! read more

Food here is decent, though nothing really special. Burgers have good flavor, small order of fries is HUGE, milk shakes and soft serve are good. It's a good place for a small town. Prices are a bit high, but being in a small town it makes sense. Don't go here if you're in a hurry, however. Everything is made to order and is not "fast food." I like that it's locally owned and operated--gives high school kids a place to work. Granny's is very supportive of MANY local events and non profit groups, which is a great way to give back to the community. read more

Boyfriend and I stopped in just to get something quick and good. I've been here before and gotten exemplary burgers, but this time it was sloppily done and not even cut all the way through, since we were sharing a burger. The kids outside were rude and obnoxious and the staff didn't do anything about it. Ordered a milkshake and asked for the straw on the side, since they were exposed and I have germ issues, and she came back with a straw in the milkshake, plus an extra one. Flies landing on the ice scoop being brushed off right before use, cook in the back wiping her nose on her shirt collar and continuing to work without washing her hands, usually a great place to eat. Went in for burger and onion rings today. Order was "to go" and when we got home 3 minutes after picking it up, opened onion rings to find a bag of limp, greasy, over done rings. Called in and told person on the phone I'd like to return them for a refund. He yelled out, "There's some chick on the phone ......". Folks, I'm 65+ years of age and don't care to be referred to as a "chick" . When I spoke with the person who ended up taking my call, she just went on arguing to defend the food saying it must have sat around at my house if it was greasy. The rings were still warm when I returned them so "sitting around" wasn't the problem ! BAD, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and lousy onion rings. This place may have scripture embedded in their cement walkway but they need to learn a lot about being respectful to customers. Came here during the evening time. Place was very busy and smelled very good. I'm not from the area so I was really excited about trying something new. I would not recommend coming to eat at this please if you are African American. I gave the cashier my money and unlike the others he held it in the air as if it was fake and did not do the other customers the same way. It made me feel discriminated against. I normally dont leave reviews but tonight was ridiculous. Not only did you leave me and another customer waiting in line at the drive thru for nearly 15 mins with no one else in line. Even after I asked you repeat my order back to me you still gave it to me wrong. I came all the way home to find this out and wasnt wasting my time driving back down again. I didt complain the entire time I waited and I still tipped your workers. Let's face it, this is a decent place to eat and I come here quit a bit because theres not much to choose from. Giving me your granny dollars for your lack of concern for your customers isnt going to get them to come back. I spent $20 on a meal I couldnt eat....again.
