Stopped here in the morning with my wife to grab a "quick" bite. My wife ordered an empanada and a teqeno and I ordered a plate navideno. I then asked to see how long it would take since i knew it could probably take long or they would not have it ready but the cashier said a few minutes so I ordered it. Over 30mins later a waitress brought the food. The food was cold so I gave the plate back and asked if they could warm it up and they tried but it was still cold. I then returned it and left. Usually their food is good. Not the best, but traditional in Doral. Today i ordered an arepa to go and a side of fries. I tried the tropical arepa, which was ok. A little bland, but the again, queso de mano is very bland to my liking. So its on me. Now, the side of fries I think is a joke. In the picture you can see how many fries I paid for $2.99. I get more fries in the small pouch at McDonald's. I'm not sure if it was a joke or simply that's the portion they use. Either way, I felt like I got robbed of $2.99. I got two arepas. I got the pabellón and the reina pepiada. I loved both, but I think the pabellon would do better if there was some sort sauce that accompanied it. I ordered the pabellon arepa and it was probably the worst arepa I've ever eaten in Doral. the filling wasn't horrible but the arepa itself was hard and flavorless - I believe they served me an arepa that was a day or 2 old and the masa wasn't seasoned with salt. on top of that, it took 20 minutes to prepare and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. I took one to go for my girlfriend as well (venezolana) and she was also disappointed... she definitely makes better arepas at home. I've eaten at the Panna in Weston before and it was better so it sounds like it could just be this location. I won't be back here as there are plenty of much better Venezuelan restaurants in Doral. read more

The 1 star here is for the food quality which is good and the missing stars are for the price , this place is a total rip off , I came in to their new location by the Baymont Hotel in the back of the TD Bank on 107 and had one soda and one arepa $10 ... what ! It should be $5 dollars for the arepa and $1.50 for the soda to make it fair since the cost is probably less than five cents to make it, and 0$25 for the soda , this economy does not stand for things like that, if they continue charge in such high prices for fast food, I guarantee you this place is not gonna last 2021 read more

Food is not good, service needs work. We had to tell the staff to clean up tables several times before they got to do it. And the cashier did it and a very bad job at it. In addition they got my food order wrong, I explained that it was incorrect she was insisting that I was wrong. I ask for GRILLED Chicken I got shredded beef then shredded chicken, not what I ask Grilled. I was tired of waiting for them to fix the problem so I just eat the rice and beans and dump the shredded mess chicken. They will never see me there again. read more

I'm not the type of person to ever write reviews, but this place really took me by surprise and not in a good way. I placed a catering order for Mother's Day. The food was fine and the whole transaction process went smoothly. I was called if I needed sauces for the food at an extra charge. I said fine. I get to the place. I picked up my food and I wasn't charged anything (thinking it was charged to the card I paid initially). It's almost a week later and I get a phone call today 5/19/23 that they forgot to charge my card and they need to collect the money. At this point it's really embarrassing from the company to even call me and ask me to pay $ 9.50 for sauces. Something that should've been done at the place and time because it's their responsibility. The fact that they had the audacity to call me almost a week later asking for money.... What is that? It's definitely not professional. And it's not about the money, nor that I couldn't pay for it. It's the embarrassment the place has given itself. If I was the owner of the place and my staff forgot to charge for something. At that point I will just void the $9.50 transaction. Why? Because it was a mistake done by the staff.
