Here is my encounter from the last experience. They had my car for 1.5 weeks and it sat there because they didn't have the parts.

If I could give them negative stars I would. The absolute worst customer service I've ever received. I've dropped my car off three times and all 3 times it has been held for almost a week. I would call on day 5 and ask the status and I was told "the part for you recall hasn't been delivered yet". Then why would you allow me to make an appointment and why would you not tell me this before I drop my car off? Please do yourself a favor and take all the pictures and videos of any rental they give you. They tried to charge me for damages on the car that the car previously had and tried to blame it on me. The service girl even said "well the original photo shows a glare in the area, but no damage, but now there's damage". That doesn't even make sense. We had hardly driven the car because I didn't want anything to happen to it. Then they made a comment we had the rental car too long. I'm sorry, what? I didn't want the rental. I wanted my car that had been sitting on your lot for a week while you waited on a part to come in that I had no idea about. The final straw was we paid them to put in a new battery. I got an alert on my phone when my car was FINALLY ready saying "low battery". Come to find out they changed the battery 3 days before pick up and someone left an interior light on all weekend, which drained the entire battery. I wish I was kidding. Dealing with Grapevine Ford the last 2 years has been an absolute joke. Zero customer service and zero care for time constraints or hurry. If you don't have the part, don't let people make appointments. There was no need for my car to sit up there for 5 days when you didn't have a part in the first place and then try to accuse me of car damage that was clearly visible on all photos taken beforehand.

It's been issue after issue with this place. The first time I used Grapevine Ford to service my car the service advisor seemed very dishonest and pushy. I wasn't planning to go back, but then I was having issues with my car not sensing my keys (both sets), and Grapevine Ford was the dealership I was familiar with, so I went there. I was told they needed to replace the batteries on both sets of keys, which I paid for. The car still did not sense the batteries and I had to go back multiple times until they realized the key batteries were not the problem and they finally fixed the issue - so I paid for the battery replacements for nothing. Don't ask me why I went back there again, but the next time I had my car serviced I found a random car part in my car. I emailed the service advisor a photo of it and he said he didn't know what it was doing there and that it wasn't for my car and to toss it... Ummm, just a little sketchy... The only reason I went back again the last time was for a recall repair. I wasn't informed I'd need to leave my car for days, which was a challenge in itself, and then so was the communication about when my car would be ready. It was also a battle to get a hold of the service advisor so I could get a ride back to the dealership to get my car once it was finally ready. Once I got my car and was driving home I noticed that there was a check engine light on. That wasn't there when I dropped it off! So I bring in my car to fix one thing and they break something else?! Luckily I have a friend who worked for Ford as a mechanic for years and he was able to look at it and tell me that they left the intake air temp sensor disconnected. We were able to hook it back up, but if I hadn't had his help that would have meant more waiting and possible charges at Grapevine Ford. How do you not check a car before you give it back to someone? The engine light being on is kind of a big deal! The customer service line for making an appointment is, also, the pits. I've been given incorrect information many times and once I was told that a service advisor would call me back about scheduling the recall repair on my car, but I waited a week and no one called. Then I called and got a hold of a service advisor and they were confused as to why someone did not schedule me in the first place. Go to a different Ford service center or mechanic - this place is a mess!

I took my truck in to get the Zaktek wash, and I was very disappointed. I scheduled my truck to get cleaned on a Saturday morning at 8am. They had my truck the entire day. I picked it up at 5pm. When I received it, I noticed that the outside was cleaned (except for the runners), but the inside was not. My wife has Zaktek for her Armada and the folks at Texas Nissan of Grapevine do a magnificent job every time. I'm pretty sure I'll be taking my truck there going forward.

My baby. Grapevine Ford service took great care of her.

I brought my daughter's Mercedes-Benz in to have the sunroof repaired. We were given two options: replace the sunroof for approximately $3,000 or permanently close it for $630. We chose option #2, specifically clarifying that the sunroof shades would remain closed. Since we live in Texas, having the glass exposed without the shades is a major issue because of the heat. We were told there would be no problem with keeping the shades closed. After waiting three days, we picked up the car and noticed a scratch along the edge of the hood, which was not there before. I can only assume something was placed on the hood during the repair. More importantly, when we complained that the sunroof shades were left open, we were told that they didn't know the shades could not be closed once the sunroof system was disabled. My question is: if they didn't know this, why wasn't this explained to us before we authorized the repair? We would have made a different decision. Unfortunately, the staff's response was also very rude and unhelpful. The only solution they offered was to reopen the sunroof, leaving it broken as it was before the repair. We really miss the previous management.

Every time I brought my car in, Scott assured me there was no leak and that my car was simply getting old. So he just changed the oil, and suggested that I brought my car back in every month for more of the same. When I ran out of oil only 1000 miles later, I took my car to Midas, who promptly discovered the leak, and couldn't possibly understand how "the other shop" didn't see it. They botched their first fix, but corrected their mistake when I came back two days later for a routine check, as per their recommendation. I did run out of oil again after driving 1000 miles through the mountains with a clogged catalytic converter and an absolutely packed cargo, but everything seems fine now. I'd been happy with Grapevine Automotive over the years, but this particular incident (along with a handful of other mistakes) makes me question the service I received that entire time. If I still lived in Grapevine, I would no longer have them service my car; therefore, I cannot in good conscience recommend them anymore.

Upon arrival I was greeted and we agreed that with $ 5000 my car will be fixed and didn't bargain regarding pricing at all. After two week the car was ready and before accepting the job I did check the car and I see the engine light of the car is on!!? The owner which has no clue and history of running a business as mechanic shop tells me that don't worry I know people who can pass your car through inspection!!!! I said noooo!! This is not the way it works. We make a deal I have paid you what you asked I this needs to be fixed. He said that my mechanic say the issue is not related to you radiator fan and etc .. that you brought your car for!! And the added extra charge for changing the O2 sensor , after two weeks I noticed there is an oil leak under my car in the parking lot garage, and took the car back, owner says it not related to your accident that oil filter leaks, which all were related because my radiator was punctured, well there it is another charge for oil filter washerin two week so have to bring the car back because the temperature gauge is above normal!! He too much rely on his mechanic since he purchased the business from previous owner with the mechanic and he wants to keep the mechanic for this reason against my workweek another charge for oil filter washer also my head lights which were replaced had too much blind spot and whatever they to fix I t failed and I did accept. After another two week that started to make a squeaky noise which I had to have the mechanic to listen when I was moving the car when was Turner off , and found out when were the front bumper and radiator the did not secure the battery harness when fixing the front of the car. Making the story short with all the problems with paining and more the going back to the shop after 12 times to the shop even on time which the owner told the mechanic to check my vehicle and he said he can't because he didn't like me since I was making the right comments!! I did gave it way even the owner Ray made a comment the he will buy me a complimentary gift so I forget all the issues that happened. The assistant manager (Ashton) is well aware of all pain and suffering that I have been through. I did thank them and refused to ask for any thing. The last word of the owner was that I knew that you were trouble from the beginning (I wish people who runs a business had a clue what they are getting in). So so today after two years I just wanted how respectful they are and I had a problem with my other car, called the owner and he said I don't have time this week (we are fully booked)and I since it's not and urgent matter it can want for next week and he never responded back.. I did test this business for two times and they failed. I do not recommend this business since they are looking for easy and lucrative jobs.
