Quite apart from the ample portions of tasty breakfast dishes with both Latin and Greek accents,…read morethis place is alive with a widely varying social atmosphere as people from across Denver's socioeconomic community fill the room with buzzing conversation and interaction. Reasonable prices and great service add to its appeal. Ample parking in back. It is a gem!

When the downtown diner is full, you know it's probably a good place. Breakfast Queen was quite…read morefull -- we had about a 15-20 minute wait -- but it was more than worth it. FOOD: Decent coffee. Menu had a bit of every classic breakfast dish -- eggs and meat, omelets, skillets, burritos, benedicts, tater tot bowls, battered brekkies -- as well as an array of burgers, sandwiches, salads. I had a Spanish skillet which was well-made, though the jalapenos made it a little one-note. My wife had the corn beef hash, which looks to have been made in layers on the plate and was very, very good. SERVICE: Despite the full house, service was snappy and pleasant. We felt neither pushed nor neglected. AMBIANCE: Serious diner vibes -- and not ironically chosen retro, but "yeah, this is a diner and would have looked this way if you'd visited in 1954." Noisy (but not deafening), bustling (but not overcrowded). The customers were of all ages, from families with small kids to seniors to teen-twenties in hoodies and tattoos. That's another sign of a good place. TIP: Huge free public parking lot behind its Broadway-facing location. Makes the downtown Englewood place a lot more accessible. NET-NET: I loved it. I'd go back here any number of future times, if only to try some of the other dishes.

We came for lunch and got some wine to start- rose was crisp and cold. I got a Greek salad for my meal and I loved the marinated feta in it! I also added chicken for some protein. Staff was helpful and attentive. I loved the overall feel of the place. Very aesthetic and relaxing. The market: great spot to grab coffee and explore local items. I ordered a latte and it hit the spot after our meal. Such a cute spot- check it out!

The Feedery is the featured in-house restaurant where you can have your traditional sit-down dining experience. Indoors or al fresco if you're lucky! The menu leans more on the Mediterranean side from the owner's heritage, though the menu isn't constrained to one type of cuisine. The freshness of the ingredients speaks volumes, considering they grow many things in house. If they don't grow it, they source it as locally as possible. CHICKEN SOUVLAKI ($16) // Chermoula chicken, tzatziki, pickles, lettuce, onion, feta, hummus, roasted peppers. They plate this gyro very carefully. Don't let the lettuce on top fool you, each ingredient is layered for a reason, and when you bit into it, each ingredient shines. The chicken is tender, the veggies diced perfectly, and the kicker is the accompanying zippy sauce. Other items I really enjoy are the Italian Sub, Crispy Potatoes, Cheeseburger, and Colorado Grain Bowl. Also, they make a damn good side of fries. Crispy shoestring fries reminiscent of a big name fast food chain. Except you'll feel good after you eat these! From the grab and go market and coffee shop to the second story greenhouse, there are so many incredible things happening here as each season passes. I'm a big fan of the ownership and management. They really care and are genuine with a "community first" mindset. If you're lucky enough to grab a meal on the patio with a cocktail in hand, try to tell me you'd rather be somewhere else during your meal. You can't! Kudos to everyone involved at The Feedery and Grow + Gather.
