The guy working inside was super friendly. I ordered and the burrito came out instantly. The burrito itself, not good. It seemed like a gas station burrito that someone had microwaved for me. Small. Cheap, yes, but still small. If I knew that was the burrito I was going to get, I would have snagged a Santiagos burrito from a gas station. read more

This little drive-up is one of my favorite places! Great coffee (Kaladi), great burritos (Milagro), and then there's Rocky himself. Rocky is one of those people you like immediately. He always takes a little time for some conversation - not too much because there's usually a line, but he treats everyone like a friend. Rocky's is closed Monday - sad, 'cuz i can't get my Monday coffee and burritos there, but Tuesday's worth the wait. And it has a great mountain view while you're waiting in line. Very cool spot, and totally non-Starbucky. read more

I miss the old owner. Went today and the new employee didn't seem interested in making my drink with care or precision. It was made quickly but he didn't wait for the milk to settle after being steamed and just poured it. There are too many closer better coffee shops to come here anymore, which is sad because the old owner was so sweet. read more

I've tried this place twice now and the burritos are just so disappointing. The customer service is exceptional, likely why they've stuck around so long. I can't decide if they make these burritos or order them, but I think they should find something more flavorful and with actual texture. Coffee was wayyy too sweet and mild as well. read more

Back again!! This time we met Bubba's Grandmother. The Co-Owner. So friendly. Chatted with us while getting our order. Just loved the warmth of the little place. Again had tamales (cheese/Chile), and a breakfast burrito for my husband. Had the delicious Chai Tea (Made with ALMOND MILK) Washed everything down fabulously. We didn't even make it home. I don't think there are many friendlier or happier owners than Rocky. I came here around 10a on a Wed and Rocky was almost fully sold out of this burritos for the day. When Rocky found out it was my first time at the place, he gave me samples of a chai, another drink, and the smoothie which were all great, especially the chai! After Rocky told me the remaining burritos, I chose a Huevos Rancheros and the Chicken/rice/chile burritos which were both really good. Personally, I liked the chicken more, but the Huevos Rancheros was good too. Would definitely recommend this place to any locals or visitors! read more

No better way to start off your day talking about skiing and fist-bumping with a total stranger, but it happened. Live pretty close to this location and have been wanting to stop in and try their burritos for a little while and glad I did. I got hooked on these style breakfast burritos when I was working downtown and really like how the tortillas are steamed and soft and the green chile is hot and spicy. This guy Rocky what an absolute gentleman! We show up near sell out of burritos and he immediately just started giving us samples of different burritos and drinks. Found this little gem via Yelp. Shout out to Yelp and all the yelpers out there! My coworkers tasked me with finding a local restaurant to find breakfast burritos. Rocky's is Located at the corner of Pierce and Coal Mine Avenue behind the liquor store. This is drive through and is very easy to navigate. Rocky (owner) offers a variety of breakfast burritos. Each burrito is handmade and stuffed. They are a hearty breakfast burrito so bring your appetite. Rocky has each wrapped and ready to go within minutes of ordering. Other offerings are coffee, lattes, chai latte, and other drinks or smoothies to help you start your day. Rocky gave me two samples to try as it was my first time through. He gave me a fruit smoothie that was awesome - fresh, cold and just the right mix of fruits. Next he gave me a type of chai latte cold drink. This was amazing. Really amazing hospitality- when we say corner we mean corner. It's a drive through only with the nicest guy in the world. TIP: 1) They are closed Mondays (this is me crying real tears - I've driven over many a Monday only to see the light off.) 2) If it's getting near closing time, call Renee or Rocky to see what they have left and they will hold something for you. I've been here numerous times where they have just sold out before I got there. Also went once near closing time and got a freebie burrito with my order, you never can tell what may happen! 3) You can't go wrong with any type of order here. Not your traditional breakfast burrito, the burritos are small and remind me of Taco Bell burritos. The burritos are very well seasoned but I think they are pre-made for the entire day. I was in a hurry to go to work and I forgot that the McDonald's at Coal Mine and Pierce in Littleton was shut down. There are even "squatters" living in it. I have been to this place before. It just a small shack behind the Liquor Barn at the same intersection. It's called "Rockys Corner." The owner real name is Rocky Cordova. He has to be most friendliest guy I have ever met!! You know you going to have quality service. Don't drive a block further south to Angies restaurant. Rockys burritos and coffee are amazing! On Fridays he does barbeque. For a little shack behind a liquor store - you would surprised. My rating is 4 stars and not 5 - partially because they are not open on Sundays or Mondays. But Rockys personality is awesome!!! read more

The Monte Cristo was really good, they make it with their French toast and a lot of powdered sugar. I couldn't eat the whole thing so we took it home for later. The caramel apple pancakes were the star of the show! We ordered them as a side dish and would definitely do that again to share. They were so sweet and so flavorful! I'm still thinking about them to this day. I'll definitely go back and order those pancakes again and maybe get a side of hashbrowns or bacon to go with it. The staff was so sweet always checking on us and making sure everything was up to par.

We both enjoyed our breakfast. The bacon was the perfect crisp for me. The hashbrowns were homemade, not from a freezer. We each had enough left that we combined it into a box to bring home. The service was great. Payment is at the counter when the meal is done. They do have a sign that "cash is better." That way they are not paying the credit card percentage. I paid with cash. I would recommend and will most definitely be back.

This past visit I asked to substitute the jalapenos for onions; I was charged $2.50! We also asked for more chips for the table and were charged $1.50. I understand food cost, so I do understand that charge. HOWEVER, I can go to any grocery store and purchase an entire 2lb. bag of organic onions for $2.89, so $2.50 for what looked like an eighth to a quarter of an onion was a bit steep, and if you are going to charge for SUBSTITUTING onion should you not refund for taking the jalapeno off? *This place will no longer be in the Mexican food rotation; there are better places out there where one doesn't get nickel and dimed for average at best food.

I highly recommend the steak bites, the shrimp toast and the banh mi board if you had to start with anything. I learned that they have a similar concept at the Golden Triangle where Q's brother is the owner. It's on my list though I am partial and loyal to this location. May all your to-do's turn in to ta-da's! Peaky Peak makes me look forward to tomorrow's coffee.
