Mike from Grayson immediately gave us peace of mind. He was kind, honest, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. What really stood out was his honesty. He actually recommended that we not do termite treatment because it wasn't necessary. He pointed out that what I thought was termite damage was actually wood rot caused by malfunctioning gutters. That level of integrity is rare and instantly earned our trust. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He answered all of our questions thoroughly and took the time to educate us instead of trying to scare us into expensive unnecessary work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As first-time homeowners, that meant a lot. Once everything was completed, we genuinely felt relieved and much more comfortable moving into the house. He quoted us a very fair and reasonable price for remediation and pest work, which included cleaning and disinfecting an affected area, repairing screens, setting traps, and multiple follow-up visits. They even gave us a slight discount for using them after the inspection. Nick Grayson, the owner, and Domingo came out on a Saturday to help clean and prep the property because our movers were arriving Monday. That alone says a lot about the company. Nick mentioned he's been doing this for over 20 years and it absolutely shows -- no BS, no scare tactics, no upselling, just fast, honest, high-quality work. I joked that he must really hate pests at this point and Domingo happily replied that he's been exterminating for over 30 years. They arrived on time, ready to work, and got everything done quickly while still being extremely thorough. They also treated our home and property with a lot of respect during cleanup, which we really appreciated. Since they treated the property, we genuinely haven't seen a single insect. The treatment was also pet safe, which was really important to us -- we only had to leave the house for about an hour or two. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have a dedicated office person coordinating scheduling and relaying information, which made communication smooth and easy throughout the process.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]That said, these guys are clearly in high demand and now I understand why. This company does not care about your health, your property, or any damage that they cause! Less than a week before termite fumigation, mold was found within my closet, and there was water damage in half of my bedroom as well. A mold remediation company came out and removed the drywall and put up containment areas in the bedroom and closet. I called Grayson termite and pest control and informed them of the situation and the containment areas that needed to stay sealed, to which I was told it would not be an issue. I returned home four days after the fumigation to find that they had opened up both of the containment areas (as well as my bedroom doors), EXPOSING MY ENTIRE BEDROOM AND ALSO THE REST OF MY APARTMENT TO TOXIC MOLD SPORES! I sent them an email telling them how upset I was and informing them that due to their negligence they had exposed my home to mold. I asked them to please be more considerate of people's health in the future. They couldn't even be bothered to respond to my email. It is now 3 months later and I have been stuck sleeping on a couch, with no access to anything in my bedroom, because I'm a low-income student and haven't been able to afford thousands for remediation of all items exposed to mold spores in my bedroom. A recent air quality and surface sampling showed, "highly elevated levels of fungal spores" throughout my bedroom. I also now have to move because of this, as it's been affecting my health. I just moved here in January, so now I have to pay moving costs again this year, as well as increased rent, and I have to trash a lot of my belongings that cannot be sanitized. In addition to the mold issue, I also informed the company that I have a lot of health issues and chemical sensitivities, so I was told to stay out of my place an extra day after fumigation, and was told that the windows would be opened to air the place out before I returned. I returned home and no windows had been opened. The place smelled awful, my eyes burned, and I had respiratory/sinus issues. It took about a week for the chemical effects to wear off. They also left on every light in my place, which I just find rude, as I had to pay for 4 days of constant electricity when I wasn't even home. Due to the severity of the mold exposure and them opening the containment areas, I will now have to take legal action, which is something that I really did not want to do. It is very disturbing that this company cared so little for my health (and belongings, and finances) that they chose to open sealed off containment areas after being informed of the situation and telling me it wouldn't be an issue. read more

Really odd company. Told them that we saw two spots with potential termite activity. The dude came to inspect one spot and was ready to leave. I had to remind him to check the other. Then he said the quote would be available on Tuesday (appointment on Friday) but we never received them after a week. Called twice to ask them to send quotes but nothing was sent. They did a very good job. We were refinancing our home and needed a "clear" termite inspection/report. This company was recommended by our loan officer and realtor. They were prompt, professional, and explained what they were doing. Turned out we needed some outside boards replaced and treatment. Had a handyman come over to fix my front door and he noticed that there was a termite issue around the window next to the door. I called Grayson and they were able to schedule a free inspection right away. The inspector came in on time and confirmed there were termites around the window area. We asked if he should and could inspect the rest of the house, and he asked if we saw any other termite droppings/infestations ourselves. We told him we didn't know because we weren't really sure what to look for, and he said that he didn't need to inspect if we didn't see anything. We insisted he double check just in case, but he declined as there was "no need to", and went along his way. We called a different termite company (Cal Termite) for a 2nd inspection the same week, and they came in and thoroughly looked through our whole house. They pointed to us in person that there were 7 OTHER AFFECTED areas aside from our front window. They even climbed into and checked our attic, which was affected as well. If we had gone with Grayson, we would've faced worse repercussions and wasted a lot more money down the road. I'm glad we did not move forward with them. read more
