Top tier dining in Madison. The bibimbap has been my favorite for years. Farm to table ingredients, thoughtful dishes, and a great atmosphere with a lovely view. If you go on a weekend, be sure to get a reservation!

Had a reservation and got sat almost immediately. Cheese board was not bad, a little overpriced. The fish fry and bimbimbap were just okay. Overall, the restaurant is nice but I would not go back.

All the food was incredible. We also ordered the Cesar salad, housemade strozzapreti, and the chefs burger. Cant wait to go back and try more of the menu.

I came here again, with some friends, and one of us is vegetarian. Our server offered her a vegetarian menu which was greatly appreciated. We loved the interior decor and the large windows that gave us awesome lighting. Service was prompt and our water glasses were never empty! Food was delicious!!! We also ordered a mimosa flight. The tart cherry was definitely the best tasting flavor out of our flight and we loved it.

Graze is a stable downtown. Blend of WI pub food with a korean and sometimes Spanish twist. Love their desserts, I think dinner is just okay, but I really enjoy their bunch. Dumplings were great and this one sorta cold brew cocktail was great.

What an absolute gem of a spot. Every single employee seemed genuinely happy to work here and the service was OUT of this world. The location is so fantastic but the menu is really something else. There really is something to satisfy every craving. My table ordered quite an assortment of foods. I got the chicken and waffles and ... WOW.... What a great Asian take on the classic chicken and waffles! All of the plates looked absolutely terrific. I got a mocktail and it was very solid, as were the cocktails as well! The ambiance is cozy but feels moderately upscale (not in a scary way)! Kent was out of this world and so friendly with us! They were out of a couple things but his suggestions were great and he was just a really friendly person! Great great great spot!

Delicious eclectic farm to table food. Got the tofu bibimbap and fam got the burger and chicken tenders and fries. Everything was so fresh and good!

While wondering around downtown Madison, we passed by Graze a few times and finally decided to swing in for Sunday brunch...and we are happy we did! Graze is a local eatery that focuses on fresh-made, locally sourced food and drink. For brunch, we started with a few bloody Mary's and then dove into the food. I went with the Korean Fried Chicken Honey Biscuit with fries and my buddy went with the Loaded Hashbrowns. Both meals were cooked well, and delicious! The fried chicken was crispy, well breaded, perfectly fried and coated in that amazing sauce. My only gripe is the biscuit. The biscuit was great taste wise, but the way it was cut with the bottom being too thin made it unable to be picked up and ate as a biscuit. I ended up eating ugh with a fork and knife. The space itself is gorgeous. High ceilings, dark colors, wood accents, industrial seating, local art and massive windows on three sides looking out onto the downtown streets. Service was great as well. The bartenders and food runners were helpful, friendly and pleasant. Overall, wildly impressed with Graze. Definitely on my list for my next trip to Madison!

I love Graze so much. The menu and atmosphere are perfect for a date, a friends time out or a work lunch. My last visit, I had the Japanese egg salad sandwich because I'm a fan of egg salad and I was intrigued by the Japanese style. It was soft boiled with halved eggs and absolutely delicious. It also came, in true Japanese style, with little sides of pickled kimchi and I think radishes, along with an amazing salad. The green tea I ordered was the perfect complement. The menu at Graze is so thoughtful and tasty. Highly recommend!

This location is beautiful - sits right next to the capitol building and is amazing during the day time and night. The waiter mentioned that all the food is sourced from their local farmers market and we definitely can taste how fresh everything was! We had the graze burger and the bibimbap (both amazing), but our absolute favorites were the fried cheese curds (we had them elsewhere during our trip to WI but we especially liked these ones), pork belly on the grits, and the Basque cake (the waiter said the chef went to Spain to master it and I don't doubt it! Paired with the sour cream ice cream and cherry compote it was perfect). The cutest date spot for us, and would come back with a bigger group too!!

Graze has a beautiful location right outside the Capitol and the glass walls really add to the experience. The food was good, but I was expecting better with all of the good things I've heard. We would have loved more sauce with the bibimbap and generally felt that it was just good enough to satisfy a craving. The vodka pasta was also very tasty with the sausage, but overall nothing special. Our drinks were great!! I had the sunset cosmo and my boyfriend got the daily lemonade and spiked it per our server's recommendation. Our server was so nice and offered lots of recommendations! I would definitely come back

We walked in on a Thursday evening with 10 people and asked for (seating, ok to split us up). They were gracious and able to seat us at two nearby tables with a very short wait. They were also able to accommodate individual bill requests and provide wonderful service. The location is on the capital square. It was a very inviting space. The menu is somewhat small, but very well done. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. I would highly recommend the bibimbap bowl. I had the spicy tofu and it was very mildly spiced.

After a day of Pokémon hunting around downtown, our family stopped in to see if they could accommodate our group for brunch/lunch. The hostess was fantastic. She was able to squeeze us into a booth. Our server was friendly and accommodating. My husband and I started off with some tart cherry mimosas that were fantastic. It is a nice twist on an old favorite. The Smashburger was delicious. They had some great options for the kids too. Would love to come by again for dinner to see what other options they have.

We were a little disappointed in the wait because there were some empty tables around, which showed that Merchant was not extremely slammed, but we wanted to give benefit of the doubt. Fried Cheese Curds tasted alright. We probably got the unlucky batch though, because halfway through eating them, we had dime-sized cheese curds. It certainly didn't feel like we got a full appetizer size of cheese curds because of this. I think typically the smaller cheese curds are at the end of the dish, but here it felt like we had it for 50% of the dish. The Merchant Burger was alright, but nothing to wow my senses. The black pepper aioli was delicious though, but it felt like that was what was saving the burger. Not pictured was the Floral G&T drink, which tasted delicious. Overall: giving this place 3 stars because it wasn't amazing, but it was OK. The interior is beautiful though, but food and service were below our expectations.

Great Dane Pub has become one of my favorite spots in Madison for a variety of reasons from the drinks, vibes, service and community support! Situated on the corner of Doty and King in downtown Madison, Great Dane is a welcome sight for any visitor or local looking for a chill spot to have a solid drink, tasty bite and/or a good time! The pub is one large space, but it is separated into a few unique areas. One side is quintessential pub with a long bar, lots of dark woods, and a good sized dining room. The other is more of a pool hall vibe where you will find the other side of the bar, several pool tables, lots of TV's, high tops, darts, etc...We have bellied up to both sides of the bar and while I like both sides, I prefer the vibe of the pub side. They have a fairly extensive food menu with several bar/pub classics such as wings, nachos and burgers. But they also offer a good variety of sandwiches, bowls, salads, soups and even tacos. While we are normally here for the drinks, we do enjoy the cheese curds, wings and poutine! Speaking of drinks, they always have a great menu of house cocktails that is constantly updated for seasonality. I have had several iterations of cocktails and since I visit a few times a year, I always get to try new seasonal cocktails and beers! Service is always stellar here, no matter what side of the bar you are on. Welcoming, friendly and helpful...every time! Overall, I am an absolute fan of The Great Dane Pub!

My husband and I both had salads and the bowl was too small for the salad but it was a decent salad I do wish the cheese was sprinkled on top as it ended up going to the bottom of the bowl. For an entree I had steak frites. Fries were solid and the cooking of the steak was good with the charcoal but it didn't have much flavor. The chard on the side was also good considering I've never had it. For dessert we had the valentine special chocolate cake and again it was good but nothing super special. We didn't stick around the bar too long but enough to get a winning pull tab. I would come back for the bar tenders they seemed chill.

The menu is filled with elevated pub food, a few classics and then a few twists on those very classics. Come hinge, because the menu is carb-driven, so be ready to eat! To start, we went with the poutine, because why not! The fries were crispy, gravy was velvety and the curds were firm, yet melty enough for a good cheese pull! For our mains, we both went sandwiches. I went with the Celtic Burger, which is their standard burger with added caramel iced onion, whiskey bacon jam, Irish cheddar and a garlic aioli. The burger was good and cooked well, but it was less impressive than I expected given all the goods they added to it. While the aforementioned additions sound like a flavor bomb, it was still fairly one note in overall flavor. It was still tasty, but again, not as expected. My buddy went with the corned beef sandwich. He enjoyed it, no major issues! I did appreciate that exchanging fries with fried curds was an option, especially after loaded up on fries as a starter.
