Last night I took my 2018 Mini Cooper to Grease Monkey on Quebec. They told me they couldn't work on Minis and take it to the location on Holly and County Line. When I arrived, I was greeted by the nicest young man. So respectful and kind. I asked him if they would look at my Coolant Tank and give me his honest opinion of it's condition while they were doing my oil change. He said he would tell the other service techs. Josh, the assistant manager, came in and gave me his honest opinion which I greatly appreciated. (Mechanics can be some of the MOST dishonest humans to walk the face of the earth.) He even suggested I take it to another Auto Shop that he knows who would not try to rip me off. It took them less than 30 minutes to do my oil change, top off my liquids, take a look at my coolant tank, clean my windows, and take my payment. Pulled in after work, drove right up. Immediately greeted by the staff. Asked me what I needed, just my regular 5K oil change. They gave me a list of options I went with Mobil 1 Super Synthetic since I do a lot of commuting for my job. I noticed my Tacoma does run better using synthetic oils. They were also kind enough to check my tire pressure as well. I waited and observed them in their waiting room. As long as I'm here I decided to do my tranny and differential fluid as well. I have been going to a Different Grease Monkey for the past 6-7 years. I noticed this one the other day and it's more convenient to my house so I decided to check it out. They are all owned by different owners so you never know (plus you have to re-enter all your information with them, etc. as they do not share computers). Service was great! Very friendly and quick. I hate to give bad reviews but I just can't give a good one from my experience today. The employees were friendly and respectful so I will give them that. They were not trying to push services on me. I suppose my oil change was fine. The problem was that the waiting area was so filthy. When I pulled up I was the only car and all of the employees were just sitting around so I do not believe the waiting area was messy due to them being too busy. It also smelled pretty bad in there. Additionally they did not check my tire pressure and my low tire pressure light was on when I got back into my car. They apparently did run the vacuum on the floor of my drivers seat but they put the mat back in all wonky and I had to clip it back into place before I could drive off. read more

A shout out to the guys at Grease Monkey on Holly and County Line. I had just purchased a used truck and the computer told me it was time for an oil change, so I stopped in. I had barely walked across the parking lot and into the grocery store when the manager called. He said they noticed the oil on the dipstick was clean and when they got the truck over the pit, the filter was new. They checked the vin online and saw the oil was changed just before I bought it, but the mechanic forgot to reset the computer. They topped off the oil and reset the computer for free. When I said, "Thank you", the manager said, "We take care of people" Yes you do! ..and you made my day by being honest and helpful. I'll be back. read more

Ima keep this real simple/short Went in for a oils change 2006 Ford Fusion Everything seemed cool but it wasn't. Left was driving down the Interstate on my way to my 4th of July vacation and my car broke down. Took it to Audo Nation Ford because greasy money didn't answer when I called. Then later called me back sayin my engain was blown and the estimated bill was 10,795$ to repair all of the damages. Then went into Grease monkeys and informed Steve Bahl the Manager of the situation. Said he would get right on it. Called him back the next 5 days leaving Messages with other staff members for him to call me. Never did. Finally called the store off a random number Steve himself picks up so I say " hey what's going on" he said there was nothing he could do about it so he would send it off to his insurance. Blah blah blah Anyways eventually called me back 2 days after it was suppose to be reported to his insurance feeding me some bull shit story about how his insurance wouldn't take liability and told me himself to simple take them to court. After about calling 30 lawyers in the Denver metro area that all charge $250 a hour I see he played me because the only two option you have is pay 5k for a lawyer and end up not getting your car fixed because the lawyer bill is so much. Or go to small claims court and settle for $7,000 or whatever and still not get your car fixed. Because of this I have lost my job and I'm sure much more is to follow Thanks Steve for Completle Fucking me Over !! read more

Very friendly staff, they answered all my questions and weren't bugged by me watching them while they worked on my Blazer. Terrible experience here! Went in for an oil change and drove the vehicle home after. Next morning, there's a huge puddle of oil under my car. I drove the car back into the same store and told them there seems to be a leak. The tech told me they would look. About 20 minutes later a different tech came in and just handed me the keys and said nothing. I asked what they found, he said that they saw about 6 cracks in my oil pan and it needed to be replaced. My car only has 56K miles on it, there's no chance my oil pan was cracked. They told me there was nothing they could do and sent me on my way. My car never leaked once, and the day I get my oil changed, all of a sudden there's cracks in my oil pan?! I eventually went to a different location and the mechanic told me it was just the wrong gasket on the plug. Either way, this store was nothing but a hassle with no help from staff. read more

Got my oil changed here the other night as it was due and, w/ a storm brewing, I wanted fluids topped off and radiator coolant tested. All was good following the service until I took my car into local dealer today for some different service. They informed me that oil filter was leaking. I told them where I had just had oil changed and they said that they have seen numerous similar issues as GM uses after market filters and seals are not seating properly. They said they had repeatedly informed GM of this. So I had dealer change oil again and brought receipt back to GM. To their credit, they credited me the cost of the second oil change. But then, to their discredit, they informed me that, in the future, if this happens again I should bring it back to them as having oil changed at another place voids their warranty. Um, sorry, they had one chance to do a simple oil change correctly and I won't be back. They also denied defective filters so all should be aware that it doesn't look like they will be replacing them any time soon. read more

I asked for a Full Service Oil change which is posted on your board as $39.99. Adam asked me what kind of oil I would like and I told him 10w30. He then asked me if I had a preference between Valvoline, Pennzoil or Quaker State to which I replied I did not care as they are all the same. He said ok and he would have the car done in a few minutes. When he came back and told me the car was done, I presented him with my $5 off coupon from my Entertainment book. He told me my total was $59.67, AFTER the discount. I asked why when it clearly states $39.99 on your board and he said 4 wheel drive was more. I told him it was a rediculous amount of money for an oil change and it would keep me from coming back. After I paid and drove off I thought about it and was decidedly not okay with this so I went back to the store. I told Adam that I was not okay with the additional charges as they were not posted and he did not inform me up front that there were any additional fees for my type of vehicle, at which point he pointed to a card on the counter and said "It is right here". The card says $3.00 for 4x4, not $15. (Regardless of which, he should not assume that everyone reads what is laying on your counter) He also explained to me that the 10W30 was additional because you do not carry that in any of the brands he offered me. He offered me those brands after I told him 10W30 and, again, he did not mention any additional fee for it. He asked me if I wanted to speak to his manager and I told him I would be contacting the owner to which he replied "You should do that". He made no effort what so ever to correct this nor did he apologize at any point. The owner's info is on the desk with his phone # and his email stating if you have any concerns to contact him. I sent him an email when I got to my office the same day. That was 3 weeks ago and I have never received a reply from him. I have always trusted Grease Monkey and while I have never used your store before, I went there because of the proximity to my office and the brand reputation in general. The lack of customer service in your store and Adam's lack of interest in keeping a customer definitely cost you this one. read more

I really appreciate the work I had done recently at this store. I needed a new plug for the oil pan, and for it to be tapped down with new threads to hold the plug in. This store didn't have the machine to do that, but they directed me to another store close by who did the work free of charge. I appreciate that that they took care to let me know the problem and didn't didn't send me away with a faulty plug that would have fallen out. Plus everyone was very nice! read more
