My oil change and tire rotation was super speedy and even though there were cars ahead of me I was out in about 35 minutes. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The only thing I was not used to is that they usually go over cost before starting the service and this location did not do that so it was $145 which I wasn't necessarily anticipating. So impressed by this store! Came in for an oil change and the manager, John and his tech found that the work just don't by Firestone on the rack and pinion and radiator system was half-as**ed. They took photos and wrote down on the invoice what was seen. John said to have the manager at Firestone call him if he disagreed. I brought the van back to Firestone and they investigated. Grease Monkey was correct! And Firestone ended up replacing the rack and pinion and other issues completely free of charge. I was impressed with Grease Monkey's thoroughness, honesty...and focus on the customer rather than making money. I will be making them my number one choice for oil changes and other issues moving forward. Highly recommend!!! read more

I stopped in today at Grease Monkey on S. Lemay and Oakridge to see if they could fix my windshield wipers. I was afraid I might need to get a whole new system put in from a dealer. Instead, they tightened a bolt and it works fine. I said I might need a new wiper blade, but was told it was fine, even going back to check and make sure. They could have sold me blades, but didn't. I have been going to them for several years now , and they are always friendly and very capable, never minding how big or little the job is. It is a pleasure to do business with them. They never try to sell me anything I don't need. I feel like I'm costing them money! read more

Grease Monkey is always my go to for oil changes, but this location is special! I would encourage all the ladies to go on the first Wednesday of the month for Ladies Day! It was a really cool experience to see women working on the cars and teaching you everything. Went here because I needed an oil change and had time to kill before my daughters cheer competition. I was surprised to see nothing but females and 2 friendly dogs. They were fast and pleasant. They were very upfront about pricing. I live in Lakewood so I don't see me coming back in the foreseeable future but if I'm in the area and happen to need another oil change, I would come back. One employee (could be owner or manager) made me really nervous. Even though they are conducting their customer contact outside, he is not wearing a mask or social distancing. I was wearing my mask and kept trying to step back from him, but he kept stepping toward me. At one point he was 2 feet away and talking right into my face. I couldn't concentrate on what he was saying to me because I was so worried about all the COVID he might have been breathing on to my mask. On the plus side, they did get my car in and out within 30 minutes and I think they did a good job on it. OK, what can you say about an oil change? Well, I wasn't pressured. And it was a quick service. And I didn't get steamrolled with 50 different things I should take care of immediately as in the other major chain oil companies. The service workers were friendly.The workers were all women. Office manager was not too friendly and didn't seem too thrilled to help me. When checking me in for service I was asked a question about my vehicle and when I responded that I thought his initial answer was correct the guy said in a condescending tone "oh no. I know I'm right. I just looked it up with xxxx number..." Price was $40 more than other service centers in the area for conventional oil and tire rotation. I was told it would be done in around 30-40 minutes. When I showed up an hour later the same guy as before says "well, you were gone a while" as if it was a huge inconvenience for them to hold onto my keys for 20 minutes. Overall not a business worthy of more than a two star rating. Will not be going back. read more

Love the service we received. They are honest and friendly. We took our vehicle here to get the a/c recharged. We were given a discount because the recharge didn't work and there is a bigger issue with the a/c system. It was a very nice offer from the owner even though they did give us the full service.
