Really great oil change close to where I work. I stopped in during rush hour and was able to get right in to one of their three bays. No pushy service like you get at chain oil change stations - instead, the lead tech evaluated all the fluids and systems in my car to let me know what could be done on site and what I could take back to my mechanic. Service was fast and efficient and came in right around what I'd expect to pay for an oil change on my car. Overall great experience and will be back. read more

I came here when , it was Lube pros. Then they we're great. I received a $15.00 off coupon from Mobil 1 , so I brought my Honda Pilot here for a full service Oil change. About a week later , I decided to check my oil , it's 1 quart down, the tires are 29,34,27 and 24 lbs. all around. I love this place!! It was fast, efficient and I was offered a discount without even asking!! They have several mechanics working on your car at once almost like a pit crew! Estimated time of completion is visible during the oil change and everyone was knowledgeable and checked and filled everything!! I always go to this location even though I moved. These guys are impressive! I've been to plenty of quick lube places but this is the first time I stopped at Grease Monkey. I pulled in the lot to see when I could get an oil change. Before I could park, a guy inside saw me and waved me into the bay. When I pulled in he said, "Hi. It'll be 15 minutes." He wasn't kidding! (I was hoping for 45 minutes because there's a Dunkin' Donuts next store... ha ha). So I sat down and noticed they were washing my windows and checking things like wipers and lights. About 8 minutes later Joey called me over to my car. He had a detailed print out of the services due for my vehicle at the mileage it was at. He told me about several that were required according to the charts, but said he checked and they didn't need attention just yet. Then he mentioned other services that did need attention now. He told me WHY they needed attention and WHY attending to them now would save me problems later. He also gave me a reasonable price for each service and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. No high pressure. Once my car was finished he put my information in the system, told me I could get my receipt emailed to me if I wanted, and I was on my way. That was the best (quickest, most professionally handled) experience I've had any a lube place. I'd definitely go back. read more

So I went there for a (gasp) oil change this morning, and they were busy. All bays were occupied, and ... this is where it breaks down. There's no direction in the parking lot/queue as to which lane one should go to. I pulled in, saw some people sitting in their cars in some rando parking spots (clearly in a line of some form), so I tried to park to figure out where I should go. As I was doing so, two new folks pulled in to phantom lanes outside of the bays. Ugh. So I walk in to ask where I should go, and unlike other quick-change places, there wasn't a person there to greet you, help you along your way, etc. I saw where this was going and bailed. For all I know they do good work. But if you see it busy, you might want to come back at a different time because the one thing I don't need from an oil change place is for it to be a "thing", worry about cutting in front of someone, etc. Someone helping out in the queue and making sure things are smooth would be helpful as well. read more

These guys suck. I miss lube pros. Came in for "early bird" special because I live down the block. Four guys working on my car, not a single one knew how to work on cars. Brought my wife's car and my two other cars here on previous occasions and all they do is try to upsell you. I thought jiffy lube was bad but for the same price I paid here you may as well go to jiffy lube, at lease they are more courteous and professional. They should invest more in teaching their employees how to work on cars instead of mailing out annoying and useless coupons. Will never step foot in here again! I went today, it was a normal day to have a change oil. I waited in line because I thought it is a first come first serve. The guy with a long hair and fat is very mean and wanted to service another person after me. I mentioned that I came first and he tried to make some alibi and became harsh and mean to me. This place is supposed to have a quality high standard for their service and for their customer. They don't want my business and I don't want your business. I will spread the word to my family and friends so they won't bother to come to this place because of its horrible employee that can't provide a quality service to their customer. I hope the managers will make necessary action to that employee. And why I can't give a -1 star review? read more

I'm not very good at keeping up on the maintenance on my car. However when I go to Grease Monkey I feel completely at ease as they do a wonderful job. They are very thorough with each step they take to keep my car running great.They let me know when something may need replacing with out pushing products on me to buy. Any questions i have they can answer or find out for me. My favoriote part of the change of franchise (from the former name Lube pros to Grease Monkey) is that while i wait they have complimentary popcorn and a variety of beverages! Bonus! I have been going to Grease Monkey (previously changed from Lube pros) for years and my experiences have been great each time. Went in for a normal oil change, bit the upsell to replace one of my 3rd stoplight bulbs (the stoplight inside the car in the back) They jiggled the light and it worked again, didn't reinstall screws, and still charged me for the full service. Lots of oily hand prints all over the back trunk deck. I didn't even get the bulb they charged me for. Anyway, decent place for an oil change, they vacuum out your floorboards and refill your washer fluid. Double check any ancillary services they manage to sell to you. read more

You may want to verify if the work you paid for was done before you leave. I know of a senior citizen who paid for work that was never done. That person found out after bringing the car to a trusted mechanic for different repairs. It's a shame when the auto repair industry already has a bad reputation, this type of practice just makes it harder for other auto repair shops to keep their doors open. I was searching for a new place to get my oil change and this place just happened to pop up on a google search on places near my work. It was on my way home and convenience, very easy to find, right next to Walmart on Rand. I called first to ask prices since I had a coupon and wanted to see what the amount was to come off of. The guy was very pleasant, asked my type of car and told me about ladies day as well on Tuesdays. I ended up going there the next week and they were very thorough, explained what they did and what could be fixed in the future, when they say full service that is what they mean, topped off fluids and checked to make sure everything looked right. The only thing that I could say is they are a little pricey compared to some other shops advertising $20 oil changes, but I would rather pay for quality, not to mention their waiting room has free beverages in a little cooler as well as coffee.
