Literally the worst jiffy lube ever. It took over an hour and a half for an oil change. Only one person was working. The guy was clearly incompetent and didn't know what he was doing. Every time I've been to this facility I'm happy I went. Whether it's an oil change, replacement of a light or change of wiper blades the service is superb. The technicians are attentive & do their work promptly. I believe I get value for the cost & I'm generally in & out in under a half hour. Pulled in front of door and told immediately to stay in car and pull in. While in vehicle, I was consistently interrupted while addressing phone calls from my customers. I expressed that I'd like to wait in waiting room as normal. Over the last ten years, across the Chicagoland area no Jiffy Lube has ever had me wait in the car. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! Requested an oil change for my wife. We've been here many many times and had a great experience up to this point. We thought everything was fine after the oil change was done. After a week we noticed that she was LEAKING OIL out of her car. I called this business and asked if I could bring it in for them to check it out, they said no. It was leaking so much that we were concerned about the engine catching fire so we got it towed. When we took it to the mechanics they said the oil plug was finger tight and not reinstalled properly. They were glad we took it in since there was only a CUP of oil left in the engine. My wife and I have 2 kids and the mechanics said the engine could've caught fire, while my wife was driving. As a result, it lead to over $300 worth of damage. We also found out it was the 4th car the mechanic shop had in to fix the same issue due to Jiffy Lube negligence that week! I was very upset but I know that mistakes happen, but they should have corrected it since it wasn't our fault. When I called this location and asked if they would take care of it due to it being their fault, I was told the mechanic was a lair and that I was wrong. I've never dealt with a more rude owner in my life. Take your money elsewhere, GreaseMonkey guys in MP are nice and have been helpful. read more

Went to get the oil changed on my 2022 F150 and the cross threaded the oil plug and caused it to leak while also destroying the oil pan. Instead of bringing it to my attention, they tried to hide the error by putting two washer seals on and sent me on my way. I started noticing oil spots everywhere I parked so I went back. After of an hour of them trying to get it to stop leaking I went to the dealership instead. They denied any fault and caused $2,200 of damage. STAY AWAY. read more

had my first oil change at this location brand new 2023 SUV, left there went to Costco and then came straight home backEd my car into the garage and as I was unloading my car, I smelt smoke, thinking it was coming from outside of a neighbor come to find out there is smoke coming from the front of my car. They left a rag inside I open the hood burst into flames had to grab the hose real quick and move my car out of my garage before it caught on fire as well as my house!!!!! Be aware that Jiffy Lube at 2 West Rand may not be the best place for an oil change. My daughter went Saturday and the employee berated her for not maintaining her car and possibly causing permanent damage. She does regularly maintain her car. After saying these things he proceeded to offer to buy her car. Also, they charged her for a synthetic oil change which was not necessary. She had a $10 coupon and the invoice has a $10 nontaxable charge which she doesn't know what it is and then the $10 credit for the coupon. So, the coupon did not lower the bill. She paid over $80 for an oil change. She will not be going back. read more

I suck at car care. In terms of things I make time for in life, unfortunately my poor cars have never been at the top of my list. And I've always been a commuter/adventurer that puts on a ridiculous amount of miles every year. Over the years I've stopped into this location a few times and gotten help from various amazing people. Today I decided I was going to get my oil changed, but I got stuck at work for way too long and by the time I got there it was 6:30. I felt bad because they close at 7 and oil changes take a bit. Went in for an oil change & tire rotation. Figured it would take an hour, took Almost triple that. They won't update you until it's all over, they will try to sell you on everything else though. We just had an amazing experience with assistant manager Brandon. Bought a used car yesterday and took it to jiffy lube for an oil change and check fluids. While there we were told oil was fine and didn't need changing yet, fluids were fine but we were having problems opening the door to the car from the inside. Great story. On 9/17, I went here and paid $78 for Jiffy Lube's Signature Service. Oil light went on when I was driving on the highway in a big store with hail. Got home and then found a huge oil spill where my car was parked which I get charged up the wazoo from the condo board to get cleaned up. The garage I took it to said that Jiffy Lube neglected to put the screws back in after the oil change. Nice. When I complained to them, they said they'd give me a deal on the next service. Never going there again. Bad customer service. Terrible manager. Idiot mechanics. This little incident ended up causing me stress, grief, and a couple hundred dollars. read more

I am greatly dissatisfied with the April 2014 service and pricing received at Jiffy Lube #324, Market 20 located at 2 W Rand in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Without permission, the store removed my glove box and took apart the dashboard molding on the passenger side to sell me a replacement cabin air filter. The sales process was obnoxious. Worse yet, the car was reassembled incorrectly. The molding was not clipped back in place correctly, a wiring clip was detached and I do not know where it belongs and philip screws were not fully tightened. I know this several days later after I researched and corrected the problems. I came for an oil change, not to have my car messed with by inexperienced attendants. Second, I had a 15% off coupon that was not honored at the location. The technician tried to explain that the coupon was only for the "signature" service, but the coupon I had did not contain such an exclusion. It ought to have been honored. The coupon bears a code of EBO-15. The "Jiffy Lube Pledge" is NOT honored at this location. I have lost trust in this franchise location and do not intend to return there for servicing of any of my several vehicles. Others in the Mount Prospect, Illinois market should be aware that they may be less than satisfied -- and may like me be overcharged and underserved at Store No. 324. This store is apparently owned and operated by Heartland Automotive Svc II Inc. I have no confidence that the work performed was up to standards or that it was fairly priced. read more

I had my oil changed at this location yesterday. My wife was out today and the oil light came on. She took the car back to Jiffy Lube - they started to put oil into the car. She called me and asked me to look at the driveway to see if there was oil. There was! Literally a pool of oil!! A pretty new driveway with a pool of oil. The attendant at the store offered to have someone come clean the stains, which hopefully will work. However, no other compensation was offered for a defective oil change for which I paid $75. I find myself incredibly unsatisfied with the level of customer service offered by Jiffy Lube. read more
