The vibe was completely different than the dealership, as I felt like the folks at Max Automotive genuinely cared about getting me taken care of and figuring what the issue was with the vehicle. They also understood that at over 20 years old and nearly 200,000 miles, I wasn't going to perform any heroics for this car. The whole process went well right up until we got to finance. In finance, Jeff handled the paperwork. He processed it quickly, but toward the end he lied to us about the factory warranty. He said all the electronics in the car -- the computers and cameras -- were only covered for three years, and used that to push a 10-year/100,000-mile extended warranty for $4,000. I told him the factory warranty is 5 years/60,000 miles. He insisted it wasn't. We didn't buy the extended warranty. I called Hyundai afterward and confirmed the bumper-to-bumper coverage is 5 years/60,000 miles. I also found out you can buy the same Hyundai warranty from any dealer -- I found it for under $2,000. When we took delivery, both driver's-side wheels had curb rash, which was documented in writing on a We Owe form. I had to call five times before Maddison in customer relations got back to me. She told me the wheels would be repaired rather than replaced, and that there would be no warranty on the repair. They filled them and painted the rims to try to match the original finish. It's not a good match, and there are spots where the paint ran. Once Larry H. Miller had our money, we clearly weren't a priority. We love the car, but we'll be avoiding this dealership for future service and purchases.

Do not pay for a detail here. Got my car back this morning after my husband waited for almost 3…read morehours on it, and it's a nasty grease pit. So slippery slimy and smells like a grape vape. They clearly use the cheap stuff that is NOT supposed to be used on leather and literally every area of the vehicle. I'm talking under my window switches, door handles, glass, floors, etc. the ground under the gas and brakes made my foot slip even. Such a total waste of money. Now I have been wasting my own time in this heat wiping everything down with wet microfiber cloths and dry ones to try to get this crap off of it and after 45 min I'm only halfway through! This is unbelievable. Never been so disappointed/disgusted in a detail before. Btw I don't blame the worker either I'm sure this is exactly how they were trained to cut corners. Here's some pics of all the dirt they left behind in just the first two side door windows and greasy finger prints that are everywhere because it's so bad. Not to mention they never cleaned any of the mirrors, windows, nor bothered to wipe off the hard water stains on the entire back hatch door. Nothing worse than paying someone for something you'd be better off doing yourself. EDIT I just finished the other half of my car and it was so much worse than I thought. Never shampooed the carpets or the back area. Never vacuumed the back or inside the doors. The entire back was covered in dirt from these dust storms and they never cleaned it. I have no idea what they did with this car for 3 hours but this was such trash.
