They were not actually able to assist me with my problem because my car has a electronic pressurized transmission and it requires a very expensive machine and so finding anyplace but a dealership was seeming to be nearly impossible but the Guys at Grease Monkey not suggested a shop but told me who I should ask for to sent me to the only shop in town that didn't have a 30 wait to get into and who would have the know how to fix my car my specific vehicle. Best experience at a car service place ever. From the outside it just looks like a common oil lube place. My Ford dealership was trying to screw me over on a transmission issue so I looked up the top transmission/oil place on yelp. Grease Monkey was #1. I came in on a Saturday. Mike was working the front desk and was super knowledgable. I asked them about the transmission issue that I was having and scheduled an oil change. They tested the the part that wasn't working but instead of charging me, they looked it up on the recall list. I was just at Autonation Ford and they said my warranty expired so it would cost me to have it fixed. It's a recalled part so it should have been free!! Mike printed off the recall page and told me exactly how I need to approach the dealer to get it taken care of. They went above and beyond a for a typical oil change. They all seem to be great guys working there and Mike is a rockstar behind the desk. I highly recommend them to anyone. I also learned they are a full service mechanic and not just an oil and transmission fluid place. I will def be taking my truck there from now on! read more

If you've ever been inside a mechanic shop you know how crooked they usually are. This shop changed my mind on that. I got quoted $300 from pep boy$ to install a power steering belt. I brought it to the guys over at Grease Monkey and was out of there for $120. Not only that but the mechanic would explain everything he was going to do to my car before he did it. He wanted to make sure I knew the work that was being done to my car. I have a highly modified supercharged car which is hard to find a mechanic that knows how to work on cars with aftermarket parts. Super fast friendly and prompt service here!! What they say is what you'll get, the technicians are very upfront with your time and what is needed. The girl upfront is very courteous and super peppy, and on her toes. Not like some other places, where the front can't communicate with bay areas proper information on your vehicle. She is very knowledgable with cars, makes and specs and even saw her in the bay working or helping some of the mechanics. I thought that was pretty cool!! The interior is very well maintained, with cold air and shaded from outdoor heat. They also provided complimentary cookies and bold water bottles for those waiting in the waiting area!! Went to these guys today for my second visit. They were awesome when I first went there so I went back today. Everyone who worked there was very polite, and even though I was just having them look at something, which they were not charging me for, they topped off some fluids that actually cleared up the cause of my concern. I am also quite thankful that one of the mechanics there taught me how to read the age of my tires. I now know that a tire purchase I'd made (at a different shop at a different time) was never carried through, leaving me with tire problems. It makes you realize how truly important it is to have a shop that you trust, especially when you know nothing about cars! Their prices are fair, they've gladly taken me twice with no appointment, they're always patient, and both of my interactions with them have been great since they're always super nice. I'm grateful! In town for a while and needed an oil change before a long road trip. Arrived about 10:30 in the morning and all bays were occupied. I was told it would be about 20-30 minutes before they could get me in, that worked for me, so I picked the service, left my phone # and walked across the street to Walmart for two items. Wow, my experience at Grease Monkey was not at all what I expected. My headlight was out and needed to be replaced. I emailed in advance and was told to come on in. I pulled up into a parking space and was immediately greeted by one of the mechanics. I explained what I needed, and he directed me to the waiting area inside. I grabbed a cup of complimentary coffee, thinking I would be waiting for a little bit, as the garage was already filled with cars being worked on...but I was mistaken. Another mechanic went out to my car (still parked in the parking space) to check things out. He came back in less than five minutes and said, "It's all done.' I was amazed and impressed. Hot coffee and a headlight replaced in a total of 10 minutes--and a price that was much less than I was expecting. I almost spend nearly $2000 I didn't need to here. On top of what I overpaid for, I was told I needed additional work with a quote of almost $2000. After realizing the part they said I needed had been replaced less than a year ago, I took it in to Big O for A. a second opinion, and B. the part was still under warranty there. After Big O tested said "eroded water pump", they said it was completely fine. Not only did the guys at Grease Monkey try to completely rip me off, they tried to do so by trying to scare me. Upon the "diagnosis", they told me that if it wasn't replaced immediately, it could total the car, and that I should drive carefully. Don't go to them. read more

This place is amazing to say the least! I was told by several other shops that I was I need of a new power steering pump (parts and labor run about $560.00) Grease Monkey came in just under at $540.00 on there quote. The amazing experience comes in here.... Come to find out the only problem was a 3 inch long 1 inch piece of rubber tubbing connecting several components. Its what was making the noise the whole time! Thomas the head mechanic fixed it at no charge and told me to "have a nice day" I could have been really taken advantage of like the other shops tried to do to me. But I was not, instead I got the most honest & noble service from a mechanic shop I've ever received. My $540.00 is still in my pocket & I will be having a happy holiday season! I was in there yesterday 11/26 and the Manager Robert and the assistant manager Mike was so nice to me. They both were truly very nice. I use to go to the one on 17 ave and bell but this one was closer.
