As soon as he started the haircut, I found out Jay had never touched any non-black hair! It was so obvious! He could not even hold a scissors! We work a lot of crazy hours so we are limited on time. I Yelp messaged the business asking to make a next day appointment and they replied instantly! Got the perfect time slot and made it clear the time limit my man had. The next day, he was seen instantly for his appointment and was out on time just as promised. Yet he had a great experience! And his fade was near perfect! The owner is amazing and so helpful. He even followed up with us a week later to make sure we were happy with the service. This is our go to now. They interior is awesome with a billiards table and TVs to kill wait time but honestly, just message them...and they will really work with your schedule! I walk in and ask how much they tell me and then say oh we'll just cover the roots. I said that's fine. I left my mother there. I went to get a haircut at my barber . I don't get it Cut here because they just got worse and worse . Anyways, I come back and they ruined my mother's hair color she's blonde with gray roots. They died her roots brown. And when I asked what happened . They gave me the excuse that oh her roots cannot be dyed blonde it has to be dyed brown. This is a lie and an excuse. So the owner steps in Ruth and confirms the BS. She reiterated and said it's my fault because I didn't say to paint the roots blonde. Why don't you just paint them black or purple or red? Since you're deciding her hair was blonde and she just needed the roots touched up. They are argumentative. They don't accept responsibility. She designed it herself and it was/is the only special-occasion hairstyle I have ever had that didn't end up falling down before the evening was over. I have a head of hair more famously seen on Troy Polamalu (must be a Samoan thing, I guess) and it took some doing but she managed it beautifully. She's also very sweet! Other than the hair and waxing, she also does mani/pedis but not acrylics or gels. That's fine with me, since I prefer just plain polish. :)
