If I could leave negative stars I would. I have never in my life had such a terrible experience at a salon. The hair stylist that cut my hair (I didnt get her name but she was the heavier set woman with black hair, whose station is right behind the register) absolutely BUTCHERED my hair!!! I have been struggling for YEARS to grow my hair due to a disease. I told the stylist about this prior to her cutting my hair. I asked for an all around trim of about 1 to 1.5 inches. She took the scissors and cut a huge chunk of the back of my curls to "even it out" then spins me around and says I'm done. I ask her to at least cut the front/sides because all she did was cut the back. she then takes the scissors and just chops off the sides of my hair to "even it out" in like 4 quick snips. I have never been so upset in my life. There was no evening it out, no brush used, no comb. She didn't even measure the lengths of my hair to make sure they matched. Then as she made her last snips to my hair, she proceeds to tell me that SOMEONE ON TIKTOK SHE FOLLOWS cuts hair like this...... I was in so much shock that I didn't realize just how bad it was until I got home. When I did, i couldn't stop crying, my hair was just butchered. All of the length in the back just gone and the front of my hair is 3xs longer than the hair in the back. My dead ends are still there in the front along with the damaged split ends i wanted to have trimmed. I'm not one to complain and I wasn't going to say anything until I looked at the reviews and saw that she has done this to many people before and is being allowed to continue to do it!!! Someone like this should not have a license to cut hair!! DO NOT LET THIS LADY CUT YOUR HAIR FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! My sister gets her hair cut by Gerri and she always does an amazing job. If you're going to go to this location, i suggest you wait for her. I wish I had. read more

THIS IS HOW SERENDIPITY WORKS! I'd been trying for weeks to just randomly drop in to any shop I was near for a trim. I'm new to town, other reviews left me disheartened about anywhere to make an appointment, and my hair is a pretty straightforward trim. But after several weeks of desperate kitchen shears whacks, I was feeling anxious about my luck. Behold Great Clips at the corner of Green Valley Parkway and Warm Springs, and my new BFF Colton. I walked in, there was no queue, and I was seated in less than five minutes. The other two stylists in the shop were equally delightful and warm, and I eyeballed their snipping skills while Colton had his way with my locks. I can recommend the work of Thalia and Danielle too! Fifteen minutes later, Colton had revived my style, showered me with fancy product, and had me ready to be on my way. Prices are extremely reasonable, service is efficient, shop was spotless. The woman in the first chair on the right butchered my sons hair and had the Audacity to blame it on him moving. 3.5 Stars for the Green Valley at Warm Springs Great Clips. Just like the annual wildflower bloom, Great Clips are blanketing the Las Vegas valley with Grand Openings and established locations. Around five months ago this very Great Clips replaced the eye brow threading shop between the Starbuck's and Sweet Addiction. I had missed the $4.99 Grand Opening Special by approximately four months. I am no stranger to Great Clips and have had several haircuts and beard trims (more like shaves) at the location down Green Valley Parkway in the Pebble Marketplace. Being that this one is in my neighborhood and next to a Starbuck's I frequently patronize, I decided to have my hair cut and beard trimmed here. It was a walk-in visit. In similar style to the majority of Great Clips, regular customers can check-in by giving their phone number. Whether the customer last visited a Great Clips in Denver, Boston, or any other location in Las Vegas; the computer has the information about their last hair cut. When I walked in to this location, both times I was greeted before they asked for my phone number. The hair stylist read out my name and hair style preference before I followed her to the hair styling station. The upshot is that the hair stylist did a thorough job on my hair cut and beard trim the leading visit last month and the second hair stylist did a thorough job on my beard trim yesterday. Now there is one flaw. I am unfamiliar with the names of these stylists working on my hair. Although they are friendly, they never introduce themselves or gave out their Great Clips business card to request them for the next visit. There is little guarantee that the stylist who did such a phenomenal job on your hair this visit that had people complimenting you on your haircut will be working on your hair the next time. This is a flaw at the majority of Great Clips that have worked on my hair. Fortunately the majority of the Great Clips hair stylists give solid hair cuts and beard trims. One aspect of a Men's haircut that I notice missing at Great Clips is shampooing the hair. Possibly it is an upcharge from the standard $14 hair cut which to me is a pretty solid deal. However, it is the $5 beard trim that is a really great deal. This Great Clips and the one in Pebble Marketplace has a lot of the local competition beat on beard trim prices. With a beard trim and haircut the bill comes out to $19 before the tip. This is a solid Great Clips that is convenient to the residents in North Green Valley such as myself. My return factor here is a 4.5/5. read more

This great clips is at best so far. I go to many great clips and they establishment is so far one of the best in Henderson area. I got dry scalp when I moved here and any other great clip I went to don't recommend what I should use or not to you. But this establishment, their barber does. I like it. I got a pretty bad haircut by Mariah, my hair was longer on one side when compared to the other, and it wasn't until I got home that I really noticed how bad the cut was. I was in and out in about 10 minutes, which is fine if the haircut is good I guess, but I wish she would have taken some more time to really ensure the haircut was okay at least because I can only really do so much in the moment. There's a 50/50 chance these guys will ruin your hair. I've been to this location multiple times, at least once every couple of months I get a barber that'll mess up what I asked for. Recently when I went, I asked for a small trim (I've been growing my hair out for about a year), and they chopped off a large portion of my hair, losing me about 5 months of work growing it out. I'm not sure how you mess up a "small trim", but I would have understood if somehow they didn't understand what I wanted, but the thing is I showed them a PICTURE of what I wanted, and they still completely messed it up. This was my last straw, not sure why I kept going back to this place, as they somehow keep messing up my haircut even with me showing them pictures of the cut I'm looking for and it literally saying what I want when they pull up my account. Don't get your hair cut by the larger lady with the longer black hair. Below is the pictures of what I showed her, and the cut she gave me. (I honestly don't know how it could have been screwed up this badly, just shows the level of inexperience this location chooses to hire) let her know in advance that I was growing out my hair and even asked her why she was going so high when she was cutting (couldn't see what she was doing cuz it was in the back), but she told me it "oh it's fine I'm just evening it out". Can't believe I'll have to wear a hat for the next 5 months because the people at this store don't know how to give a trim. They were even making excuses saying that's what I asked for, even though I asked for a "trim" and literally showed them a picture of what I wanted . These people will mess up your hair! Don't get your hair cut from the girl with the long black hair. I've been growing my hair out for about a year now, I go in for a trim, and they chop off a huge chunk off in the back. Now I have to cut it all off and completely restart, I told them that I wanted a TRIM in the back. I even showed the girl a picture of what I was trying to grow it out to, and she still decided to ruin the cut!! I would understand that the directions i spoke to her may have been unclear, but I showed her a picture of the length I was growing it out to, and she still decided to ruin it! Went to take my 2 year old and the lady with pink hair said it was a liability for him to sit on my lap during the cut. She said to come back during the week if he needed to set on her lap. Guess they only have liability issues on Sunday. Will not be returning to the location. Back to the one near pebble and GreenValley. About a month ago I had a haircut which was terrible. When cutting around the ears some how on the left side took a huge chunk of hair as she was talking and never said anything to me at the time until I left got into my car put on my glasses and found that she had really messed up my hair. I was so mad that she could not admit that she over did it and apologize before I walked out. Instead she acted like nothing happened charge me for the haircut. Which is just terrible. I went back in and pointed out the issue they apologize sarcastically and by saying have a nice day at the end what kind of services or concern is this. This new location is awesome. People are friendly and give good hair cuts. Although it's for a limited time, the haircuts are $4.99! You can't beat that. I've paid more than that for a bad haircut. I would've given this place at least 4 stars but upon checkout the gal who cut my sons hair was not very nice. I took a pic of my son getting his haircut and apparently someone told her. She assumed the photo had her face in it. Instead of asking me, she gave my son a big earful about not wanting to be in a photo. I completely understand that but she should've been woman enough to ask me instead of wait until I paid to tell me something. I showed her the photo eventhough I felt she was rude. It did not have her in it. I gave her a tip anyway because she did do a good job on Joshua's hair. Receipt says her name is Alexis. She did do a good job but her customer service lacks. Worst haircut I ever had and the woman barber... don't know her name was caustic, rude, angry and demeaning. My entire hair cut took less than 3 minutes, hair was cut uneven all over the place, not cut at all on top, or around my neck. The barber tore the protective cloth off and said 'You're done!' I was gutless and humiliated and even tipped her... Damn I'm so ashamed. I register a formal complain with their corporate office. Went in, my hair was about 6 inches below my bra, walked out it being just below my shoulders! Ask to take 2 inches off and do layers. My layers are so uneven!
