I found Bree through Instagram and although I was hesitant of making this appointment at first, her portfolio on ig persuaded me into messaging her and I couldn't of been happier. Since it's been years from my last (professional) hair cut( I had been "DIY"ing my hair, especially since Covid-19 and it was a mistake on my part. Do not trust YouTube if you still have to go into public... especially if you still have to go to work) I noticed my ringlets going flat and losing a ton of my volume. I needed help bad. A Solano community graduate (Salon tech), I had good conversations, I was offered drink and snack while getting my hair did, and she was on point with my hair as I really like it. However, I think I was totally spoiled with Adam from Waikiki. She forgot to put a little Vaseline along my forehead so the color wouldn't stick to my skin so much after the rinse. The massage during my rinse was good but I think it could've been a little longer. Alyssa only does color and extensions which she seems to be knowledgeable about, but I was kinda hoping to find a one stop shop for doing a perm once in a while. I was pressed for time as my family and I were in the process of moving, trying to get my son's school situated, and was going to a wedding in half moon bay at the end of August. The color was completely different from what I requested and discussed beforehand. I even showed him colors of what I wanted. The haircut was also not done well. One side was cut significantly shorter than the other, and the area around my ears was cut so short and uneven that it went down close to the scalp. The overall result was very choppy and lacked any blending or consistency. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this was not even close to what I asked for. Unfortunately, I left feeling upset and unhappy with both the color and the cut. My granddaughters wedding is this week, I don't even have time to have this fixed elsewhere. Very disappointing.
