The one day I needed a haircut, I had a very bad experience and decided to start cutting my own hair with clippers. I'm a guy with straight hair, so it's easy, right? I'm not even picky. Whoever answered my call today with a heavy accent was rude. She literally said she didn't have time to take my call when I asked her the names of people working today. I told her I can't remember the persons name and if she told me a few names I could remember who it is. She replied they don't take appointments. Horrible customer service. Came in on Friday night to have my 5 year old son's hair cut. His hairdresser was an older lady, didn't catch her name. Her demeanor was extremely rude, yelling commands at me and my family the entire time. When I asked my son how he wanted his haircut, she proceeded to yell "he doesn't know, you decide." It was at that point that I should have taken my son and left, prior to getting a cut. It just got worse from there... she would not let me stand by my son, yelled at my son for his mask slipping below his nose, and didn't even ask us if we like the cut or needed any adjustments when she was "done." One star because I can't give zero. Went there to get a cut and there were two people in front of me. There were three ladies working, one was about to be getting off. The phone rang and I heard most of the conversation. The person on the other end of the phone was calling out sick. The one girl who was leaving made it very clear that she was not going to stay. So she left, no big deal, but she was unprofessional. Now two ladies, the younger of the two is now complaining about her taking her lunch. She was actually whining about it in front of all the waiting customers. The older of the two, maybe the manager or owner told her to choose. So she left. I couldn't believe it. Now there was one lady working and four people waiting for cuts. It's like nobody wanted to work. I ended up leaving after another few minutes of waiting without being apologized to at all. The funny thing is, when you check in you do so with your phone number. I never got any kind of phone call later. They never cared I left. They lost three customers that day, me and my boys. I just got a haircut from Arely and it's probably the best one I've had in a long time. I got there at about 8:20 PM and finished at around 8:45 PM and all the while she was really great and personable. That's why I was surprised when she mentioned she had been the only one in the shop all day and she had done 32 haircuts by the time I rolled in. 32! By herself! And she still had the energy to give me a great haircut and be really friendly throughout the whole thing. I was very disappointed and never go there again because of the rude Frontdesk personal who didn't let my 90 years old grandfather to be inside with 85 years old grandmother who is anxious needs help and his presence while waiting for her haircut at 9:20 am, nobody else was in the waiting area, not even allowed to give him a chair for waiting outside. I highly recommend Jeanett! I've been getting fades for many years at different places and I can say Jeanett is very skilled at what she does. I'm consistently happy every time she does my fade. She's been cutting my hair for about a year now and I'm very glad she works at this location. The other stylists are nice and I'm sure they are good at what they do, I just like to stick with what works, and she's very consistent. She is also really friendly as well. seriously? how hard is it to listen to what the customer wants!! came in, told the barber i wanted the thinners used to lessen my hair and to shave off just a bit, like half an inch, from the length/top of my hair the barber proceeds to stat saying and rambling "well if we do a 3 3.5 4 4.5 5 and so on, it will look better to blend and layer your hair" uhhhm okay, just don't take much off, keep the sides short and ill be okay she takes out the thinning scissors and says these are thinners, you know what they are, right? It's a close, convenient haircut place to go to when you need it fast. There's probably around eight cutting stations, but I've only seen two people working there at one time. You can book an appointment on line if you wish, or just walk in. They also have occasional coupons in the mail if you want a i save some money. Our whole family has been going here for a while... my son when he was in high school, I've been here a few times, and my wife goes her regularly. I went here on Monday morning and saw Terry. Brought my 13 year old daughter here to get long layers. She had long thick one length hair right under her toosh. She walked out with hair right under her shoulders and in layers! I told the lady specifically to keep the length and to cut lots of long layers. When I looked up to see my daughters hair was right under her shoulders. The customer service is terrible here. I called ahead and asked if they provide wash/blowout services. I was told yes. I then asked if they had availability and was directed to check in on-line. I did so and then when I arrived I was barely greeted. I was sat in a chair and asked "how do you want your haircut?" I answered that I just wanted a wash/blow dry and the stylist says, oh I don't do that. You can ask the other stylist if she will when she comes out. Umm ok. She walks to the back, comes back out and says, I asked her and she said no, she doesn't do that service either. Ok, why wasn't I told that when I called??!?
