I've been going to Great Clips on Copper Hill in Valencia for the past 3 years now. I never had an issue , they had great people there. However, in the past couple of visits. It is clear that service had drastically changed!! Workers seemed frustrated, trying to rush through customers and not really caring whether customers are satisfied or not. My husband just decided to try this place since we are new to the area (just bought our house last month), and he got a good cut. The people here are fast and efficient, and seem to know what they are doing. Not always the friendliest bunch, but still a good place for a quick cut. Plus, they keep your request in the computer so you don't have to tell them how you want your hair cut every time. Plus, we both like the online check-in option and you can see if there's a line, as well as, the length of wait time. Very rude receptionist/ stylist on Saturday 2-20-21 between 3pm -4pm Middle aged woman with dark shoulder length hair. Instead of saying hello how are you, the first thing she said was "you don't have an appointment do you?" I said yes and she continued to say "no you don't" I looked on the digital board and saw that my name was at the top of the list. Stay away from this place. The customer service is terrible. The stylists are rude. If you sign up online to get an estimated wait time, do not expect to get a haircut cut within that window. I signed up online at 1 PM, took my son out of school to get there by the estimated wait time which was 1:15 PM. When I arrived they said oh, that was just an estimated wait time, and on the app it kept saying that there was one minute until our haircut appointment (for 45 minutes it said this!!!). I managed to stay there until 2 PM with still no one taking my son back to give him a haircut, and I told them to just please let me know if they could cut it within 10 minutes or so because I was going to be late for work. Instead, they let me sit there forever until 2 o'clock rolled around, still with no haircut, and I was late to work. This place is very unprofessional, and I would STAY AWAY!!!!!!! We were very unhappy with Kasey, one of the hair dressers at this branch. My son has been growing the top of his hair to get a man bun for months. He is the shy type, so in front of Kasey, he asked me, "ma, I should leave the lenght on the top and not get it cut, right?", so I can help him explain to her that he wants to keep the length on top. I said, "yes, if you want a man bun, we should keep the lenght on the top, and fix the fade around the side." Kasey argued with me about the fade, so very politely, I repeated what we wanted done with my son's hair. "Fix the fade, and leave the top lenght." I stepped away, to take a seat, thinking she understood, but I saw her cutting 4-5 inches off his top. I went back to speak to her, and she said, "it is better this way, that way he does not have this part flapping on the back of his head, and I asked him, he nodded". My son is 15, but is very polite and would never argue with an adult, that's why we have a conversation before going in for a haircut to help him explain what cut he wants. I wish Kasey would have listened to her customer and not insisted on what she wanted to do. Now my son has an inch left on the top of his head and would have to wait for months to grow his hair for a man bun again. Pretty basic haircut place, $16 for a regular Men's haircut which I think is just an ok price for what you get. Walked in on a Saturday with no appointment and they started right away. Quality of the haircut is just okay, seemed like the lady was rushing, I think I can do a better job cutting my hair by myself but it takes me 5 times longer and it's a little hassle. Very unfriendly staff to say the least! So much so that even my kids noticed it. "Dad they all seem depressed and unhappy in there". Not sure why people are so judgmental! Maybe you should go to a Beverly Hills salon if you're going to be that prissy. I go to a Beverly Hills salon for my major cuts and colors usually but when I need a hair wash or a bang trim (even a hair trim) I come here. $10 sure beats the $85 whether you're getting a full hair cut or bang trim! My mom and I both started coming here To get our hair washed because the hard water at home was ruining our hair. I love Marissa. She's funny nice and does a great job. My bangs always look perfect and full. she also always gives me tips for my hair when I'm having issues (I.e. My hair has been unusually oily lately or my annoying cowlick :p ). So, usually I only write reviews on restaurants, but the service I received yesterday here demanded that I write a negative review. I've been coming here for years and, frankly, it is conveniently close to my house so I come. I really don't care about my hair that much, so convenience is premium. The problem seems to have been, I said "I don't like to get a hair cut ... because I don't care that much about my hair". Yep. I said it. I said that to the female stylist. I guess that was an insult, because I didn't hear one word from then on. I hope the stylist was the owner, because I would hate to have this employee as an employee representing my business. I mean, a great opening like that - tell me why I should care. Tell me how much a great haircut makes a man. Tell me that in my sales job, I should not look like a slob. Tell me how I will be more successful if I had a better haircut. And tell that I should come in more than 4 times a year so that I will have all the above. But nope. Nothing. Except at the end, as we stood at the register, "that will be $16". To which I gave her $20 (two tens) and she said "thank you" as she closed the cash register. Presumed that I would give here $4 tip? OK, so I do generally tip generously and I have given $3 and $4 tip for a time well spent, but not this would not have been one of those times. I just looked at her and said "bye". Lady, you just lost a customer. You will not notice, because I am only one person, but maybe you can take the note to heart and treat others better. I never ask for a specific person However the last few times I have been super lucky and end up in Claudia's chair! I know I am going to get a quality tight cut squared off and side burns even! Horrible haircut. I looked like she rushed through my hair. By the time I got home and showered and looked at my hair I noticed how blotchy it was. The girl who cut my hair must have done this on purpose. Either that or she is extremely lazy. I usually go to Apollo's barber shop where I expect to pay a little more. I will never return here. I had to return to Apollo's to have them fix the hack job I was given. I don't know what I was thinking of when I chose to come here, but it was definitely a lesson learned. Thanks for nothing. I have tried many different salons for my toddler boys and this was by far the absolute worst. Maybe we were just unlucky with hair stylist we got.. she was extremely rude from the moment I walked in, when I told her what I would like done (a simple gentle men's haircut with a hard part) she looked and me and repeated "No" several times. When I asked "why not?" I was told that toddlers won't sit still for that..my toddlers actually love haircuts and are able to sit still very well, unfortunately she dismissed this idea without even knowing this or asking about my sons past haircut experiences. She went on to ask me what length I wanted on the sides, I told her I wanted a "1" at which point she actually rolled her eyes. Maybe she thought this was too short? But it's not her decision to decide what is too short for my son, and her opinion was not asked for. I believe her name started with a "c", Connie I think it was.
