I went to get my hair cut on vacation and we walked in to dirty looks by a woman with dark hair. I wanted to get a fresh cut for mu upcoming cruise with a trim. As she's cutting my hair she goes "is this brushed" with a smirky attitude. Keep in mind my hair is thicker and wavy so it doesn't always look straight. i tell her to cut at the mid of my sleeve and she gave me a bob. She had an attitude the whole time and sprayed water in my face. And I was blinking because it was in my eyes and she said "oh cmon" I am very upset about my hair and towards the end she tried to tell me I have beautiful hair and then proceeded to tease it. I sat down in the chair for an easy trim job and as soon as the blonde lady with a New England accent approached me, I began to pray. Despite my request for a trim, the haircut she gave me is that of a 20th century German dictator, except she would've been put to death if a Nazi soldier ever received a haircut from her. She even requested to shave the portions of my mustache that aren't directly below my nose but I declined. I have had 4 haircuts at this location, the first was just ok it has gone down hill with each subsequent visit. Each time with a different person, I don't think they have a consistent group of employees. Each time they said " I only work here occasionally . I asked for a 2 length on the sides and a 2 length on top. I've been here plenty of times and I always have enough hair on top to comb it to the side after the haircut. This time however, I asked for the same exact thing that I get every single time and instead she gave me a buzzcut with the razor machine all around. Below I've posted the images. When she knew that she messed up and didn't do what I asked, she started to apologize. What am I supposed to do with your apology? Lots of talent here. Saw a girl walk out with a precision asymmetric angled bob. Very impressive. Daughter has cave girl hair that will work itself into a dread lock in about 2.5 seconds. It's a hassle to brush let alone cut, layer and style. Adele did a fantastic job. Cuts are flat rate so be sure to tip well if they do extra / spend extra time. I did! Terrible, terrible. I was giving them a try because my usual place is so expensive. I decided to try a more economical solution. I should have just walked out when instead of washing my hair before the cut , she sprayed my hair with"detangler" which was the equivalent of downy for hair. I showed her a picture of the hairstyle I wanted....which I have had several times before. She said okay and went to cutting. She was cutting very fast, and what seem to be haphazard. When she finished her version of stacking the back she then bobbed off the sides. It is like two hairstyles. The short back and bobbed sides are not blended at all. There are gaping spots where it should be blended. She then blow dried my hair greasy from the detangler and sent me out. I came home and washed immediately and tried to style it. The short inverted bob that usually takes me about twenty minutes to style took and hour and a half because I had to work so hard to hide all the flaws of the cut. Needless to say I have an appointment back at the usual salon to fix the disaster that is my hair. Do yourself a favor pay the price for a more qualified stylist. You hair will thank you. I read more
