I would give Great Divide a 2.5 rating. I arrived at 9am on a Wednesday and was seated quite promptly. My party was struggling to pull up the menu with the qr code that was already on the table. We had to wait until our waitress came to hand out a working code for us to use. Breakfast was served until 10:30am and I ordered the Great Divide Classic, which came with 3 eggs your style, a choice of bacon, braised beef, or sausage, breakfast potatoes, and your choice of toast for $15. I opted for 3 over easy eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, and wheat toast. The meal came out hastily prepared with individually wrapped butter and jam thrown on the plate. The breakfast potatoes were scorchingly hot. Overall, you get what you expect for a typical bacon and eggs breakfast. From the time we were seated to when we had gotten our meals, a little under 35 minutes had passed. Seating was fast, but ordering and waiting for our meals took way too long. Plan for a longer meal if you come. We were thankful to have been able to pay on our phones quickly to catch our flight. Definitely not something I'd go out of my way to grab again. read more

This is the best place to eat and drink in Denver International Airport. Quality: 5 Value: 5 Service: 5 Ambience: 5 Yes, it's an airport, and yes, everything in an airport is over-priced and sort of meh. That said, this place has consistently been delicious and the servers have been nice. Their burgers are big and delicious, they actually cook things to order, and the beer selection and cocktails are fantastic. An additional note: I had to fly through Denver several times as my sister was dying of cancer. After she passed, before my flight back, I ate here and was pretty clearly tearing up after my first very large beer. A waitress sincerely asked me if I was OK / why I was traveling, and I told her. They comp'd my whole meal, which is pretty much unheard of. It's now the only restaurant I go to here and the only airport establishment that really has a positive memory for me. I hate flying, as in I will visit any bar in the airport before takeoff. Many airport bars have overpriced drinks and mediocre good. This is not one of them. I had a lamb burger and a few microbrews. The lamb burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Slightly gamey, but not overly so, cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the lamb. The beers were exactly what you would expect from any good bar in Colorado. The service was excellent, especially since this place was packed. If your flight is leaving soon, they will box up your food to go. This is one of the best airport stops. If you are a "nervous flyer" like me. I would definitely stop here before takeoff. read more

It is so gross, I bought wifi on the plane to warn anyone else. Throwing away after two bites of this gross - yes, it bears repeating this unkind word, gross -- minuscule and expensive wrap. Literally couldn't salvage anything, from the two fingernail size pieces of chicken inside to the glop brown lettuce to the gummy tortilla. This must be what it's like to bite into cold dead flesh. Do not ever get anything from their to-go counter. Extra sad - I've been to their restaurant in Castle Rock, and that was really good. read more

One thing you don't want to have in an airport restaurant is slow service. Great Divide leans more toward the slow side, like they're a restaurant in town and not in a location where you really, really have places to be. This wasn't just my experience: we had time for a nice chat with the guy sitting next to us because he couldn't get the waiter's attention. Nice guy: he took it better than I would have. In fairness, they were slammed. It was about 4:00, and there were a lot of customers. And, the good news for me was that I did have time until my next flight. This gave me a chance to try the bison chili and the cream of broccoli soup. The chili needed more bison, and more heat, but it it was nicely flavored. Soup was very creamy, and the large amount of crunchy croutons gave it a contrast that I liked. But, it could've used more broccoli. The long island iced tea was tasty and massive, but not very strong. I would guess you got the amount of alcohol you're supposed to get, since it was served in a pint glass. They also have their own farmhouse ale, which is much higher in alcohol than most farmhouse ales. Full of flavor, too. The menu doesn't offer a flight but the brewery does! I suggest you get the flight so you can try more than 1 of these great beers. Any time I am at the Denver airport and have just gotten off a long flight (which has been a lot recently, don't ask) I always find Great Divide for an ice-cold craft beer and one of their menu options. The local bartender - Justin - is just fantastic. Calls you by name and is always quick with a refill or a laugh. I have never had a bad experience at this bar, even when the airport is packed and there is no room to move in here. That attests to the chillness of Justin and the other bartenders! My most recent favorite is a craft sour beer, aged in barrels that give it an amazingly sweet/sour flavor that tastes like candy. I drink a lot of craft beer all over the country and this has to be in my top five. Seriously so good. Their other offerings are great too! They have some great menu items but for folks on a budget, there aren't many affordable items to choose from. I chalk this up to being in the airport where prices are always jacked up to take advantage of thirsty, hungry travelers stuck in the airport. I have tried their chili-cheese fries which were just okay. Spicier and more melty cheese / sour cream would make them perfect. I have also had their brisket grilled cheese which is easily my favorite item on their food menu. Lamb lollipops are a close second, but you will pay for those. Overall, this is a great (sometimes crowded) airport bar and grill that has amazing bartenders, great craft beers and a tasty, but pricey food menu. My wife wanted a stiff drink and isn't partial to straight up spirits...so she gave it a try. What could go wrong? In a word, everything. Served up by their master of mixology was an ice packed glass of watery brew containing aught but a honkin' fat orange wedge, flavored with faded cocoa-cola, hints of ethanol, and a heartbreaking bitterness reminiscent of the crusty dried dirt and salt that gathers in the gutters of Denver streets after the snow begins to melt. A new level of disgusting. Good Lord, what a disaster. Servers looked harried, underpaid and exasperated with the knowledge that patrons were so vexed at paying for mediocre food that was clean but overpriced. During a long layover at DEN, I had a nice lunch here. As I didn't see anyone upfront greeting customers, I headed straight to an open and socially distanced table. My hard working waiter noticed me and mentioned that I shouldn't have sat down to a not yet clean table, but both of us knew that we needed to carry on. As a bonus, an outlet was right there to charge my iphone. I ordered via their QR code, which also included paying online (including tip). Within a few minutes, my Double IPA was delivered and soon after that my chicken sandwich and fries appeared. It was all very tasty and well appreciated on this long travel day. read more

Sadly, Concourse C has very limited food options, and this place was relatively new, so I decided to check it out. The pluses: I sat directly at the bar and the bartenders were very nice and friendly. I always appreciate that. The cons: It took a long time to get my food and in an airport that's not a good thing, especially when it was just a sandwich and fries. We have been here before and this experience cemented that we will not be coming back. There is no space for bags- which is kind of crazy considering everyone is traveling. The server- Bianca, was outright mean from the second we sat down. I understand bad days, however customers should not feel like can't ask for something because the server will be rude. We scanned the QR code to pay and my husband verified it was charged to our account. Headed to our gate and get chased down being accused of not paying. Showed her the charge- which she didn't believe and had my husband come back. Turns out the computer she had looked at wasn't working properly and another terminal showed full payment. Del Vento Pinot Grigio was suggested by our server as they were sold out of the Altitude Chardonnay & it was very good! Best wine deal for a large 9oz pour at $15. We stopped in before a flight for breakfast and really enjoyed our visit however they seem new to the game and don't seem to understand that people are on tight schedules. We waited 15 minutes just to order our drinks, then another 10 to get them. Total wait until we saw our food was about 40 minutes. The food was great and so were the beers but it left us no time before boarding and we had to track down our waiter to pay. He was great but severely overloaded. Management needs to fix a few things. For airport food it was good. The service not so much. It started out good, we got seated and had our menus and water pretty quick. We ordered and got our food and that's where it went downhill. Surafel was our waiter. We didn't get refills on our water, and were never asked if we wanted anything else. We asked for our check and was told it's done on the phone. Well I won't pay on a website as too many are being hacked. We got scolded saying that he could be fired if he brought a paper check, and was pretty rude about it. If that's the case, that is stupid. Hard to be higher than one star when they close an hour earlier than posted hours. For what it's worth the bar was nearly full when I tried to dine, and of course the staff offered no apology, just blank stares. They had a sign at the entrance saying "soups, salads, sandwiches only" so seemingly even if you arrived 90+ minutes before close you still might not have the full menu available. Decent dining option in Denver's airport. We had been to one of the Great Divide locations during our time in Denver and I actually hated it (see my separate review on their page). However, I'm never one to turn down an airport establishment where you can sit down and have a drink. So my sister, brother-in-law and I headed here for dinner before our flight given we had quite a bit of time to kill. Pros: Again, it's a place to sit down and have a drink at the airport, so that gives it a bump right there. I enjoyed the beer I got, which was more than I could say for my other Great Divide experience. Waitress was friendly. Cons: The food is average and honestly takes awhile to come out. They have to have a really small kitchen. So given it's an airport, keep that in mind. If we had been in a rush trying to grab a flight, I'm sure we would have had to leave without our food. I feel like were here about 90 mins total if that tells you the turnaround time. I got a burger and fries and as stated above, it was average. I wish they gave you more fries. read more

Had lunch here while waiting for my flight. My server Granielle was AWESOME!! She was super friendly and always made sure I was doing okay. The place seemed pretty busy but she took good care of me. I will say the food took a while to come out and it wasn't quite what I had ordered (I asked for no sauce but instead I got sauce but no cheese). In the Denver airport. I can't speak on the beers because I only got food. Unfortunately, the service was really slow and I waited to be sat without anyone acknowledging me for at least 15 minutes, though someone saw me multiple times. When we did finally interact though, she was very nice. I ordered a turkey sandwich and apparently, they roast it in-house. It was a thicker slab of meat, not sliced. It was tender. The bread was just ok. I like that the cheese on it was a little crispy on the edges. Their fries were decent as well. The waitress treated us like we were an inconvenience and was incredibly rude. We finally got a table and after waiting about 20 mins, we never got service. The other waiter even looked at us and walked away. The guests sitting next to us wouldn't make room and overall we just had a negative experience. I really miss dining in restaurants. Everyone does, I think. I'm on a layover here at Denver Airport, and I was happy to see some restaurants open (albeit with reduced hours and reduced menu). The restaurant practiced social distancing, will limited amounts of guests allowed inside. Also, the employees were wearing facemasks. Seems legit. Now onto the food! I had a Fried chicken salad with shaved honey crisp apple, aged white cheddar, house granola/nut trail mix, baby arugula, honey lemon vinaigrette. It was really good (flavor wise), but I wish the vinaigrette was tossed into the salad better, and wish the portion was bigger. (Maybe I shouldn't nitpick. What a jerk! I'm just happy to be eating inside a restaurant again.) The fried chicken was a cutlet, and was cooked perfectly. Kinda reminded me of a Japanese/Hawaiian style chicken katsu cutlet. I was starving and wouldn't be at my destination for anither 4-5 hours, so I let my inner fatboy take over and ordered a Great Divide Burger too. The local beef patty was "aiiiight" and the brioche bun was served cold (I'm a fan of brioche buns, but prefer them to be slightly toasted or something), so that was kinda disappointing to me, TBH. But let me not be a Debbie Downer... the maple pepper bacon was really good! Anyway, at least my photos of the burger look legit. Right? Hopefully it makes someone hungry and helps the restaurant get more business! The waiter was really nice, with great customer service and attitude.
