Great Harvest Onion & Dill Sourdough - used to make Avocado Toast!
    Jailene H.

Purchased a dill & onion sourdough loaf from Great Harvest (Manassas Farmers Market). Used it to make avocado toast... all I can say is PERFECTION!

This place is a bread lover's dream! If you know, you know. Freshly made bread, scones, muffins, jams, spreads and many other tasty treats. They even make treats for your dog. Bought a few to share with my coworker's. They never disappoints. Love them!

Really disappointed. Went here for sandwiches, yes I understand they make bread but if you have a menu for sandwiches on your bread you should be able to make them. Paid 31$ for two sandwich combos (pricey for a sandwich in my opinion). Not to mention the sandwich I ordered was a BLAT and they tell me after I've paid they have no avocado. Switched my order and asked for cheese to be added on it and didn't come with cheese. The soda I got with my meal (bottled sprite and coke) was expired. Also ordered on the everything bread and it was not on that bread...

decent ham and cheese sandwich. At $7 it was a bit pricey for a breakfast sandwich but the bread was pretty decent.

Bread is good. But don't bother with the sandwiches. Very unorganized and taking forever for a simple order. Expensive

Not crazy about their regular breads, but LOVE the challah, pumpkin chocolate chip, and cinnamon swirl bread.

Normally I have great experiences at McAlisters. This time was not the case... our spuds…read more(potatoes) took 45 minutes to come... one never even came... the manager did apologize but this did not compensate for our experience. My spud that did come was delicious, toasted, and full of flavor. The sandwich was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet with the crunch of the chips on it. McAlister's recently upped their combo price... but it is still worth it for the quality of food you receive. I just wish the service was better this time. Nice ambiance as this location is new and has outdoor seating.

Pickles = pickling. My boyfriend had introduced me to a McAlister's in Indiana, so when I'd heard we were getting one right here in Burke (yes, I'm aware of the GMU one - I hate the Braddock road traffic light, what can I say), I swung by. This place is always hoppin' but they work that line quickly. I've been here - like, what - once a week since they opened earlier this year? I think my ordered was messed up once? (if you could hear my voice you'd understand why - no one can hear me... darn these vocal chords). So that's like a RECORD - even Chick-Fil-A has messed it up more than McAllies (and that's sayin' a lot - Chick is ALWAYS on the ball). Want my recs - current feeling the Turkey BLT. Don't sleep on the French Dip sammie (their most popular). I don't like brownies, but their brookies have me in a CHOKE HOLD.

I was very impressed with their extensive menu and offerings. I had the Italian cold cut sandwich, blackberry lemonade, and salted caramel brownie. The sandwich was a 10. Not many places offer a blackberry option, so that get extra points. The salted Carmel brownie was inhaled...so yea it was awesome as well . The staff was friendly and helpful, and gave me enough time to select my lunch. Thanks for the excellent experience today.
