We personally were not a fan of this place. Service was excellent and the restaurant itself is beautiful on the inside, super clean, and the buffet is set up easily BUT the food was not good. All the sausages tasted.. weird. I don't even know how to explain it. The waffle had crunchy undissolved sugar pieces in it so it was crunchy and overly sweet. Eggs were okay, they didn't seem cooked all the way (in my opinion). I don't like "wet" scrambled eggs and the chorizo cheese eggs were just overly salty and mushy. The eggs Benedict though was pretty good. I enjoyed the sauce, it was a little more on the spicy side from what I'm used to, but it worked for me. The Brussels though, SPICY. I'm not sure what they put on them but none of us could eat them. It was $105 for 3 adults... not worth it in my opinion. I'd rather run down the street to H‑E‑B to get breakfast foods.

I really like this place, but for the price, I think it's way too overpriced. The other thing is for a convention that has most sessions start at 8:00, a 7:30 start time isn't early enough. It should open at 7 am if we are being utterly practical. Things to note, if you arrive right when the place opens they tend to make you pay upfront. If you leisurely arrive, they let you pay at the end. Also if you arrive right at 7:30 you may find breakfast tacos already prepared and all of the juices already poured into the pretty tiny cups. No tacos and you're going to pour your own juice peasant if you come at a leisurely time. Alright, as for the stations, they have a barbecue station with brisket, pork, and ways to make tostadas or tacos depending on when you come. That part of the buffet is lovely. I did take all the brisket my little heart wanted. There is an egg section. I'm not a huge fan of eggs, unless it's from my mom or a Mexican restaurant. However, seeing how empty they were, I'm guessing they were high in demand. The juice section also has all the yogurt and toppings you could ever want. They have an omelette section. The person there is always very friendly. The one on the day I went at 7:30 was hustling for my last convention. For this convention on Valentine's day, he was very sweet, but very nervous and made a mistake and had to redo mine. I think he was new and in training, because he had the whole, "OMG this is a lot, can I do this?" worker vibe. Poor guy. He was great for redoing it and he seemed to do a lot better after my omelette so that was good. They have like a pastry section. With nothing but muffins and sweets. There's the french toast/waffle section and what they call butter biscuits, which tasted like regular biscuits. Both in the waffle and egg section you can find sausages. Of course they have a cereal/toast/fruit aisle with condiments. You get the picture. They have everything. And you know, for the most part everything tastes good. But it doesn't taste luxurious nearly 30 for one single person good. While the food is good and generally fresh for a buffet not everything was a high end, high quality product. I think they're charging resort prices, for what would be otherwise a 20-25 buffett. The other weird thing is that they want your room number when you arrive leisurely. This is the annoying part. Like, why? When we asked they couldn't tell me either. Maybe other families and patrons get rowdy and stuff? I don't know. I usually only come during my conferences or my husband's so I haven't seen too much kid activity to warrant it. I think you should try it out to experience it yourself. And maybe like me once or twice is enough. Or maybe you'll fall in love and think this is the best place ever. But you won't know unless you try iit.

Not a huge fan of this restaurant. It's a little pricey, the food wasn't the greatest but the service was decent. We visited on a weekday for breakfast so the only option at that time was to order from the Ala Carte menu. Unfortunately we didn't finish our meals completely... not because we were full but because it wasn't good.

Great Karoo Marketplace has probably the best breakfast I've ever had. They had a little of everything. I also thought it was very reasonably priced given the food and service. For myself and two kiddos, I believe it was around $60 before tip. There were smoothies, fruit, pancakes, waffles, grits, omelets, brisket, bacon, cereal bar, assorted muffins, etc.

I really hope Urban recognizes the value that talented musicians like Rodney bring to the restaurant and continues offering live music. I was watching as she was on a laptop doing inventory of the alcohol with a man calling out what was needed. Another waitress was at the hostess stand and waved and asked if we were alright and we said no one had taken our order. She went to the bartender and asked if our table was hers and she got up to come take it. We were able to change tables to accommodate more privacy. Casey was our server and so helpful. One of my family has dietary restrictions and Casey let us know the kitchen could rework almost anything to accommodate us. She also helped us get an order in before the happy hour ended. The artichoke dip well presented and good but not memorable. The old fashioned and margarita are excellent. For the main event I had the smoked pork chop. There is not a part of the dish I don't think was perfect. The chop, sauce, broccoli and slaw combined perfectly. I would say come back for this alone, but the tavern burger and chicken sandwich were great as well. The fries are crunchy on the outside and flaky inside. Grilled vegetables are an excellent side. You shouldn't leave without an order of the whiskey cake. "I only want a bite," doesn't exist. If you aren't very hungry start with dessert and add the main dish to go. We ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup, chicken and waffles, and the strawberry and cream waffle with Biscoff spread. Before I get to the food, I want to recognize the excellent customer service. Since it was my first visit, I had quite a few questions. The employee helping us was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. She walked us through all of the flight options, and let us know that everything was made fresh to order, so there would be a short wait. I appreciated the transparency, and when our food arrived I soon found out it was worth the wait. The standout for me was the grilled cheese waffle with tomato soup. The soup tasted homemade, with bright tomato flavor and generous chunks of tomato throughout. It was fresh, and absolutely delicious. The grilled cheese featured a flavorful muenster and provolone instead of the standard cheddar you find everywhere else, and the waffle itself was crispy on the outside with a perfect gooey cheese pull. My friend enjoyed the strawberry and cream waffle with Biscoff spread since I'm not a huge fan of Biscoff. I did try the strawberries and cream, though, and both were excellent. The strawberries were fresh, sweet, and firm, while the cream tasted rich and homemade. The chicken and waffles were outstanding. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned, and the waffle had a wonderful texture: light and airy inside with a crisp exterior. It was served with syrup and a remoulade-style sauce. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully decorated with fun murals, word art and nods to Round Rock. For a first visit, Waffle Love made a fantastic impression. The next time I'm in Round Rock, I'll be ordering another waffle flight, probably the same 3 selections, just without the Biscoff spread.

We were exited to take my niece to the 'unicorn place' and support a plant based shop. It was super cute and she was excited about the decor and unicorns. Came a little after 9am on a Friday, it was maybe half full, but it took about 40 minutes to get two lemon tofu toasts. I was patient until my niece was getting antsy, she finished her pastry, we both finished our mediocre coffees, still no toast... I checked and the Apple Pay time stamp went through more than 30 minutes prior. I asked staff if our toast was still coming and they replied rudely like I was being a jerk to even ask. Pagers for food when they went off were obnoxious beeping. Just give people a table number and carry it out to them. Maybe they have one little toaster and person in the back? That said once the food came, the tofu was DELICIOUS, and a large portion. We could have split it. Croissant was unimpressive as was their chocolate croissant. Macarons were tasty, but not with the signature chew that ones made with egg whites would have. $$ Two plain lattes, two lemon toasts, a chocolate croissant and 6 macarons with a $5 tip was $88. Pretty ridiculous, and I am used to California, Bay Area prices.
