The service was terrible, and the person who served us was very rude. We waited a long time, and nothing was ready. It was already 10:30 am, and everything was dirty.

Came in today at 10 waited 10 mins for it to open and the lady was super rude they said they weren't ready to open came towards us with an attitude while we were waiting. First time here and last time I requested a refund and she kept talking back. I can honestly say I will never recommend this place nor intend on coming back. I would rather have Charley's right next to it.

Great Khans isn't so great as it used to be. Prices have gone up, and/or the bowl has gotten smaller, it seems. It is impossible to stack an adequate amount of food unless you come with a strategy (like compressing your meats, letting your veggies fall onto a napkin, see tips). The noodles are heavily coated with seasame oil of sorts, causing it to continuously slip off my small mound of veggies. The sauce labels were so worn out that you couldn't really read or tell what similar colored sauces were. Usually, the cooks also have a soy sauce concoction they use when stir frying your food, but I found it rather bland than what I remembered it used to be. Overall, my plate tasted lackluster. The noodles are short cuts. I miss what it used to be... like 15 years ago.

The food was alright here. Not great, but not terrible either. It was expensive though at $18/plate. You pay at the front and they will give you a bowl to choose your noodle ingredients. There were beef, pork, chicken, lamb, maybe seafood? (wasn't labeled), tofu, vegetables, sauces, and noodles at the end. You can only fit so much in a bowl so choose your meat, press them down if you can. I listened to another review and picked leafy greens/flat vegetables like spinach to maximize space. You can stack the noodles high if you'd like. For sauce, I did 2 ladles of teriyaki sauce and it was just right. Not too bland or salty. After that, give your bowl to the chef and he'll cook it for you on a large cook area. You can ask for a bag at the end if you plan to take your food to go.

Honestly, not a good experience. The cook wasn't wearing gloves, and the grill looked dirty with black burnt stuff all over. The noodles tasted greasy and had char bits in them. I ended up not eating it. Definitely won't be back.

Ordered a build your own plate via WeBox. No noodles in the description when ordering, and no noodles listed on the lid label, but what I received was a bowl of greasy noodles with a little bit of chicken. Looks like they substituted plain chicken chow mein for what I ordered. Will not order from here again.

This particular location is not a favorite but with all of the other Great Khans Mongolian BBQ locations being closed, I was inclined to give Eastridge's version another go.

She kept saying 2 plates, but her English was very difficult to understand, however she was super sweet and nice. At the end we just did what other people were doing. Okay so the way it works if it's to go order, you can get 1 bowl for meat and veggies and another for noodles. On the other side you add sauces, then ending with cooks cooking it. You do have to tell them if you taking to go. Price if it's to go you pay by weight so be careful with noodles if you don't want pay that much. It's close to $16/lb. Actually not that bad for a plate. The place has decent amounts of tables and chairs and doesn't feel too crowded. Although place does need some updating decor or something just looks very old inside. There's plenty of parking and the restaurant itself has plenty of seating. Upon entering, staff was welcoming and friendly. They offered to explain the instructions on how to build the bowls for barbecuing. A table will be assigned ahead of time and set with water mugs and utensils. There is a large variety of ingredients to build your mongolian bbq bowl such as baby corn, mushrooms, onions, and more. In case of indecision, there are posted instructions for a sauce recipe in the sauce area. All items chosen end up on the grill at the end and returned back to you in a singular large bowl. Everything arrived fresh and high-quality, resulting in pure hot pot bliss. the sweets were also fantastic: the fried mantou+ condensed milk and the ciba were awesome! There's metered parking in front and street parking a bit further. The restaurant is very clean and modern. They have free snacks at the front as you wait. We got the basic AYCE menu and for our broth, the split with spicy and bone broth. Their broths are very good; full of flavor and depth. Love that they have a lot of whole garlic pieces in the broth that you can eat throughout the meal. My gripe with Happy Lamb is that they charge $2.99 for their sauce and dessert bar. I personally feel like access to hot pot sauces should be a given for hot pot. They should separate the dessert bar and make that an extra cost rather than bundling it with the sauces. Or for parties who opt into the AYCE option should have access to the sauce bar. With the number of hot pot places in NorCal that have many different offerings, I don't think I will be returning here.

We came in with a party of six for dinner on a Monday evening when the restaurant was relatively quiet, with only a few other tables occupied. We asked if it would be possible to combine tables so our group could order multiple broths and enjoy the meal together because sharing one pot for a party of 6 gets a little crowded, but the request was denied despite there appearing to be plenty of available space. As the meal progressed, our broth became extremely cloudy and thick from cooking. We politely asked if we could receive a fresh pot of the same broth--not a different broth, just a new pot so we could continue enjoying our meal. Unfortunately, this request was also denied. The broth flavoring was also underwhelming and started to taste the same after our first refill. What made the experience disappointing was the lack of flexibility and willingness to accommodate reasonable requests, especially during a slow service period. Customer service and hospitality are an important part of the dining experience, and we left feeling that our concerns were dismissed rather than addressed.
