The best mall in the South Bay area. The family loves to spend the Saturday afternoon, especially after the pandemic lockdown.

They should call this place the "Great Headache Mall", because I nearly got a great headache trying to find the store I came for (H&M). We couldn't find any directory signs, so for 20 minutes we speed-walked down the halls, weaving around crowds of people everywhere walking suuuuper slowly, hoping that we were going in the right direction. Apparently there was a directory sign at the entrance, which we saw only upon leaving. Great Mall obviously knows something that the rest of us don't - that we all have awesome memories and can look at a sign just once and remember where everything is. Sorry, Great Mall. I guess I failed you, and definitely not the other way around. For an outlet mall where things are always on "sale", the stores here had some redonkulous prices. $200 jeans on sale for $150! Men's cotton shirts for only $80! Because pricier means better, obviously. Fortunately, the wife and I did find two respective peacoats (a girl one for her and a guy one for me, mind you) at Express that were nice and heavy, looked great, and were on sale for around $100 each. That's what I call a fair price. But we didn't really care for the other stuff in the store. Mixed bag, the stores here are. Another thing that's iffy is the free WiFi. I was able to hop on the "Simon" network (Simon is apparently the company that owns this mall) from inside the Express store, but not outside. The directory sign said there's WiFi in the food court, but I haven't tested that yet. read more

Growing up in the Bay Area, shopping at The Great Mall was such a treat for my family and I. Everyone knew TGM as an "Outlet Mall", where many stores sold discounted items compared to stores found in surrounding shopping malls. Yes, there are some stores that sell "outlet priced items," while on the other hand many and most items are still very much, full priced. Throughout the years, this mall/outlet center has underwent some major renovation, for the better. You can find all the usual suspects at this outlet mall: Forever 21, Gap, Old Navy...etc. A huge plus is that the also have a Dave & Busters arcade within the mall. Who doesn't like to go buzzed shopping? ;) The food court is pretty basic: burger place, Chinese food, Mexican food, Burger King, etc. on the outskirts they have a Chipotle, McDonald's, Olive Garden. I would definitely recommend this outlet mall to friends and family because of the huge selection and variety of stores. The best time to come is not on weekends, and during the week from 9am-1pm. If you come outside of these times, parking will be extremely hard to find. read more

This is indeed the largest mall in the Bay Area. So get here early and expect a good workout cause you may get lost! I came here twice; once when the mall was first opened in 1994 and a couple years ago when I became a Yelper. Every time I do my "window-shopping" at the then-lively mall, flashy hustlers get overly-aggressive and carry multiple shopping bags to show off other poor shoppers that they are "livin' large ballers" and enjoy high-volume shopping. Now with the crappy economy, the mall is continuing to go downhill. The big crowd of all ages are still there, but less shopping bags in their possession. Then again, any mall is a great venue to attract the opposite sex. But still, what is the use of getting a date without any "cheese". The anchor businesses are Dave & Busters, Burlington Coat Factory, Marshalls, F21, Kohl's, Bevmo, Sport's Authority, Gap and Old Navy Businesses. By far one of the bigger stores I've been to with ample space and bigger selections Give or take, there are currently over 200 businesses and outlets still operating (go to the website, cause I can't list them all). Some of the outlet stores I've been to are Anchor Blue, Calvin Klein, Crocs, Nike Factory Store, Oakley Vault, Timberland, Spencer's, Nautica, Bath & Body Works and Fine Perfumes (I don't have any significant body-odor, so shut your traps!). And amazingly with all the popular stores, the mall is somewhat haunted with at least 20 empty spaces still available. The food court have Starbucks (duh!), Arby's, Hot Dog on a Stick, McDonald's, Cinnabon, TCBY, Sorabol Korean BBQ, and Sbarro to name some of the restaurants that can refuel the energy lost while shopping at this outlet/mall. Other restaurants such as Jollibee, Fresh Choice, and Outback scatter in various parts of the mall. As expected during the weekends, the food-court is obviously and continously busy. Plus, I never eat at any food courts, especially the Great Mall. I hope the economy will rise again. So shoppers can actually shop, instead of window-shop! read more

Oh the great mall. I have fond memories of the great mall since I was a child. I've definitely been here once too many times, and bought useless things from Spencer's and Forever 21 one too many times. However, in recent years this mall has just become more and more dilapidated. It almost seems like the more they try to update it the more tacky it looks. The whole setup is dark, not very inviting, the interior of the mall is difficult to navigate even after they put in that middle section across the food court. There aren't any compelling stores here, and the compelling "factory" stores here don't actually have any compelling inventory. They really need to step up their game if they're going to compete with the Westfields of the world. read more

Ahh the great mall, I wonderful place to walk around and spend my hard earned money. Just the walk in the mall alone is good exercise! I came looking for a present for a bday. I love the selection of stores that have come in now. Reebok, nike, coach, gap, old navy to name a few. I went into coach and found lots of great deals! Ended up buying a coach wallet. Not to shabby. The only draw back to the mall to me is the food court. They need better food selection. I mean the china max and teriyaki Tokyo I think it's called, is pretty much identical! Great Mall is actually my favorite mall now that they built that gap where you can cut thru rather than to have to walk the whole circle to get to a store :( Highlights of this mall: Food Court - Vietnamese Cusine [use to be Thai] their Pad Thai noodles are the business___La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill - their Supreme Chicken Quesdillia is to die for at almost $6 it is worth it trust me! H&M - my favorite place in the mall, clothes here are stylish, cheaply priced, and lots of selection for both men and women. Nike Store - Not really a big fan of the clothes here but the they always have tennis shoes on sale here all the time, even carry a lot of Jordan Shoes which you don't see a lot at outlet stores Burlington Coat Factory - this is the ultimate bargain store with all designer brand names you can ask for, plus the suits and coats selection here for all ages, why spend so much money at the Men's Where-house when you can find everything here. I call this the super-sized Ross! Kohl's - One of the biggest stores in the mall and it speaks for itself, love Kohl's DnB's - the main attraction of Great Mall, great hang out for friends, first dates, and even company party. Great Mall - Biggie Beats at Burlington, o yaaaaaaaaa! - Shopping Centers Near Me - Milpitas, California

This mall seems to cover all the essentials as far as shopping goes. - Outlets: A lot of the stores here are outlet versions of popular brands like Banana Republic, Coach, Abercrombie, and Hollister. Heck they even have designer discount stores like Neiman Marcus Last Call, Marshall's, Burlington Coat Factory, Saks Off 5th, etc. Ghiradeli Chocolate Factory even has an outlet store here. Great for discount shopping! - Typical Mall Offering: They have the usual flavor of stores you'd see in any mall... Victoria's Secret, PacSun, Hot Topic, Zumiez, Forever 21, Gamestop, etc. - Department Stores: While there isn't a JCPenney or Macy's... they at least have a Kohl's and Bed Bath and Beyond. - There is a foreign exchange counter... the rates are decent ($3 USD fee for less than $200). Super convenient to have for exchanging foreign currency before leaving the country (they do Philippine pesos too!) - Entertainment: Century Theater is so much cheaper than AMC ($8 for a student ticket). You can get some shopping done while waiting for a movie. The Dave and Buster's arcade also has a decent offering of games to play. - Asian Taste: Uniqlo is a super popular Japanese clothing store... I notice this location seems to have more discounts than others around the Bay. There's also a Daiso inside the mall as well as a Jolibee and Red Ribbon. Really convenient that I can visit all of them in one area. - Food: Honestly the food court offering kinda sucks... nothing really sticks out from the usual. But they do have a neat bakery inside the mall and Dave and Buster's has some good eats! Also the Chinese restaurant is popular (I always notice it's crowded on the weekends). Outside there's the usual chain restaurants like Red Robin, Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse, etc. Super convenient when trying to eat while doing a day in the mall. I'd recommend coming here on the weekdays if you need to do a quick errand or want a more relaxed shopping day. Otherwise parking is pretty difficult on the weekends. It can get pretty cut throat, and the mall itself gets pretty crowded, with annoying lines at most of the popular stores. Circle Mall. AKA, the Great Mall. Is it great? Meh. It's not a horrible place to do your shopping, but be prepared for lots, and I mean lots of people that you might be playing a severe case of bumper cars with. Especially on the weekends. It's an outlet mall, so there are more affordable shops for the general populace. There are a lot of shops so you will have plenty to chose from. So yeah for diversity! There used to be a shortcut in the middle of the mall, but for some idiotic reason or another, they took it down. So now you have to make the full circle if you want to get to the other end. Damn. Still, I do enjoy coming to his mall for random supplies and I'm not in the mood to plunk down a $100 bucks for a pair of socks. Not a bad place, but way too many people to deal with. read more

This mall is only a few minutes away from my place, so I could walk here if I wanted to LOL. I don't like coming here on the weekends because it's so crowded and tough to find parking. I think you have many non-local people here too. Also, the mall is constructed like a donut shape, So if you get lost, you have to walk all the way around which I hate! If only this mall was built with stairs or 2 story structure, and additional garage parking. This mall have many stores I like to shop looking for great deals such as H&M, Uniqlo, Old Navy, etc. The food court is not all that great, but they have other good restaurants such as Chipotle, Jollybee, Olive Garden, etc. If you're looking for a great day or late night out, there's DnBs so you can enjoy playing games with your family and friends. read more

I needed to go to Home Depot this afternoon, and when they didn't have what I needed (surprise, surprise), I walked over to the mall to see if there were any stores in Great Mall where I could find it. Nope. So I switched gears and continued my infinite search for work pants. I visited Gap Outlet, H&M, Banana Republic Factory Store and a couple others along the way. In those stores, the salespeople were friendly. The insides of those stores were clean and well-organized, though I only ended up buying a T-shirt from H&M. I wasn't all that impressed with the selection at the other stores. The layout of the mall and the general appearance of everywhere but inside those stores left a bit to be desired. I'm home now, and I feel like I need to hop in the shower and boil my clothes. That mall made me feel dirty.....could it be the random knock-off stores that I've never heard of? Hello, "Classey Lady," anyone? Anyone? (Check out the picture that I've uploaded here.) Ick. Those types of stores are just not my thing. At least I didn't have to fight for parking or deal with crowds inside. I had been thinking about taking my mom here when she and my dad visit next week, but I'm so glad I scoped it out ahead of time because it would have been a waste of time if we went here together. This is just one big space containing lots of small empty spaces. Really tho...I'd rather go to Serramonte but for whatever reason, the wifey seems to like going here. I mean....what's so special about this place other than it's BIG and you can probably fit the entire population of Milpitas in here. You have a bunch of no-name stores and a few known ones sprinkled in with a lot of junk in-between. And if there is a place that you like, the next visit here and it's gone. Think of a mall with outlet shops, but the outlet shops don't have the best bargains. And the mall is confusing and circular and the parking lot is challenging. There you have it, the Great Mall! This place does have its gems. I loved the Forever 21 here and the Clarks outlet. But honestly, that was about it. Other highlights: H&M (if you like that stuff), BCBG outlet, Neiman Marcus outlet (interesting just for the curiosity factor), and Esprit. No Macy's or Nordstroms. There is a Dave & Busters here as well as the movies, but in my opinion, not the shopping mecca I had hoped for. read more

-Wow this mall is huge! Is mostly outlets stores which is awesome. We came here a day after Black Friday around 10am and it wasn't as busy. We found great parking and the mall itself was quiet until maybe noon when we noticed it started to get busy and crowded. -It is an inside mall which is great. Tons of stores from big names to little small shops. You literally can find everything here. We spent about 6 hours here just looking around and shopping away. Tons of deals which you can't really get at normal retail stores. Be ready to spent a nice chinch of your day just roaming around and shopping. Their food court is huge as well. Tons of options to eat and sit down and enjoy your meal. It does get crowded and hectic which makes is hard to find a seat to eat in peace. -One of the biggest malls I've been to. It almost compares to Ontario Mills in Southern California. Definitely worth checking out this mall if you are near the area or not. I will check it out next time I'm in the area again. read more

Great Mall, what is so great about it? Its a great pain of the ass walking in a big ass circle around the mall, I guess. I remember when this place used to be great, but these past couple of years, it has gone downhill. Some of my favorite places to go to for some great deals is H&M, Gap, F21, Hollister, Abercrombie and Aldo. However, since this mall gets so congested, the lines in all the stores are crazy. Don't think about trying anything on, unless you don't mind waiting. Not sure if the deals are worth the visit. Its really a hit or miss. Most items outdated, while others you can definitely find at a regular store. Nothing special. Sadly, I am not a fan of any of the outlets in the Bay Area. However, they will be opening up Paragon Outlets in Livermore/Dublin in November!! Very excited about it, since the Bay Area is in need of a good outlets. RIght in time for Christmas. :) read more

This place brings back so many memories because my first-ever adulthood adventure to the bay area included a stop at Great Mall! I've came here multiple times the past two years, and I must say that each time this place continues to wow me with the boutiques, store fronts and selections for clothing and dining. They're undergoing a lot of reconstruction right now in the area, so DRIVE SLOWLY! Seriously...people should not feel entitled to run over each other! One thing that everyone should remember is that it's labeled by "Neighborhood". I think it goes until 6...or maybe more! Regardless, each neighborhood is kind of grouped closely together in categories BUT the downside is that there is no shortcut if you wanted to go to the beauty section-you're just gonna have to go in that round-a-bout. Hey-at least you get your steps in, right? I got in a good 4.5 miles from 4 hours of shopping...crazy! I would say this is one of the most hectic malls but also one of the friendliest. Lots of families come here...so I don't see why you shouldn't come with large parties! read more

People either seem to love or hate the Great Mall. Granted, it has really gone through changes throughout my life with stores opening and closing. Let's just do a list. 1. You can get some good exercise walking around. I would say that the entire loop is a mile. Because of the mall's size and many little side alleyways and corridors filled with stores, it can be slightly confusing to navigate at times. 2. They have some great outlet stores. I always find something cheap and cute at the Hollister outlet. They also have a Marshall's and Kohl's within the mall. It is pretty rare that these types of large stores are within a mall. This way you can do your shopping at the outlets, hit the typical mall stores (like H & M), and then make a final stop at Marshall's to find some cheap designer clothing! It's like a three for the price of one. 3. They have some stores I rarely see elsewhere. For example, I really liked the store Cotton On that I had first shopped at in Miami. The Great Mall is the only other place I have seen it! 4. They have an AMC Movie Theater so you can shop and then relax while watching a flick. 5. They have a Sweet Factory. Shopping + Candy=Heaven. I especially love the Sweet Factory's substantial variety of gummy candies! 6. There are a couple decent restaurants--mostly mall food. But, there is a Dave and Buster's which you either love or want to avoid like the plague. The Great Mall does not deserve its bad rep! read more

You know what I was reading some reviews I actually did come to the store it was built in 1994 been awhile it's huge and it's great exercise specially if someone who has sciatica it was very hard but I did half the mall. and I rest for like a hour as my family walk around the rest of the mall but they said there was still so much to see, best things to come early but because they had so many disabled parking will end up parking on the other side. I love that they have security the police substation was close by everything you need is here at way better than then one in Daly City in the food court is awesome walk around come back eat some more & get lots of exercise All the stores have alot of sales. read more

I used to work at the mall, so maybe I am a bit biased, but I think this is a great place to shop. Not only can you find bargains left and right, but it is also a fun place just to hang out and take a stroll. The remodeling they have done in recent years has transformed it into a more classy locale, instead of being known as a cheap outlet mall, ala Gilroy or Vacaville. The food court seems to change quite often, as less than half the restaurants there now were around when I worked there a few years back, but the selection is decent. Also, most stores seem to be occupied, so that is a good sign that the shops are doing healthy business. Furthermore, although there are many younger people here, most are not punks or gangsters like you would find at other malls, such as Eastridge, Bayfair, or Hilltop. Obviously, much of this can be attributed to the city, since Milpitas is generally known to be a safe, upper middle class town. Lastly, I'm still bitter over D&B buying out Namco's contract to be the exclusive arcade at the mall though. Namco WonderPark 4-ever! 187 Dave and Buster's! read more

Great Mall has been through some changes throughout the years, and I think it's finally in a good enough spot to deserve 4 stars. This is an outlet style mall with mostly outlet stores with a few department stores sprinkled all over the place. Great Mall is like one big track; seriously, it's huge. It's probably like a mile or something to walk the entire loop, a little more if you include all the people you have to dodge. There used to be a walkway through the middle of the mall, but that is now replaced with Uniqlo. (You can still walk though Uniqlo to cut through.) This place is always packed, especially around the holidays. Parking can get ridiculous. The best place to park is the parking structure or by Dave and Busters in the back. There are always a bunch of teenagers and kids with kendamas hanging out around the mall, but what can you expect? Not the best outlet prices by any means, but great selections of shops. There's a Dave and Busters and a movie theater as well, so there's more to do than just shop. Overall good mall for the area. Lots to do and good to get cardio in if you walk around enough. :P Alternative malls include Valley Fair and New Park Mall. Note: Vans skate park used to be here. It's interesting that this mall has both Outlets and full price stores. I think a lot of people come here for the bargains. Although the mall does have a large number of stores and good sales, it's not a very pleasant experience. The mall itself looks dull and the layout if kind of a pain. At least there's a lot of parking available. Some people get excited when they see that their favorite store has an outlet, but beware of the quality! You get what you pay for. The quality and the styles at most outlets seem to be off. This mall also seems to be a hangout spot for teens. I'd rather just to go Valley Fair or Stanford mall. I don't mind paying more money since they have much better stores and a more enjoyable shopping experience. read more

I am fond of this place if for nothing else, the fact that is has a TCBY. For some strange reason, though, my boyfriend loves this freaking place. I often wonder about him and his strange affinity for Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein and DKNY outlet stores-all of which can be found here. However, when I need to shop for specific clothing items, I'll tag along with him and spend a day venturing down here for a taste of Milpitas suburbia. This place is almost always chaotic (at least on weekends and around holidays) but the parking lot is sprawling enough that you can find a spot. Be prepared to walk and to dodge gigantic strollers. Families come here in droves and tend to mill about without clear direction on which way they want to walk. Everyone seems to be in a retail fog, so if you come here with a purpose and are determined to get where you are going quickly, be prepared to get frustrated. Rather than bother to rate individual stores, I'll just summarize my faves: *Banana Republic outlet-usually well stocked and they carry Petites-hooray! *The Body Shop-not really an outlet but always have some kind of insane deals going on *GAP Outlet-one of the larger locations I've been to with a good variety of the sizes I was looking for *Old Navy outlet-it's s&%thouse but if you are in the mood, you can paw through it all to find some deals Other than that-nothing I really need to make a special trip for. I go about once a year, stock up on clothing essentials and splurge on a TCBY waffle cone. Hooray suburbia! read more

I've been all over the country and most areas don't have great malls. they have ok malls, bad malls, or no malls at all. This is one of the largest malls in the country and after doing a few laps here you believe it. There are a ton of great stores here to choose from so check it out. The mall is completely remodeled, really sad they got rid of the short cut in the middle of the mall. Loved a store that used to be in that gap. So I went here yesterday to find an outfit for that night. Stopped by a few stores and actually found cute items. BUT I would never think I would be an impatient costumer until yesterday at a'gaci. I work in retail as well so I know how it's like. I looked around and they have a few nice things, but I found one simple bandeau bra I wanted to buy. As I was waiting in line, I realized I was standing in the wrong line and the girl didn't say anything but saw me standing there. I would say it's my fault but can you tell me so I wouldn't have to wait THAT long? I FINALLY realized because another lady went up to the right one. So as I went into the right line where one lady was standing, she was up next. I waited a really long time for her transaction to finish but the cashier was pretty friendly about it, she told me she'll be right with me. As I was waiting, another cashier went up to ring (FINALLY RIGHT?...... NO!) As he went up to the register, I wasn't sure if he was ready because he didn't say anything yet. I didn't want to be rude and walk straight up to him. The lady behind me yelled out "HELLO IM IN A HURRY" to the second cashier AND GUESS WHAT??? HE TOOK HER FIRST AND I WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER ABOUT TO BE NEXT. ugh I was soooo livid! I would never do that at my work. I would take whoever that is next and tell the next costumer I'll be right with them. At least the first cashier apologized for the wait. read more

Great Mall has a nice selection of outlets (Tommy Hilfiger, Banana Republic, J. Crew, Nike, True Religion, Eddie Bauer to name a few), a decent food court (with a Loving Hut opening soon!), and a Dave & Busters. Went here for the first time over Labor Day Weekend and was absolutely blown away by the savings! My partner and I ended up getting 65 - 70% savings at most stores, which were GREAT, but if it wasn't a special weekend I'm not sure the discounts would have warranted any excitement. Parking when we were there wasn't the best, but then again walking never killed anyone. I went into the mall expecting it to be a madhouse, but honestly didn't think it was that bad, though this might be because in high school and my early twenties I worked in a mall and know what bad can be. Inside, Great Mall wasn't terribly congested and most stores had employees available to help when you needed it without having to search for someone for 10 minutes. My number one complaint was the atrocious state of the bathrooms. At around 7 pm the toilets were clogged and the floors were covered with some disgusting liquids that will haunt my dreams for years to come. read more

This mall is okay. I love the outlet stores because its cheaper then the normal stores. Great stores here and a big food court if your hungry. To much Asians in this mall. I'm not trying to be racist, but a lot of Indians that shop here are rude. They bump people and don't say sorry. Another thing is they will sit there and stare at you eating. read more

Great Mall is one of my favorite places in the entire Bay Area to go enjoy a great afternoon/evening, if I want to get a little shopping done and grab a cheap bite to eat! Great Mall is an outlet mall with hundreds of stores inside, and it's the closest outlet to us here in San Jose! I usually go to visit the following stores: Banana Republic, Gap, Express, NIKE, Calvin Klein, Van Heusen, Coach, Burlington Coat Factory, Marshall's, Kohl's, Perfumania, and Sports Authority. My wife also loves shopping at New York & Company, H&M, as well as the largest Forever 21 I have ever seen in my life. Women can literally spend their entire afternoon in that Forever 21 inside there. These stores always have deals that range from 30-70% off normal retail listing price, so we are always saving big bucks shopping here at this mall. There are also a wide range of activities to do there, other than just shopping. They have a large Century Theaters cinema complex attached to the mall. There is also my favorite place of all time - Dave and Busters - which is accessible from inside the mall area. I love to catch some sporting events there, and also play some awesome arcade games. There are also a number of decent restaurants (some chain restaurants) inside Great Mall - Outback Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Mayflower, Red Ribbon, Jollibee, Chipotle, and there is also a humongous food court (over 20+ vendors) from which to choose whatever your heart desires. My wife will also come here to get her manicures and pedicures, which are usually very reasonably priced. It is definitely a family-friendly mall, and there is a lot for kids to do at the mall too. It is always very packed though, especially on the weekends. We were just there again yesterday (third or fourth time in the last couple of months), and it was crazy busy in there! More like the Great Outlet! For a place that is not specifically called an outlet, there are numerous amounts of outlets here. I'm not too sure what is so great about the Great Mall. This place gets sooo busy on the weekends, and its even worse during the holidays. This place has a ton of parking, but during the holidays its still a struggle to find a spot. Getting in and out is virtually impossible. There are some bright spots...the movie theater here is nice and I don't think any other mall close by has a rather large entertainment venue like Dave & Busters. read more

The Great Mall is a mall that is great. I just had to play with the word. It is great if you need some exercise. You can walk laps. But not on the weekends, due to the high crowds. There is a way to cut in the middle thru Uniqlo. I enjoy many of the outlet stores. And it's inside. Most of the other outlet malls are outdoor. But sometimes I enjoy a little relief from the elements. Minus that the bathrooms are located down super long hallways. Can we say, disaster waiting to happen? Positives are the anchor stores. A bit disappointed with the sales earlier today. It seems deceiving with the so called sale price and how it feels like its regular price to me. :( The mall was pretty packed today. It was a hot day and it was soo humid or no air. It was smelly too. We could smell a lot body odor it was a little bit disgusting. Today was not a good day to come. read more

Tip: Avoid coming here on weekends. Parking is terrible and the mall is crowded like no other! I had to go against my tip today because my dad had apparently lost my aunt at the mall..and let me tell ya. Parking is such a nightmare, and there's all these stupid pedestrians and then there are those assholes that wait in their cars for days in hopes that someone will walk by and pull out of a space. Beeyatch, get the eff out of the way! Anyway, like I said. Don't come on weekends as it is crowded. The mall isn't that great itself anyway. The only stores that I ever go to is the Banana Republic outlet and that's about it sadly. There's a huge Forever 21 if you 're into that kinda stuff, but mehh. Nice shops and they're all good sized. Pretty good deals too. But, DO NOT GO ON WEEKENDS. It is crazy packed. You'll have trouble finding parking, traffic in there gets horrible. It even gets crazy packed inside and some people tend to be rude when you say "excuse me". I really do not recommend going on the weekend. It will stress you out. Even in the stores it's packed like crazy. Go on weekdays then the mall is a lot better and you can actually walk inside the stores. Pretty good deals as well. A lot of the workers I've talked to are really nice as well. read more

Why do they even call it Great mall? What's so great about it? oh, it's a one story mall. They should call it "Basic mall" or "Not so Great mall". The only thing great about this place is Daiso and a few other stores. This mall was kinda difficult to navigate around because there were so many "cut throughs" and passageways. They do not have any department stores here, except for a Sears outlet. They have Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Kohl's, Marshall's, Saks, and a huge Burlington Coat factory. There were hardly anybody in the stores that I passed by. I think the only place that was doing great was the Coach outlet. They were flooded with woman, especially oriental women. It was a "take an extra 30% sale". It was madness in there. They do have a nike factory inside the mall, but there was nothing good. I walked in, made a loop and walked out. That's basically what I did to all the other stores I visited, except for Daiso. BTW Daiso is like japanese dollar store (prices range from $1-1.50 with few items priced higher). They have quite a few Asian stores like Sanrio, and they were pretty pricey. They even have two of the same store called "Zoom in", a place that sold little keychains, stuffed animals, and other asian stuff and yes, there were no customers inside :| The food court is okay. They have Mcdonalds, Hotdog on a stick, Mongolian BBQ, and even a Jollibee. They play loud music over there while you eat, which I don't really like. This place is flooded with high school kids and mall rats. Everywhere you turn you'll see a group of teenagers. They either walk slow in groups or block the walking area. Overall, I wouldn't want to come to this mall again. There's nothing special about this place that would make me travel here from Fairfield. read more

I am not a fan of mega malls, but this one is pretty decent, better than expected. Just the image of hordes of people fighting for clothes and for a parking spot makes me dizzier than all the big circle I had to do to try to figure out what was the main entrance to this shopping paradise puzzle. If you miss variety of people, go to the Great Mall, you find absolutely a vast array of diversity. I could not believe that even the avalanche of fellow shoppers you can encounter at a given Saturday I was able to even coincidentally meet a colleague and his family (for a sec I felt safe, I was thinking what about if i die now, no one will notice and probably I will be ran over by someone trying to get that nice sale). Tons of stores to choose from, I would not eat there, I don't trust food in the big malls, but that is me ( I always get stomach upset in this type of places). Very good prices in nice brand stores, so definitively a shopping haven. read more

Great Mall - Got this for MiniLuv - Shopping Centers Near Me - Milpitas, California

Went to this mall to check out what stores with my cousin. She was nice enough to show us around this mall. It is an indoor one level mall with a lot of stores. There were your typical stores such as Coach, Old Navy, Ross's, etc. I can go on and on. Also had a Starbuck's inside. I liked this mall because it is so huge with so many options. There was also a small food court inside that consisted of Korean bbq, Chinese, Subway, etc. I got to eat some food from the Korean bbq place. I had some chicken, noodles and rice. Pretty descent. This mall is fairly clean with and soda machines throughout the mall. There is plenty of parking around the mall which is nice. Definitely a mall I would come back to if I was in the neighborhood. read more
