i also have a love/hate relationship with this mall. i hate it because the employees there seem to hate their jobs and some are so f'in rude to where i just want to tell em to work elsewhere if they're going to keep up with the stupid attitude. also, i hate this place because it's infested with teeny boppers that are there mostly on fridays after 3pm arriving via bus 58 or something wearing their backpacks that matches with their shoes and the rubber bands! must not forget the rubberbands around their ankles. i know i had my moments in hs when i went to the gmall after school and all, but was i that annoying?! i just went every friday for a month because i wanted to see if mojo's had any cool things on sale and to see if i REALLY wanted to shell out 60 bucks for a damn green paul frank bag. i can't hate it entirely because i grew up living down the street from this place. i still have that scar from the first day this place opened by busting a hole in my shin in the shoe store that isn't there anymore. that's a memory to remember - when i saw my fatty tissues for the first time and the look on the employee's face when he saw my leg oozing with blood. haha. hilarious. this mall isn't entirely bad. it's a lot better from before by taking out certain stores that didn't do so well like the stupid magnet store that sold only magets to adding in abercombie and hollister and such. the weird thing about this mall is that it is considered an outlet mall, but not all the stores are outlets (ae, old navy). yeh, it's true that this place can get on the ghetto side, but who says that you have to hang out here? just go to the stores that you need to go to and bizzzounce! p.s. they have a mighty fine forever21 store. it's clean! read more

Gave the mall another chance, the Kiosk workers have become even more pushy since my last visit. It is obvious that there is no oversight for their behaviors and it leads me to assume that management doesn't care at all. Only going to Vision Insight now, the rest of the mall isn't worth it to me anymore. read more

It is a good place for exercise walking, there are several stores in there moderate pricing. It's a nice little place.

This is one of the few places that I've been of this franchise that had decent service and yummy lemonade. I didn't taste their hot dogs when i went but i did have their lemonade and it was great. Ill update my review whenever i go back for a hot dog . read more

This place could use a better method to the parking lot system but overall theres's a good variety of stores and prices are reasonable.

I like coming here with my cousins when we have nothing to do. Haha they have good stores especially for the younger age groups

I don't care for this place because I am lazy and I hate walking around in the circle trying to find a particular store. I've gotten good deals here, but I don't go often enough to know where to park to get to the store I'm looking for. Take Tuesday, for example. I wanted to return something to the Banana Republic outlet. Fine. I parked near the Starbucks and started walking to the right. I ended up walking practically the entire mall before getting to the right place. Where are the directories when you need them? I quickly returned my item, only to find that there were a pair of cute shoes in my size on the clearance rack. I love shoes and they were perfect! Ok, so this mall is not so bad. read more

The Great Mall in Milpitas is where 90's fads come to die: perry ellis, abercrombie, and bebe. I only come here for Neiman Marcus' Last Call and Off 5th Avenue. If you're a shoe whore like me, Neiman Marcus has the better selection of shoes, although Saks' offering's are pretty respectable. read more

The Great Mall is okay, not great. Maybe because my favorite stores aren't located here, but don't get me wrong, they do have a lot of stores including some big name stores like: Marshalls, Burlington Coat Factory, Kohls, the Home Depot and etc. There's also a Century theatres and an Outback Steakhouse. Nieman Marcu's Last Call and Saks Fifth Avenue are my two favorite spots here. If you haven't been, you should check it out. read more

Has to be one of the worst malls in the United States...It was gross and the selection in the stores that I visited were atrocious. It looked like everything had been cleared out...The only reason this mall gets two stars is because the Neiman Marcus outlet had a great selection of Stefano Ricci ties.. read more

I use to love great mall for shoes! This place has gone down hill. Dangerous people. I went with my grown daughter and son. Every store we went in, employees either stared hard at us or were right next to us. Other people just rude. Making rude comments to my daughters and just staring down my son. This mall is down the street from where I live, but I rarely come here. I like Eastridge better, I think Eastridge has better clothing stores. And Eastridge has Barnes and Nobles while Gmall has Saks and a Coach store with older ladies waiting in line to get in ha. Okay. More pissed than ever. I just had the front of benz re-done (not my fault). We needed to stop by the mall really quick, and the great mall was the closest. We left within 10 minutes of arriving...thought nothing of it. I use my blinker and it's blinking fast as if it were broken. Hmm, let me see this. Turns out, I was HIT in the front bumper by a TRUCK (yes, I know it was a pickup truck due to the indent that your HITCH made) and smashed my right light and DENTED my hood. Okay. If I had a BUCKET, I wouldn't be pissed. BUT I DON'T DRIVE A BUCKET. And I just had my car finished, too! FOR A MALL THAT HAS IT'S OWN "POLICE STATION", THE GREAT MALL IS: -EXTREMELY GHETTO -UNSAFE -TACKY -LOW CLASS -DANGEROUS -BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH I filed a police online with Milpitas PD. Called back once and it was "still pending". Called back a second time and there was "insufficient evidence" because the cameras they have are, I quote, "ON SWIVELS". So WHAT? Your CHEAP SWIVEL SECURITY CAMERA DIDN'T CATCH THE UGLY CAR THAT DID THIS TO MY MERECDES? WHAT IF THERE WAS A MURDER IN PROGRESS. WOULD YOUR CHEAP SWIVEL SECURITY CAMERAS CAPTURE THAT??? IS THAT YOUR EXCUSE?? THEY ARE "ON SWIVELS"??? I am BEYOND pissed. Use to go to this mall all the time. Now I only go for my hubby's oakleys....this mall has changed! Rude people who literally run you over than look at you like you ran into them. Stores are changing into higher end stores so prices are higher with the transformation. I hate going to this mall. Looking for better mall id recommend valley fair, way better and people arnt as pushy and rude. read more

I love the Great Mall! Everytime I go there I think to myself, "I should really just drived out here all the time I want to shop!" There is plenty of parking but it does get pretty crowded and looking for parking can get frustrating at times. But I love the stores here. They have such a huge selection of everything and they have tons of great bargains everywhere. I love to shop here the day after Thanksgiving! The deals are just ridiculous!! Their food court is a pretty good size and they do have plenty of options to keep kids occupied here. The one and only complaint I have though is their bathrooms! Why the heck are they so dang far!! You walk into the hallway thinking you're going to see a door, only to have to walk down two or three more long hallways! Then you get there and there's a long line!! read more

Been coming to this mall since day one. It has changed alot . Stores are more"higher end" than before and most of the cool stores I visited (like Media play) left. Its suppose to be an outlet mall but all the high end stores made this place expensive. Only real reason I walk around this place is to get something to eat or get a haircut. Lots of teens at nite and on weekends. Lots of guys there just loaf around checking out chicks (and there are some good ones walking around) Parking in the front of the Mall is packed mainly due to Home depot customers so better to park in back where they have extra 3 story parking garage (most of the time empty) read more

I like this mall for the following reasons. 1. Prices. It's an outlet mall so everything is heap and I always find something to buy. Maybe that's a bad thing haha. 2. Dave n Busters is here and I love games 3. Burlington - This is my kind of store! So cheap! 4. Lots of parking - Just don't try to park on the Home Depot side.... that's a fail right there. Things I don't like... 1. It's filipino central. One time I ate in the food court and I counted 5 white people. C'mon... lets get some diversity! 2. The food court is missing the essentials... Great Mall has a plethora of stores, a diverse food court, an expansive parking lot, and an interesting layout. I enjoy coming here earlier and on week-days for a less crowded shopping experience, as this mall can get rather busy during the weekends -- particularly during holiday-season. read more

I remember when the Great Mall was crap, usually pretty empty, and we all thought it wasn't going to make it. But it's improved greatly over the years, and now is basically a large indoor outlet mall with most of your major brand name stores. It goes around in a big circle, which makes it easy for you to shop and get back to your car without having to go all the way back to the other side if it were a strip mall. read more

The layout of this mall is a circle with a slit in the middle. Great mall is always crowded, no matter what day or what time; expect there to be no parking. There's a lot of stores such as Coach, Forever 21, Abercrombie, Hollister, etc. Most of them are outlets, but there are a few such as Forever 21 and American Eagle that aren't outlet stores. read more

Absolutely bring walking shoes. If not it will be the worst experience. They had a wide they had a wide variety of food in the food court everything was delicious. They have a great deal of shops. Everything is kind of packed but if you go during the week it is less crowded. I love shopping so it was a great experience for me to have a hugemall with everything in it.The only downside to this review is that I went once on a Saturday and it was very crowded I was like swimming up river through a bunch of fishes. The minus one star is because when I asked someone that worked at a booth for directions they ignored me and so did all the other people in the booth when I ask for directions so that was a downside either than that everything else was bomb bomb. read more

Even though this mall is a great big traffic jammed circle its become my favorite one. I love all the outlet stores and it has a lot of great specialty shops as well.
