Yesterday my kids were scheduled for their COVID boosters. It wasn't the easiest endeavor, my youngest was a little squeamish. We got it done and there was a reward in waiting @ Great Northwest. Now in wasn't planning on getting anything (wink wink), but since I was there I decided to anyway. My son got a banana split minus the marichino (aka bleached) cherry. He seriously inhaled this ice cream "boat". It was there and then it wasn't. My daughter got a 2 scoop double caramel sundae. Salted caramel ice cream with caramel sauce. That sounds amazing no matter how you pronounce it. I wanted to get a 2 scoop cone, but sadly they were out of cones. I was offered cone "pieces" but I declined. I think it was made up by the size of the scoops I received. All in all, the discomfort of the shots was bypassed by amazing ice cream. read more

Gosh it had been forever since I had shaved ice abs was a little skeptical of the flavors but they are so good. I got pineapple and mango. Mango was sweeter than I prefer. My friend got the shaved ice with chocolate ice cream. Th chocolate offset the mango sweetness perfectly. For those seeking less sweet flavours get the strawberry coconut with 25% syrup! A shake is 12 dollars. It's not very big and the customer service was dreadful. The owner basically looks annoyed he has business. Just go to Fred Meyer across the street and get ice cream there. At least you dont have to tip the U-Scan at Fred Meyer. I do not recommend doing business here, your dollars should go somewhere where they want it. read more

Wow, the flavors are amazing! My family went here for the first time today and we got 5 flavors and each one was just the best we have ever had. The raspberry cheesecake flavor is the best I have ever had. The actual ice cream is flavored cheese cake with the perfectly tart raspberry swirl. The Mango sorbet tasted perfect, not too sweat but perfectly Mango. The lady who worked there was very kind and went above and beyond to help us get what we wanted. Great place that we've been going to almost religiously. The Ice cream is my favorite and cones are fantastic! There is always some staple ice cream flavors that seem to be there every time and some that rotate in and out, but every flavor I've tried has been the best. They also don't skimp on the "filling" for example Oreos in cookies and cream. There is always an abundance of those which makes the ice cream even better! We popped in to check out Cornelius's first(?) Ice Cream shop. The best part .. their ice cream is all Homemade. They offer coffee drinks too. We were there only for the Ice Cream this time... Yum! We tried 5 flavors. Cinnamon, S'mores, Coffee Oreo, Toasted Coconut, and Chocolate. All were delicious. Creamy, Ice Cold, and Mouthwatering. :) A single scoop for each of us was $3.50, double scoops are $6.50, and a $1 more for Homemade Waffle Cones. read more

I love ice cream, wanted to try something different. I wanted some affogato that's wasn't the plan but I saw it on their menu. It was great the staff/employee gives me suggestion what I should had my coffee shot paired with. But I had it with coffee toffee. Let me tell you it's the best ice cream I never had, the shot of coffee wasn't fulling because it's pretty strong if you don't like the bitter after taste. We came out here on a whim and got a great ice cream treat experience. They make their own ice cream and we were impressed. The Coffee with Oreo Cookies is a favorite and for good reason. Who doesn't dip an Oreo in coffee! Spectacular flavor combo and the right amount of chunks. The pumpkin pie ice cream is spot on. Drove up and because of COVID the staff takes your order at the door. The two staff that waited on me were polite and were both wearing masks and gloves. As I was waiting I noticed a guy that came from the back room. He was not wearing any PPE he joked like he was going to take some whipping cream right out of the can. I brought up my concern to the person that seemed to be in charge. She stated she would talk to him and he was only washing the dishes. The ice cream wasn't anything special. What brought me in: Facebook advertising/posts with photos that made the ice cream look so yummy. I wanted to try something local and new. What I tried: My husband and I each got a double scoop. The flavors I tried were: Lemon Poppy, Birthday Cake, and Raspberry Sorbet. Impression: Each of the flavors were lackluster and had an odd aftertaste. I expected the Birthday Cake to be creamy but it tasted freezer-burned. The Raspberry Sorbet had a nice flavor of raspberries but unfortunately that took a back seat due to how sour it was. I really wanted to like this place especially because they seem like they have unique flavor combinations. All the ice cream is made onsite and they have a wide range of flavors from chocolate and vanilla to snickerdoodle and molasses licorice. You can sample before you choose, which is awesome. It was OK nothing special, the guy working the place was nice enough to let me try multiple flavors tho he did look annoyed... Maybe that's just what his face looks like. Most of the ice cream tasted the same and they didn't have any cherry flavor so I hope next time I'm in here they do, I'd have to say the best one was the coconut I also got a chocolate chip cookie dough one.
