Disappointed. The reviews were good so we gave it a try. Service was sorely lacking, and not just because it is an order at the counter kind of place. My husband's food arrived about 20 minutes after mine and the place wasn't even busy. They made no apology, gave no excuses, and really didn't care. They messed up my sandwich, using swiss instead of cheddar cheese as ordered. The chairs are hard and straight backed, so it's not a comfortable place to sit and eat. I was just not impressed with any aspect of this restaurant, and felt that most previous reviews were exceedingly generous. read more

Their sandwiches are really pretty great. Very unique and always delicious. I hate to pay as much as they charge for a sandwich, but I really can't say that the value isn't there. They have a few other food options, but they're mostly appetizers (the mushroom brie is fantastic). They have a lot of live music and a casual, relaxed atmosphere. They have some beer and wine, but it's not a bar and options are fairly limited. Usually, they'll have one or two domestic staples, a stout or two, and a bunch of over-hopped hipster beer. I don't drink coffee, but a lot of people like theirs. But all in all, it's fun, it's tasty, and it's got a younger crowd. I would easily recommend trying it. read more

Big portions and FRESH food! We drive over all the time from Walla Walla just to grab lunch. The atmosphere is really cool too. Lots of posters from shows and bands. Great selection of beer. They even make coffee and sweet treats. We got our kid a fruit and yogurt plate and I ended up eating it. I don't know what they did to that yogurt but it was delicious as a fruit dip. read more

Great place and a great staff. I was lucky to be able to stop here on my journey across America for veterans. Met with the manager for a bit in this very unique and great place. I ordered a pep mush pizza and was not disappointed! Great pull on the cheese and good amount of toppings. If you are a ranch fan like I am, please get it here! I haven't had their coffee but the tea was good with the exception of the cinnamon tea that felt like I was drinking liquid cinnamon disks ( my stomach was mad at me for that one). Wow. This coffee shop is amazing. Unique in its design. And it has wine too! The selection is great! When I came there was a guy playing Spanish guitar music and it made the place just so much better. The coffee is flavorful and delicious. Cool spot, good brew and tonight live music. Lots of beer on tap and my wife is happy with the wine selection. We did pizza and salads and it hit the spot. Stopped in Pendleton for the night on our drive through Oregon and went in to Great Pacific Wine & Coffee Co for dinner. It was spacious, clean, and we we're able to get a table quickly even on a busy Friday night. As big salad lovers, we ordered the caesar, Greek, and GP salad, all of which were delicious and came in generous portions accompanied by good bread. We also tried the veggie pizza on a regular crust which was full of a variety of roasted veggies, and my sisters tried a greek/pesto pizza on gluten-free crust which they were very pleased by. I could pass up trying a cup of the mushroom-brie soup which I'd seen positive comments on, and we all loved it as well. This was a great experience overall with fast and friendly service, and we'd definitely stop here again. read more

The pizza options range from familiar to adventurous and are all excellent. They also offer gluten-free crust. My favorite sandwich is the Cabby: grilled cheese with apples and bacon. Best salad is the Caesar with smoked salmon. They offer tons of drink options, lots of local beers, and more wines than I've ever seen in one establishment. Very casual, counter-service, seat yourself. Live music is common on the weekends and there's a bluegrass jam session on Saturday afternoons. You might have trouble getting a table, especially when there's live music, so make reservations if you have more than 4 people. There's no kid menu but it's loud and casual enough to accommodate children. read more
