Four sheets of ice. Food is actually good, especially the tater tots, although really expensive for what you get. Good selection of beer and other alcoholic beverages. Refs and staff are hit or miss.

Awesome rink!! Very well orchestrated buying passes online in advance ($19 + $7 skate rental). Can get really busy so recommend coming at the beginning of the session. Ice is in great condition (compared to Ice Palace) and I love they have a bar and food upstairs. Anaheim Ducks team store is legit but expensive (not surprised) plus they have little arcade games! Lots of viewing areas for non skaters. Only downside is it can get busy making the rink clustered and lots of practicing going on (hockey and figure skating).

A great place to enjoy ice skating with family or friends. The ice skating rink is so large and they play a good playlist. We came on a weekend and it was kinda busy but we had a wonderful time! You can also stop by the Orange County Great Park nearby, there are usually local vendors selling cool treats.

By far my favorite ice rink. - Amazing lighting for all your hockey parent photo needs. Lol. - Not freezing cold in the stands like most rinks. - Beer license ;) & wide variety snack bar - Ample bathrooms - Tons of parking, EV and handicapped spots. - Farmers' market on Sundays! Just walk over after hockey. - Locker room facilities are top notch. Nonone used the showers or toilet but it's nice to see it clean & available. 6 stars! Love it...

01/26/2023 Horrible skate fitting, dismissive staff, ruined ankles.

Came here 01/26/2023. Info first: $24 for 2 hours of skating + skates. Horrible experience. Front desk staff does not care a single bit about the customers. I got my skate rental and seemed to fit a bit tight around my ankles. I went up to the front desk and told them that it was a bit uncomfortable and asked if they could check my fitting. They dismissed me and said they didn't know how to check it. If they don't know how to check the skates, then why are they assigning skates to customers? Please reference the attached photos to see the damage that the skates did.

A View from the upstairs restaurant.

Big facility lots of parking although sometime you have to walk far to get a spot but there's plenty it might not be as close as you'd like. Big tip is to go there early or be prepared to wear comfortable sneakers and walk. I like the fact that they have free charging for your phone a lot of amenities such as restaurants, restaurants, open spaces for cheerleaders and cheerleading practices, and a pro shop where you can heat mold your leather skates, get your different blades sharpened (they charge different prices, depending on the type of blades you have : check out my photo for more info). They also sell also also ice skates and other sports equipment when I went there they had plenty of people to help one person, but I got help by three other people in each one of them didn't know what the other one did and so it was a big ball of confusion The prices for heat molding your ice skating boots is very competitive. They have other services such as water ceiling your roots if it doesn't come that way and generally the pro shop could be run better but for what it is, I think they provide good services. They just need to have one person help. just one customer instead of multiple people so that they don't get confused. I do recommend this place but do your own research and find the best pricing even if you had to purchase online or purchase from outside of the US.

To me, I think this is one of the large ice rinks that I have seen. It has 4 rinks. Three of them has hockey team duke out their competitors. It sure is fun watching it live in this place. The intensity of the game. It's free entry to watch the figure ice skating that was competing at the last rink. It was great to see San Diego team was there competing & won!! So happy to witness the success! It's quite an inspiring experience to watch so many different type of teams compete for the events and age groups from large to small! Some silver hair to little babies stepping up to the ice rink! It's sure a treat to watch and afterwards swing on over to the other rinks of hockey teams beating up one of another. Seriously it's fun to watch live vs the tube!!!

Came in here to get my ice skates sharpen and for 20 bucks that was done. Tonight to try it out on the ice skating rink. The store was very cute people were friendly and they had a very nice selection of clothes an accessories that had rhinestone embellishment Which is my favorite. Definitely recommend the store if you're looking for skate clothing for kids.

    Go Empire! They won 7 - 1

Came here to watch our cousins hockey game and we had fun! Im an avid Ducks fan and was excited to see him play here, this was our first time as well. The rinks are all huge and the place looks like a convention. I didn't get to try the bar and food but definitely for next time I'll grab myself a drink while I watch. There is plenty of parking as well! The only thing I wish they had were softer benches, after their 2nd period our butts were numb. Can't wait to come back though! They offer public ice skating here as well but get tickets ahead of time in case they are playing games that night or have sold out. His team won 7-1! Go Empire!

It's a bit of a hit or miss with this place. The facilities are grand with at least 4 full size ice rinks. Public sessions throughout the week. The sit down restaurant with full bar is nice when it's open. But when it's not, there's always the walk up order line where you can get food and beverages including beer and wine. There are a bunch of teenagers running this place so customer service is spotty. Although you might get a good one if you keep trying. My daughter takes group lessons and recently added private lessons, which I will say is pricey $$$ (about $400/month for 2 days a week). You also have to be on top of it when you sign up for group lessons and reserve freestyle skate for the private lessons. Overall, we're pretty happy so far.

Is the seating area handicapped friendly?

Yes they do have handicap seating available and elevator access to the top level.

For open skate, can we bring in our own snacks and drinks?

Yes... just not in the ice

What time is open skating from?

Public Skate is normally Mon-Sun from 2-4pm, and Fri-Sat nights 8-10pm. But check their website prior as this changes subject to facility events!

    How much is it?

Check their website, or call!🤪 We are there for hockey, so the cost is nearly the national debt each season!…

Last time I was there, not yet.

    Free entry to watch?

Hey Dayna, Some events may require a paid entry but most are free.

Decent ice skating rink, but the ice could be smoother…read more Arrived at 11am last Saturday and there were still a couple street parking spaces available. They are right outside the rink so parking and walking over was super convenient. The parking has a limit of 90 minutes which is the same amount of time for one skating session so that worked out perfectly. There was also a parking lot nearby but I didn't wander over there. The inside of the facility is huge as well as the ice rink itself. I had registered online ahead of time, so I just had to give them my name at the check in counter. The rental skates are right next to the check in and u just told them my size. I should have gotten half a size smaller than my sneaker size for a snug fit. It's also better to wear thicker socks for a more comfortable wear since the skates can be quite stiff. There are benches to sit and change into the skates. Inside the rink there are benches and locker too (need two quarters). I left my shoes under the bench in the main lobby area and it was fine. One of the skates had wet shoelaces which I thought was weird, but other than that the skates were nice and clean. The inside of the rink area was quite cold so I'm glad I brought gloves. There were more people than I expected. (More than the website was showing how many people registered.) Despite the number of people, there was still a lot of space on the ice. The ice wasn't too bad, but I wish it was smoother. Over time, it got rougher from all the people skating. There were some tiny chips/dips in the ice too, which isn't very safe to skate over. Skating over them caused me to lose balance for a quick second. Thankfully no falls. I wish they would smooth it out at least once during the session. It's quite loud on the ice and hard to talk. The bench area was fine though.

This is my second year in a row skating during the holiday season and I've had the best time here. There's a reason there's a lot of skaters that get season passes for this rink (and do so every year) When it rained, they worked overtime to get the ice ready for the public and open back up as soon as possible. I've seen some false reviews from (Gigi) who wasn't even there at that day who is leaving the review for another figure skater that was skating unsafe. Instead of taking accountability, they are leaving negative reviews saying they were yelled at by management when I was there and the only yelling was coming from the girls making up the complaint. Just wanted to clear that up because it's unfair of people to leave fake negative reviews when they weren't even there to begin with. The skate-guards, management. Literally everyone that works here has been so uplifting and crucial to my growth as a figure skater. Thank you for giving me the confidence to skate in front of a bunch of strangers and making every skating season here magical!!

There was a roller derby game on Saturday night, so I came here to check out, what I was getting into! It wasn't the easiest place to spot, if we hadn't seen someone holding up the sign for the rink, we would have missed it. The parking lot was big and there was plenty of parking all around, so we didn't have to worry about not finding a spot. The front section had about 5 booths set up all along both sides, with a beer booth at the end! From what I saw, there was no limit to the amount of beer you could purchase during the game! There were two rinks, but only one was used that night. There were large bleachers set up next to each rink, for everyone's viewing pleasure and between each rink, there were scattered tables and chairs. They also had a decent sized snack bar across from the rinks and at the front entrance, two vending machines. I wasn't hungry when we went, so I just bought a tub of popcorn and a soda. I did see (and smell) a few warm pretzels and hot dogs making their way past me! Towards the back, past the 2nd rink, was the rest area, dressing rooms. Apparently there is more, but since I wasn't part of the team yet, I couldn't go past the 2nd rink! Overall, not a bad place!

I wish they had turned out the lights as I see they do from some of the pictures posted by other reviewers, but nonetheless it was a great time. We knew NOTHING about the rules of the game, but a couple of friendly attendees filled us in. We did pay extra for the VIP bleacher seats, but when I saw that the general seating was on the rink itself I kind of wish I would have gone with those tickets instead. They did have wine and beer, so that was great for us and we also liked the live music. I also liked that it was a place friendly to both adult groups and groups with kids. I would definitely want to go again. Wish they would have had at least a few more food trucks though as the one that was there ran out of a lot of their menu items early on.
