This used to be my go to place since last Jan after moving to the area. At first customer service was awesome, selection of juice or devices were large, and an always friendly staff. Now however, the last few times I've been there I have been met with an idiot who has no idea or knowledge of the juices or devices in the store and who has on several occasions taken his sweet time to even ask if I need assistance and others walking in. Sad but time to find a new spot. read more

Awesome little shop in Santa Clara . The owner is cool and very helpful . When I was there the cases were pretty bare and no sampling juices . The owner said he was waiting for his new shipment and waiting to restock . A fairly new business and the good thing about the juices here it's pretty cheap . read more

The employees here are absolutely grade A. Came here with a friend planning to buy a pen and we hung out for nearly two hours, talking to the employees, asking questions, and trying out flavors. Great vape shop, staff is knowledgeable and not pushy. For the most part they seem like they just want to share their passion about vaping. Juice selection is very large and they add new juices all the time. Same goes for hardware selection. Good hardware for experienced vapors and people new to the scene. Seen a couple reviews saying hardware is expensive and as a long time vapor I can say that this really isn't the case. pens, mods, boxes are more than online sure but a fair amount. After tax and shipping from and online retailer their prices come out to about the same and you don't have to wait a week or two for shipping so overall I'd say pricing is pretty fair. Oh and juice is very competitively priced, better even than online is many cases. read more

I've been going to this shop for three years now. Overall, I've gotten consistently good service. But today.... oh wow today. I walked in, I was immediately acknowledged by one of the workers. I wish I got his name. I said I needed something cheap and cheerful, since my big rig was lost in a pile of stuff (I'm in the process of a big move, and I didn't have time to look for it before the movers showed up). He immediately pointed out a Smok Novo, explained in full detail how it worked, walked me over the the juice bar, explained in full detail how the nicotine salt juice worked as opposed to my usual juice... whole thing took 7 minutes tops. Dude was impressive. I wish I remembered him name, so I could sing his praise from the rooftops! This shop is one of the best in the entire Bay Area. I've seen this place evolve to become one of the most prestigious and well designed buildings you can imagine. Although the floor plan is nice, the real experience lies within the knowledge and service of the staff. And the staff here kicks ass. They know about every juice, tank, and mod out there. You got a problem with a build? They have the answer. Is your cotton tasting funky? These guys will diagnose the problem and have you fixed in the blink of an eye. Normally, I purchase all my vape related necessities online. However, I looked for a vape shop nearby as I needed a pod system in a timely manner. Found Great Vape, gave them a call, and was informed they had the product I needed. Upon visit, the associate (Jay) was really cool and was willing to answer questions I had regardless of his buddy coming in after me (including this as reviews have reflected negatively in this regard). I had issues with the product I got, so I called the next day and Kevin told me to bring it by. When I got there that night, Zach and another employee welcomed my issue with open arms, gave me a refund and were happy to accommodate my new purchase. Came here yesterday after visiting Platinum vapes and I must say I'm glad I found Great Vape before making a purchase! Rob the owner and the other employee were really helpful and kind. I told Rob the experience I just had with Platinum vapes (I felt kind shunned there for not knowing much about "mods" which is what I wanted to buy) he was very kind and gave me lots of info on variable voltage mods and vaping temps. I ended up buying a Joyetech EVic (same mod I was looking at from pv) from him and I could not be happier! He was also able to hook me up with a way better deal that I was going to get at the other place, and I felt he gave a honest opinion about the different products they sold. And to top it off he threw in 3 bottles of their house brand juice! So overall I was extremely satisfied with my visit and purchase at Great Vapes and would recommend them to all my friends and you should too! my usual shop (vape affairs) just closed down so I had to find a new place to stock up. saw that great vapes was even closer to my house so I dropped by to see if I could get some pods for my orionQ. was greeted by Gerald who was a huge help and had a lot of knowledge on what juices wouldnt gunk up my coils. solid selection of saltnic flavors too, so I highly recommend this place. unfortunately, they didn't have 0.8ohm clear pods for the orion, but Gerald seemed to have taken my feedback to heart and said he'd look into it. 6/5 if I could. read more

Great Vapes in Sunnyvale, great shop, great location! Friendly atmosphere with plenty of help form the staff. Relaxed environment with some good music and great attitude from the knowledgeable staff. More flavors to try than I'll ever get through. The bar is really nice to kick back and vape awhile, try a bunch of flavors, meet new people and generally just get your vape on.
