I used to like the food here but ordered for the first time in a year. Not sure if there are new owners but they had no dick sauce or mustard ( the real stuff not the packets ). 1st time here. It's a take out Chinese place. We decided to eat there. They have 2 tables there. My husband had the crab Rangoon appetizer- he said it was delicious and tasted so freshly made. I had the chicken chow mein- it was fresh and Delicious. The egg roll was delicious and crispy- not greasy. My husband had the bourbon chicken. Couldn't finish our meals since we ordered the dinner combos, so now we have leftovers. read more

I have been ordering from Jennifer for 10 years plus. I'm particular about what I eat and hands down The Great Wall is the best takeout chinese food in South Florida. How can i say that? I have eaten in so many places in NY and I owned a large produce company that supplied fruit and vegetables to the top Zagat rated restaurants throughout the 5 boroughs so I considered myself knowledgable and particular. Lets take for example Her "dumplings" They are not bought from the supplier but made by hand in her restaurant. I mean lets get serious who else does that? Her shrimp dishes? Great. Large shrimp that are fresh and never overcooked The wantons in her soup? Again made by hand.. I can't believe there are people giving her bad reviews. Ordered take out tonight and it was really great ! Food was so fresh and hot, lo mein was very hot and full of meats and veggies, the sesame chicken was delicious and soft, Krab Ragoon was very filled and not at all soggy, egg roll was nice and krispy, nothing was oily.. we had it delivered, the wait time was reasonable, I called the restaurant to check in order status as it was places closed to closing time and the lady was very polite on the phone, the driver was very polite and friendly. We were very satisfied to try a new option out, definitely recommend and will be ordering again ! A 2 star priced place with a 5 star quality(which I love) ! Good Job guys !! Great Wall is more like a great disappointment. We ordered the chicken Pad Thai & it tasted nothing like pad thai...had a bunch of onions and bell peppers in it and the chicken was bland and had the texture of being boiled. So gross! We also ordered the spare ribs and they were nothing more than charred chunks of fat. The crab Rangoon are tiny and on the verge of being over fried. I will never order from here again. read more

So I normally get the orange chicken but I decided to switch it up and get chicken mei fun.... well it was terrible. Only pasta with almost no vegetables or chicken. Amazing food I thoroughly enjoyed their orange chicken, but their service was astonishingly horrible. There was girl maybe around 15 who really treated me like crap. I believe she has glasses I hope proper management can look into this employee and straighten her out. While I may be relatively new to the community my lack of knowledge is no excuse to be so rude. Placed order for delivery at 7:17 PM on a Saturday evening and had hot, fresh, tasty Chinese food at my door in twenty minutes! I got the crab rangoon, Great Wall house special rice, and the Kung pao beef - which were all little bites of heaven. Definitely will be ordering again. read more

Nope never have i been so diappointed that i actualy called to complain and got spoken to sorudley after years (6 plus) of ordering) once in a while every few months tho....ordered bu phone...10 minute delivery took 45...food is NOT the same as previous orders/ownership.,,.1 bite was rotten like 3 day old cold foos in a container.... called and said somethibg wrong, tbey did call back ,picked up un eaten food , inspected the un eaten food ...yes 2 piece of chicken to duh tey to eat, soup unopened and still hot, return call says " you ate all your meal ee cant help you" no no no ....the food was hot i called within 10 minutes and they said we ate the meal. Highly unsatisfified i never write reviews like this bur i am. Will never order or look at place again a i shop at a publix in sane location and have previoysly stopped in for tajeout in 7 yrars. This is, hands down, the worst Chinese food I have ever had. My "fried rice" had huge, clumped together chunks of white rice in it and it had no veggies or pork. The General Tso's chicken was soggy and barely warm. The wontons in the soup were extremely rubbery. We managed to get our soups down but my husband threw his entree away after two bites and I only tasted mine and tossed it. We resorted to sandwiches. Total waste of money. read more

I'm going to say that it's just "Meh" The people are friendly, the orders are made fast and come out hot. But I'm just not thrilled by the flavor. I've ordered from here twice and just wasn't very satisfied. The fried rice needs to be a little more well done IMO. Also, put some egg in there! It was just mediocre at best. I was able to fix it by throwing it in my frying pan and kicking it up a notch. Also, the last order which was 3-4 days ago, I ordered some lo mein as well. Again, it just lacked being anything more than average at best. They also forgot my second spring roll order, but they didn't charge me. Unfortunately (for me) I had made exact change, so the driver got a little extra on the tip. But that was simply my choice and not their fault. I think they run a good establishment, but the food needs to step it up a little bit. I have another Chinese place nearby that I go to now, but in this area I have yet to find a 4 or 5 star place. It seems that I have to go to Pompano or Deerfield by the beaches to get really good Chinese food. read more

Despite the reviews I ordered from here, Delivery. I got sesame chicken, pork fried rice, wonton soup, and an egg roll. And I was surprised to see it came with a 2Liter bottle of coke, which is pretty nice haven't seen any other Chinese places do that. Won ton soup tastes a little salty and bland basically like wonton dumplings in chicken broth. Sesame chicken was ehh. Nothing about it was special I've definitely had better Chinese but it was edible I didn't find it to be toss-able as other reviews suggest. read more

The food is great here. Always consistent. The meat is a little questionable-pepper steak and onion as well as all the chicken dishes. Boneless spare ribs is good. Fried rice is great! The Thai menu has great options. Love the coconut chicken! Pineapple fried rice with chicken was good when I first ordered it but then they stopped making it with curry or left out main ingredients so became inconsistent. They started messing up my order every time and would give me something else that i didn't like. We stopped ordering from them because it kept happening every time. Their food is great though! The wonton soup is delicious and consistent. Maybe your first times will be great but as far as consistency after that... Questionable. read more

Horrible service. Ordered 2 combos with a drink & a order of 2 springs rolls I placed the delivery order at 1:01 food didn't get to me until about 2:20 when I called back the restaurant to ask for a sauce I didn't mention while placing the order the girl who picked up the phone before I could have said why I was calling she asked what's my number told me to hold came back said the delivery is on the way then hung up . Didn't care to call back because that instantly pissed me off. So my food gets to me & I have no drinks called back the restaurant to explain what I was missing the lady yet again was very rude literally argued back n forth with me and stated she substituted my drinks for the spring rolls although I didn't ask for thAt she said that's what I ordered then hung up. The food from this establishment wasn't even good so save your money take it elsewhere where you'd be treated with respect & you can enjoy your food cause at Great Wall you clearly cannot read more

I never write reviews but the food at this place was sooooooo disgusting I had to write one. I ordered two chicken combination dinners and each came with what they are calling "fried rice. " The rice was more of an extremely bland yellow rice with MAYBE 4-5 pieces of pork. The bourbon chicken was beyond disgusting - every piece of chicken had chunks of fat on them, one piece had a piece of what i think was flabby chicken skin, and the texture, flavor, and look of the chicken was just gross. After the first piece i was seriously afraid to eat anymore and ended up throwing everything away. I'm not a picky eater and have had my share of mediocre chinese food but this stuff was just uneatable. On the plus side the food was delivered pretty fast and the egg rolls weren't bad. I'm a hungry pregnant woman ready to give birth and they took over an hour and a half and STILL no food at 8:50 pm. I called them back and they said they were busy. This is the most horrible experience I have ever had with delivery. I placed an order for delivery, it took them over 1 hr even though I live 5 mins away, but that wasn't a problem. After waiting, my order was incorrect, they either did not understand or got my order wrong. I called to have it corrected, I could hear the person who took my order arguing in the background, but the person on the phone seemed to understand. I advised them I would send back the incorrect item and pay the difference for the correct item. After agreeing to do so, the person who took my order incorrectly proceeded to call me back to argue what I stated I wanted, how unprofessional!!!!!!!! At that point, I wouldn't even want the corrected item, and simply delivered back the food to the store. This is the worst experience I have ever had and will not ever order from them again.
