Hibachi steak. Unfortunately the Yum Yum sauce couldn't even save this dish. Absolutely no seasoning on anything.

Ordered here for my husband birthday dinner. It is the absolute worst food I've ever tasted in my life! $20 for the words smallest fried rice. Bland rice, veggie and chewy (what is supposed to be steak) more like dog food. The lo mein was terrible as well. I'm so disappointed especially because this was a very special dinner. I will never order here again. Prices are ridiculous for nasty food and pathetic portions.

    Pad thai

Koto is right around the corner from me and relatively new. I just got a new painful tattoo and didn't feel like going out and about so I decided to Uber in. I love pad thai and am always on the hunt for the best, so I figured I'd give Koto a shot. While I know that prices through Uber are going to be a bit more expensive, Koto's were significantly more expensive. The pad thai on their menu is $15, and the same dish on Uber Eats is $19. The krab rangoon on their menu is $9 and on Uber Eats it is nearly $12. So, I paid $30 for pad thai and some krab rangoon. Here's the thing, if I make the decision to order in, knowing it's going to be more expensive, I don't mind as long as the food is great. But unfortunately that wasn't really the case here. The krab rangoon tasted stale. Certainly didn't taste like it was freshly fried, and they were cooler than room temperature and Koto is only 2 minutes away from my place. Also, there wasn't really any krab in it. It tasted more like a cheese wonton. However, the sauce they serve it with is very good. The pad thai was so insanely bland, I had to add a ton of salt to it just to make it worth my while so I didn't feel like I wasted my money. The noodles were cooked very well, were nice and chewy, but the dish again, was not hot, and I've had hot food served to me at places significantly further away. The chicken could have been cooked a bit better, it was a little too soft. The texture of the peanuts were really the only thing that saved this dish. It could have used way more bean sprouts which is a crucial pad thai element to add crunchiness and freshness to the dish. It was also served with a lemon, which I've never seen before; typically pad thai is served with a lime. For the amount of money I spent, this meal was a severe let down. I don't know if I would give Koto a second chance to see if it's better eating there. While it's in a very convenient location and the in-store menu prices are significantly more reasonable than their Uber Eats menu prices, I'd rather spend my money on pad thai that I know is going to be great.

    Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp

I used to eat at the old Hibachi in Coral Springs and was delighted when the owners opened up Koto in Coconut Creek. The service was great and to have the option of having a server take your order or ordering at your table by phone. The food came promptly and we had the Krab Rangoon and hibachi chicken and shrimp. The food was cooked good. The great thing about this place is you can get a Hibachi meal if you do not want to bother with the whole tableside cooking. I have been coming to this restaurant for several months and continue to do so.

This is a great spot if you're craving teppanyaki-style food without the Benihana price tag--or the goofy theatrics. KOTO delivers clean, fast-casual vibes with surprisingly good quality, and a menu that goes beyond just hibachi. The Chinese-owned operation keeps things efficient and fresh: they make all their apps in-house (tempura, shrimp wontons, gyoza), and the menu even sneaks in a few Chinese-American takeout classics alongside the usual Japanese staples like katsu. There's no pork on the menu whatsoever, and we didn't detect any MSG in the food--which means the seasoning runs a bit lighter than you'd find at a typical takeout joint, but the ingredients still shine. It's open until 10 pm nightly (11 pm Fridays & Saturdays), making it a clutch late-night option in the area. Adjacent tenants like Great Wall (Chinese takeout only) serve very different concepts, so there's not much overlap in their offerings. Bonus Tip: If you're comparing value and experience, Saiko-i in Parkland offers a more upscale and polished version of hibachi than Benihana, still at a lower price point. But for affordability, speed, and quality, KOTO hits a sweet spot.

Mango and strawberry teas were damn good!

Our server was energetic and very attentive. Place is very clean. Food and teas are damn good. My babygirl and I thoroughly enjoyed our last lunch before she went back to her Sr year in college! Look forward to going back, ASAP!

    Koto Gyoza

I've been wanting to try this since it's very close to my house in Winston Park Plaza. The service was great. Our waitress was very happy to see us. The place was very empty so I hope after leaving this review more folks will check it out. I had the steak and shrimp hibachi dinner. The steak was better than any steak I've had at other hibachi restaurants I have tried. My husband had the Ramen and even though he wasn't that hungry he ate the whole bowl. We also had the Koto Gyoza which was pan fried potstickers served on a fried egg. It was fabulous. The price point was really nice too as traditional hibachi places are very expensive. We will return and encourage everyone to give them a shot.

Same great food. Same great service from their previous restaurant in Coral Springs. There are no hibachi tables anymore but there is a great dine in option with wait service or take out option as well. Staff were super friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be returning.

    Hibachi chicken and filet.

We had a nice experience at Koto this evening. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and were kindly directed to scan the menu with our phones to place our order. We ordered crab rangoons to start which were lightly fried and had a good amount of filling. We ordered the filet mignon with chicken and the shrimp with filet mignon. The filet was so tender we cut it with a fork. Both were served with rice and a nice portion of hibachi veggies and you get a side of yum yum and ginger dipping sauce. We both enjoyed our dinners and agreed we would definitely go back again soon.

    Chicken & Broccoli

Food is excellent & fresh. Restaurant is very clean. Service was second to none. They were open on Christmas Day 2025. The ambiance was fabulous. The music is different but too loud, however we asked if they would turn it down, and very graciously did. The restaurant is very spacious. Tables aren't close to each other which gives a sense of privacy. Loved it!

Our Togo food bc we wanted more for tomorrow!

The room was empty when we went for dinner so we were a little nervous but decided to try it anyway AND I'm glad we did! The hibachi options were great. I got chicken and filet, and my wife got fried tofu and she loved it. Fresh, delicious, and the server was very very nice. It's not easy to see from the road but worth the trip.

Food was nasty and bland. Literally had no season or taste. Chicken wings bland. Rice bland. Chicken bland. Vegetables bland. Gravy bland.

Hibachi Steak , shrimp and chicken with fried rice.

Food is Amazing here, my kids love it! And the restaurant is so clean, will come back.

We had a wonderful lunch here…read more They weren't busy when we came in. Just a couple other tables were occupied. One room is the regular dining room, and the other is a huge sushi bar taking up the length of the restaurant. The restaurant is a Korean restaurant with Sushi and Dim Sum and a few other Chinese meals. The regular menu is large. Plus, if you are there during the week, ask for their lunch menu. My husband ordered their sushi bento box from the lunch menu. It came with a house salad with ginger dressing and miso soup to start. The salad was crisp, and he liked the ginger dressing. The miso soup was served hot and had pieces of tofu in it. The bento box had 5 pieces of sushi and a half hamachi roll (he could have also chosen a half tuna instead). He said the fish was very fresh and delicious. I started with an avocado salad -- from the main menu. It had a lot of slices of avocado on top of the lettuce with cucumbers and tomato. There was a vinegar-based dressing on top of the salad. It was good, but I preferred the ginger dressing which I got a bit of on the side. Then I ordered a few items from the Dim Sum section of the menu. I started with their turnip cake. It was perfectly cooked on the outside and soft and creamy inside. It's one of my favorites and usually if they do this one well, then all the others are good. I'd wanted to try their shrimp stuffed eggplant or the crispy shrimp with taro but they didn't have any of these in house. So I had their classic steamed crystal shrimp dumplings. I liked these as well. We had very good and friendly service throughout. We even got a taste of two of their kimchi's as a comp offering. There are a number of Korean dishes and combos with different soups and grilled meats and fishes that we'd like to try. I know we will be back here -- I'm hoping that it is sooner rather than later.

All the fish was very good and they use fresh yellowfin which is a big plus. I also had an appetizer of Korean pork dumplings which were simple and tasty. Unfortunately they didn't have Uni or any of the fish bellies. The chef said they couldn't buy them bc they're brand new and don't have the customers yet. Hopefully they'll speculate soon, bc people aren't going to be happy when they do show us and several top offerings are unavailable. I will definitely be back and I look forward to trying Korean entrees and dim sum soon. Ambience is nice and comfortable.

Food looked good prepared but not as good as it looked. Many traditional Vietnamese and Chinese dishes served, but not close to authentically tasting. We had the General Tao's chicken which I personally think I've had better with an order of take out before. As for the pho noodle soup, broth was bland and seems like it was simple beef broth used from a can as it was missing lots of the depth of flavors and herbs like a real traditional pho broth should be. Both dishes tasted more commercialized than authentic. However service was fast and our waiter brought the food out timely despite being a busy night.

Parking was easy, with a metered lot conveniently located across the street. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and requested outdoor seating so we could enjoy the waterfront views and watch the boats pass by. The atmosphere was relaxing, scenic, and definitely one of the highlights of the experience. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had a great personality. Table snacks was a small bowl of popcorn. To start, we ordered a Pearl Bourbon Smash and a Dragon Margarita. The Bourbon Smash was so good that we ordered a second one. The Margarita wasn't my favorite, but I finished it and followed it up with a Sensei Old Fashioned. For our entrees, we ordered the Korean BBQ Bulgogi and the Korean Steak Chimicurri (spelled that way on the menu, so I'm not sure if it was intentional). The Bulgogi portion was generous, and we really wanted to love it, but unfortunately the meat arrived cold. That was disappointing, especially after being told that everything is made from scratch. My husband's entree was served about 10 minutes before mine, which wasn't ideal. Generally, guests dining together should be served at the same time. I encouraged him to start eating so his meal wouldn't get cold, but unfortunately it already was. My steak arrived hot and was cooked slightly more than the medium temperature I requested, leaning closer to medium-well. Despite that, I still enjoyed it. It was served with jasmine rice and maduros, which complemented the dish nicely. Overall, we had a lovely dining experience. The waterfront setting, pleasant service, and enjoyable cocktails made for a great outing. We would definitely consider returning, especially to combine dinner with one of the boat tours. To top it off, our server gave us a bag of cotton candy. I felt like a kid. I haven't eaten cotton candy in years
