It was everything we were craving and the service was great. The dining area was very clean and the menu was large. When you walk in, you get a table with menus, then you order at the bar and take a number to your table, then you bring your number up to the bar to pay when you're done. The service was very quick as well. The dining room was pretty busy and takeout orders were constant. Our meals included rice, soup, and our choice of either an egg roll or 2 cheese rangoons. I'm not sure if this is everyday or just a Sunday thing, I don't think the menu mentioned this deal. The portions were very large and we both took boxes home. The prices were reasonable for EGR and the portions received. We will definitely stop in again:

As far as my 'fast food scale' goes, I really enjoy this place and I definitely go there for Chinese takeout a lot more than I should! It's family owned and operated with fast and friendly service. The owners are super kind and their adorable young kids are always there too, so watching them make a ruckus is always a treat as I wait for my order :) Their "Bean Curd (Tofu) & Mixed Vegetables" dish is super good. And they always make it extra spicy for me! They're very good about making accommodations or variations to their dishes to suit different tastes or dietary needs. I'm also a big fan of the their vegetable fried rice. Rice Wok's food is inexpensive, consistent, and their portions are very generous (I always get enough to have a leftover meal the following day). It's more of a takeout spot than an dine-in place, but they still have a small eat-in area that's always clean and tidy, as is their kitchen and waiting area. Rice Wok is the best American-style Chinese takeout I've had in GR so far in 5 years I've lived here (trust me, there are some really gross ones around these parts!). The wonton soup is made with a broth that seems canned - kind of dark gold and not like real chicken broth you find in other Chinese restaurants' wonton soup. Check your order before you leave. One of the recent times we ordered, we ordered 2 orders of wonton soup and got home to find out we had 1 wonton and 1 egg drop. They also don't give you much sweet and sour sauce and sometimes they haven't put it in our order. I always remind them or ask for another one to make sure we get some.
