Fast service and decent prices but the quality is poor. The texture of the chicken was soft like highly processed food and swimming in sauce. It's on par with frozen Chinese supermarket food. SUMMARY: I'd give it four stars overall, but it gets docked a star for such small portions. For the price, Beijing Kitchen is better and has larger portions. We had pork fried rice, spicy general chicken, and mongolian beef. The food is pretty good. Not great, but good. Meat was a bit tough at times. There are some niceties here that are often lacking in Chinese food anymore: decent fried rice, broccoli with the chicken. But the portions were tiny, and the prices online were not up-to-date, so the bill was a bit higher than expected. Overall, it's better than a lot of Chinese places around, but I can't justify the high price, compounded by the tiny portions. See my pictures of the dinner portion sizes. I might come here again, but Blue Ginger or Beijing Kitchen are still way better, and the only thing that would make me come here is if location/proximity makes sense at the time. read more

I ordered food from Rice Wok through a delivery service recently. I've never been to Rice Wok and it was my first time trying it, but I was craving some Chinese food and I had a deal for one of the food delivery services. I usually order the same types of dishes from Chinese places especially as my baseline when trying a different place, so I got the Family dinner for two with Mongolian beef and chicken with green beans for my boyfriend and I. The dinners came with white rice, two crab rangoon, and two egg rolls. The food was all hot when I received it, and the portions were comparable to my favorite, Beijing Kitchen -- definitely enough for leftovers. The beef was a little stringy and not the best quality, but the chicken was tender and the beans were a bit crispy, not overcooked. I didn't really care for the egg roll as they were not super fresh, but the crab rangoon were good. The family dinner for two was around $18 which is a great value for the portions anyway. I don't think I'd order from Rice Wok again anytime soon but I was glad to try it out. read more

This is our favorite spot for take out! We've tried a bunch of different things and it's all great. There was a 1.5hr wait for our food tonight--and it was so worth it! They're doing a great job with precautions right now, too. Well posted signs explaining 2 people are allowed in at a time. Folks waiting in their cars and the staff is bringing food out to customers, when possible! Portion sizes are huge. These are the "large" orders of each--AFTER our family of 4 was finished. Let me start by saying: my boyfriend likes their soup and their crab rangoon is pretty good... I tend to order sesame chicken at Chinese places - I have been disappointed more than once with the chicken here. Super chewy. Food takes a bit longer than I expect for the quality. We waited 50 minutes in the restaurant for: soup, crab rangoon, and fried rice. We purposely made a small simple order, hoping we wouldn't be there long. The cashier usually working is a boy who can't be much older than 10. There are other children hanging around as well, toys taking up some of the tables near the back... that kind of thing. Definitely not a professional establishment. Not sure if there's a method to their madness of order management - I checked on my order and saw my ticket was hanging between sets of tickets of people that came before/after me. My experience with Rice Wok is limited to their soups and some appetizers, but everything I have had has been outstanding, and very fresh. I usually get their hot n' sour soup, and I must say, it may be the best I have had, anywhere. It's loaded with egg, there is a nice kick to it, and lots of variety. Plus, it comes with crispy fried noodles on the side for a little crunch. I've also had their dumpling soup, which too was great, and loaded with their home-made dumplings and chunks of pork. Rice Wok's kitchen is right behind the counter, and often you'll catch a glimpse of the cook preparing your food. The place is always very clean, and the workers are appreciative of their customers, many of whom I seem to see in there every time I am there. Being near where I work, they are an office favorite, and I have yet to hear a complaint about any dish from Rice Wok. read more

I ran in here only because it is close to home and my daugher requested Chinese food. The guy who took my order and cooked was quite nice, and the food was ready quickly. I ordered pork lo mein and white rice for my kids and they chowed down, pronouncing it delish. I confess that I only tried a bite of each container, but the bites I had were really good.
