Have to say this is the least liked GC of all 3 of them. Portions are thin and you have a you rude blonde server at the drive thru- She doesn't say hi , thank you...nothing but the amount due and almost too cOnsumed with something else for common courtesy. The same thing occurred with my boss and co-workers, otherwise I'm definitely not one to complain and yelp but after 4 lunchtime trips, you should know what's going on. We LOVE this restaurant, and eat here several times a week when we are home from touring! Always delicious, very clean, and friendly employees. I see a few reviews that are very negative. On the contrary, NOT ONCE have we received bad service or less than delicious food. As for the prices being slightly higher, well...you get what you pay for! The food here is superior to any other fast food in the area, so it's not out of line for them to charge a couple bucks more in my opinion. I've been seeing this place a lot on my way home, so of course I had to go and check it out. So far I've only tasted their Gyro sandwich and French fries. The Gyro was stacked of meat. They put enough that I could of just ordered an extra pita and had a meal for two. But I didn't mind because I was able to save some for later. The fries are pretty good as well. I love this place. Although they recently raised their prices sharply, which took a bit of time to accept, their food is awesome and their portions are generous. Got home and my salad was missing the dressing and had almost no meat on it. I get this all the time so I know it comes with more than 2 small strips of gyro. I wasn't sure if this was the same Greek Chicken fast food restaurant that I used to go to five years ago but still took the chance because of the sign. I was not only surprised but very satisfied with the food. We had the Gyros plate which was perfect for two people. The fries were great and of course the meat was better than the last time I had it. I thought the kebab shop was better but after having had what I had for lunch I think I will not be going back there anytime soon. Question is, is there a Greek Chicken in San Diego? Prices are quite high, but not bad for a good chicken or greek pita ($6). If you do not like onion, very important to tell them because their tzaziki is FULL of onions. I've been going here since they opened and while the food is good their customer service is continuously bad. Tonight I called in an order and was told 10 minutes. I get there 10 minutes later, pay for my order and watched at least 5 people walk up and order (without phoning ahead) and get their orders. I was told twice " just a few more minutes". When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they didn't have one on site. Super frustrating experience after the other. We also like the fried zucchini, their shakes (please bring back the option to get a malt as well!), the Greek salad and a few other things of the menu. I stopped by here for a quick small bite. When I walked it I found it to be very nice and clean which is always welcomed. The ladies behind the counter seemed to be very helpful and friendly. I ordered 2 pieces of chicken and they looked very good. When I started to eat them I found that some of the flavors (mostly held in the skin) were over whelming. The meat itself was perfect. I am not sure if the skin was suppose to be that strong but that part of the chicken I was not a fan of. For now I am going to give a 3 star, but I plan to visit this place again and get a full meal and will update my review. read more

I have only tried the Chicken Salad and it is AMAZING! It comes with fresh pita bread and the dressing is on the side. This Salad doesn't really need any dressing with the tons of chicken they lay on top of this salad. No skimping on any ingredients. I gave it 4 stars because the customer service needs a little help; maybe instead of chatting it up you can pay attention to the customer and not have to repeat my order 4 times. read more

OBSESSED!! Can't say enough good things about this place. I used to work out on the road and this was my frequent stop when in the area. Although it is a little pricy (I would never spend $10.25 on a salad anywhere else) it is worth every penny. The salads are always fresh and it seems the chicken just came off the grill. Still warm and has so much flavor! You actually look forward to eating a salad... Which is hard for me. Now that I am not on the road my trips aren't as often as before which is a bummer because I crave it constantly. The only damper is that all of their locations are out in east county. I've noticed the common theme here at Greek Chicken is that when they mess up your order, they tell the customer to bring the food item back to prove they screwed up the order in order to refund your money. What a joke this place has become, at one point they put the customer first now they put the customer last, give you an attitude and then tell you to waste your gas money to prove them wrong in order to get a refund because they messed up the order.
