Really loved the building and atmosphere. Clean and modern but reasonably priced Greek food. Very good and tasty. Ordered a catering order but had falafels at the store. They were so good, just wish there was a little bit more sauce than they gave me. Will definitely come back. The only negative was that they did not have the proper packing materials for a catering order. No boxes or bags. It's a small way that they can improve to get better. For small parties coming in there are no problems here at all. Like I said will definitely be back!

Someone recommended that I visit this restaurant, but before I go, I should download the app because they have a really good rewards program. I did just that, but didn't understand the rewards program. Upon my arrival to the store, I placed a order for a large Gyro for a friend, and a medium chicken Gyro for myself, and a large fry. I asked a cashier about the rewards program, and she seemed as if she didn't understand it herself. She kept saying some thing about my phone number. I never used my phone number for nothing. I just signed up with my email and didn't know that I had to put my phone number in the tablet to earn rewards after I paid for my food. As I was paying the cashier reached her hand over to the credit card machine/tablet and started pushing the buttons not allowing me to put my phone number into the machine. I found it to be very rude because I have never had someone put their hand on the Credit card machine as I was paying. I really didn't like that and I don't think I'll ever go back to this location. Someone needs to tell that young lady that was working yesterday around 3:12PM never to do that stuff to anyone, and also learn more about their rewards program, so she can keep people coming back, instead of chasing people away. They're really lucky that I spent $20.20 there.

Tasty! True to name, Greek Express is a nice option for a drive thru lunch in the Polaris area. Our food was clearly cooked to order and came out piping hot. We loved the portion size, freshness, and flavor on our gyros. Reasonable pricing too. Docking one star because they forgot our add-ones of feta and banana peppers (which cost $.50 extra each). Didn't seem intentional and not a huge deal/dealbreaker though.

This is one of our go-to places for quick Greek food close to home. I always get the mini gyro, because it's just right. We discovered that the kids meals seem to be a waste, and now we just get our toddler a mini gyro, too. We also don't get combos. We just order our mini gyros and a large side of fries for everyone to share. The falafel is good, but we don't care for the hummus. Since the pandemic, we have just used the drive through, but service is speedy and accurate. What more could you ask of a drive through? Overall an average experience, but one we keep going back to for the sake of convenience and the fact that we know what we like from here.

Order: Small Gyro, fries & drink $6.69 Small Falafel $3.59 Hummous Dip $4.99 Kids meal - chicken fingers, fries, drink $6.49 Walnut Baklava $1.99 The Gyros are very moist with the perfect amount of toppings and sauce. The Pita is super fresh and tasty. The kids meal chicken fingers were white meat, but they were very dry and over cooked. Over all I was disappointed with the kids meal. For $6.49 it seemed way over priced for fingers fries and a drink. If the fingers had been moist and fresh tasting then maybe it would have been ok but they weren't. The Hummous was not any good, and I would recommend passing on this appetizer. The pita was good, but the Hummous tasted really strange. It was like the seasoning was missing, but it also seemed old or something. The taste was really off on this one. The Baklava was ok, it was rather dry and didn't taste freshly made. The Falafel was tasty, it was made just right. Stopped in here for a quick lunch and really enjoyed it! The prices are great and you leave feeling satisfied! I really enjoyed the falafel Greek salad and I can definitely see myself getting it often. The spanakopita was crispy outside and creamy on the inside- perfect! My friend really enjoyed the gyro! I thought the baklava was a little dense compared to most of the ones I've had but the flavor was great! Also have to mention that both the employees and the owner are extremely nice and make you feel very welcome as soon as you enter the doors!

Wow, in ordered the chicken sub and it was just perfect. Lettuce tomato onion and Greek sauce on the side, so yummy. We also ordered the chicken and rice which was not bad, the rice was a bit too plain. Service here is top notch as then counter person was very friendly and polite. The side counter with cutlery and napkins is nice and neat.

I love the concept of Greek Express. It is quick Greek food with a drive thru which gives it a "fast food" feel. I have had some good experiences here and some bad experiences. The chicken gyro (my favorite) is pretty standard. Their gyro sauce is really tasty, but they do not put enough inside the gyro. The most recent time I visited, the chicken was pretty dry. I like that I can get a gyro combo with fries and a drink for under $10! The only advice I have is to stay away from the hummus. I took two bites of pita with hummus and threw the whole container away. Overall, this is a decent spot to stop for a quick lunch in the Polaris area. read more

Me and my husband are like nom nom nom super good. We arrived earlier but the owner greeted us and welcomed us in. All the ingredients are super fresh, like the tea, the tomato, lettuce. We had a pleasant lunch there. read more

I cannot believe this place has four stars, you people need to get out more often. My "Supreme Gyro", was smaller than a large gyro at Yanni's (Best Greek place in town). It also came out extremely quickly, indicating it had obviously been sitting there & was not freshly made. The fries were decent, I suppose but the "cajun" topping is nothing more than paprika. All in all the place is average at best & I do not plan on going back. read more

It was great when it opened but, what happened to the Greek Express? My husband and I visited Saturday August 20, 2011. I ordered a mini chicken gyro and a spinach and feta pie. My husband ordered a spinach and feta pie and Dolmathes herein (stuffed grape leaves). My chicken in the gyro was dry and tough. The spinach and feta pie were greasy; the crust on the bottom of the phyllo dough were soaked and saturated with oil. My husband returned them to the counter and asked for some that weren't sitting in grease; they informed him they did not have any. Last but, not least the stuffed grape leaves. I like more salt on my food than my husband but, they were so salty they were inedible. When the Greek Express first opened they were great. The chicken in the gyros were moist and tender, the spinach and feta pie were crispy and not grease sodden and the stuffed grape leaves were delectable. Did the management get sloppy, by not checking and tasting the food? Did the economy cause them to cut back and serve unpresentable food? What happened to the Greek Express? read more

I love this place. The gyros are tasty, filling, and reasonably priced. The owner is very friendly and often makes sure we are happy. Today a colleague and I walked there for lunch, and it started pouring rain. An employee came out and gave us a ride back to work. Thank you so much, Greek Express! read more

The best gyro I've had in Columbus hands down. Perfectly seasoned meat and not stingy with the tzasiki sauce. Employees are genuinely friendly and helpful. Their mini gyros are a perfect size so you can eat Greek without it having to be a big heavy meal. And the prices are amazing. They also don't cringe when I say 'gyro' like the Clevelander I am. :-) Soups and salads are delicious and I can't get over the value. Why eat any other kind of fast food when you can get this kind of quality and taste for the same if not lower prices and it fills you up? Inside is super clean and comfortable. Love it. So happy I work nearby. read more

I feel like I could make a much better gyro from scratch at home. Theirs is very bready, and loaded with tons of veggies and very little meat in comparison. It is all fresh-tasting, but reminds me more of a salad. read more

One of my favorite places to grab quick greek, the fries are perfect and their seasoning is right on par. The only thing I wish is that they would chop or shred their chicken because it gets hard to handle in the pita. I eat here all the time and should probably branch out but their Gyro's are just so damn good! read more

Long time favorite, I started going to the owners location on High St across from Graceland in 1999. Best Gyro in town. They opened the Greek Express on Sancus and have been going ever since. Extremely nice staff and the owner always says hi and recognizes you. Food is always consistent, and super fresh and tasty. What should be hot is always hot, and the salads are super fresh and cold. Restaurant and restroom is immaculate. Couldn't recommend more, my #1 go to place. read more

Nice to have a Greek place with drive thru!! Fries were awesome but falafel was the most tasteless I have ever had in my life! I love falafel and I was so looking forward to having one but this was not it. Hot and served on a warm and soft pita but absolutely no taste even with sauce which I also did not like and way too much lettuce. Overall I would go here again even if just for fries but never for falafel unless they add some spice and taste to it. read more

I had a hankering for a gyro and baklava so I pulled in here. I would have been better off heading further south towards my campus destination. The baklava was too chilled and a very small piece for the price. The gyro had hardly any sauce on it and very few tomatoes - didn't resemble their menu photos at all. Usually the food is good. Had a bad experience with under cooked and forgotten food. When i called the person on the phone said there was no manager, so i had to call a manager from a different store. Finally the GM and owner called me back .They only replaced half of my order even though the whole meal was ruined. This was the owners decision. Don't think we will be back read more

This is the worst experience I have ever had. We ordered some food. Got home and found out that it was not what we ordered. First of all - since we don't eat meat, getting meat was aqweful, and meant we cant eat the food. And when we called to complain, and talk to the manager- he was so rude. Blaming us for his employee issues. We did receive one item we could eat. And that was just so so. I will never go back!!! Horrible!!!!!!! read more

I like this restaurant as its within walking distance of work. Restaurant is clean, good decor, and food and pricing is very good. I actually prefer this place to Krazy Greek which is also nearby. I unfortunately found a woman's hair in my gyro once, but they completely owned the mistake and immediately replaced my food, provided a complimentary gift certificate, and apologized profusely. They did more than enough to win my business back, but I'll still always check my food carefully there. read more

Tender, sweet, and delicious!

When I came here, the server accidentally spilled some of the soup on me and was very apologetic. They offered me complimentary soup to make up for the accdient. The chicken is so crispy on the outside but so juicy on the inside - the PERFECT katsu texture and the sauce is amazing! When we went, it took a bit longer to get our food but they explained that they were understaffed and adjusting for demand. They seem pretty locally run and they were doing the best they can. I really appreciated the warm, personal touch in the end and would definitely say the food is 110% worth the wait. all in all 100/10! Definitely worth going out of our way for.

Tried this place on a Sunday when my regular Greek place was closed. Ordering online for pickup was user friendly and super easy. Employees were super nice and my food was ready when I got there. The place seemed really clean, although I was just inside for 2 minutes. The Food; the gyros were good- both the lamb and the chicken. The medium is good sized- very generous. The pitas were not as soft as they should have been, but they were ok. The chicken kabob dinner was amazing, as well as the Greek salad that came with it. The Spanakopita and the Falafel were excellent. The hummus was seriously horrible- don't bother with that! I wish they had tabouli on the menu but they don't. Visited this place last day and the service is fast and friendly and the food is fresh. Gyros are pretty much all the same, as gyro meat is almost all coming from the same source, but what makes the difference is the sauce. Fries were good too but I ask them to add seasoning. Will be back for sure! read more
