I came with colleagues for a weekday lunch and everyday had a nice meal. We had 2 appetizers to share and all got entrees. We also bought a bottle of rosé. It was a quiet lunch and the place had only about 4 tables of customers the whole time. Yet, it took a rather long time for our 2 apps to come out (30 minutes??). Both the zucchini chips (basically fried zucchini) and the Greek meatballs come with a dipping cup of tsatziki. They were all good. Meatballs were 4 small in an order and the zucchini breading was breaking off most pieces, but, the flavors were good. I had the lamb Burger, which comes with Greek fries, and ordered it medium - it came out fully cooked through. Still, was a tasty burger. The fries were also nicely seasoned, a bit tangy and covered in feta. My coworkers all liked their meals too. I was particularly pleased with the wine we bought - a great rosé from Macedonia. They still charge a credit card fee. There's some parking around the building and always street/metered parking. Our server also did a fine job and I think it was generally a good time for everyone. read more

We ordered for 6 people. 3 Yeero Pita sandwiches, a Yeero plate, salmon plate, Greek fries, spicy pita, hummus. The serving sizes were a great value. I found the vegetables to be oily but that didn't compromise the crunch of them. Everything tasted very fresh and clean. The salmon was cooked perfectly. I'm late in sending this review -- we ate at Greektown in October, and all said we can't wait to go back! Three of us went -- on a Friday, even on the early side (5:30) the place was hopping and tables were already reserved. So we felt lucky we got in. Definitely make a reservation! We had two pita sandwiches -- one gyro and one chicken -- as well as a salad. I had the gyro; I have to say, I always love gyros, but hate how I feel after I eat them. This one was EXCELLENT -- not greasy at all; I don't know what they did with the onions, maybe they just had a good balance, but I didn't spend the next three days with gyro on repeat as I hiccuped, saying under my breath, "But it was worth it..." There was no agida. Just excellent food. The consumer of the chicken sandwich agreed, as did the salad eater. Also, a shout out to the absolutely lovely server. I had a feeling this is a pretty local place, as diners kind of looked at us when we came in like something out of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." Fantastic Greek food with a cozy setting. Our server Mary taking great and attentive care of us. We tried the pork chops which were seasoned well but a tad over making them just a bit tough. We also had the Yerro which was spectacular. The pita was tender, fresh, and delicious and the sanded had the perfect tzatziki sauce. There was a Greektown in Hoboken that I had been to many times, but it recently closed. However, I was thrilled to see that there was what I believe to be their other outpost...this location in Pearl River. The logo and menu were exactly the same, so that got my hopes up, and my tastes of the takeout meal confirmed that the PR Greektown was at least very similar to the Hoboken version, if not exactly the same. We started by sharing the "Eggplant Salad", which was like a cross between baba ghanoush and a chicken salad, since it contained eggplant, olive oil, diced celery, raw onions, potentially a drop of mayo, etc. It was smokey, briny, a little creamy, and simply delicious! It was paired with some warm pita that was thin and chewy. We also sampled the Greek Meatballs, which were made from beef, pork, veal, and loads of seasoning. The meat trio globes had been grilled, giving them a decent char on the outside, but maintaining their fluffiness on the inside. They were hearty and flavorful, without being overly dense. I also selected the Grilled Chicken entree with two sides. The four large chicken strips were tender and well-marinated. Its companion plate of grilled vegetables included peppers, onions, squash, and more, while the sauteed spinach side dish was packed with sliced garlic cloves. I also grabbed a few Greek fries from a family member's Lamb Kebab Platter, but they were a bit mushy. In fact, that person was not a fan of their lamb, which they had requested be cooked medium. Some meat pieces were more well-done and others were chewy and red-centered. It was a real bummer, since those of us with chicken dishes were thrilled. While most of us would order from there again, I think the person who ordered the lamb would feel otherwise. read more

I read about this place online recently and I've been wanting to try it. We went on a Friday night. I called around 6 o'clock and they said that they were really busy but they were able to see us at seven. When we got there, we waited a little for someone to check us in, but I'll forgive it because they are still very new. Our waiter Cole was outstanding very attentive and working really hard. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. For appetizers we had the Greek chips and the Tzatziki sauce was outstanding. Also had the fried cheese that comes out on fire. I love the baked feta!!!! I would return just for that alone. The Gyro meat is perfectly cut but is a little too salty for me. Reservations are recommended because this restaurant gets really busy and has limited space. I do recommend this restaurant. read more

A bit of confusion when we arrived. Website says no reservations for parties under 6, we were 2. But they still expected us to have one. Same for the group of 3 who came in after us. They did get us a table but the other party left. Everyone was very friendly and the restaurant is very nice and welcoming. We got the Trio Appetizer with the Fresh Beets, Spicy Feta Dip, and Eggplant Salad. All three were delicious. My wife got the Yeero Platter and I had the Grilled Seafood. The Yeero was great, meat was on par with better Greek restaurants in the area. The meat was shaved not the less enjoyable slabs. The salad and fries were also delicious. The grilled seafood could have been better. The calamari and octopus tasted great but were a bit tougher than I like. My wife enjoyed the shrimp. I had the salmon the next day. It also tasted great but was a bit dry. We did not get dessert but the people next to us did and it looked great. In fact all the food around us looked great. Prices were reasonable and we'll definitely be back to try again. Hopefully they will get some of the startup kinks ironed out. Also hoping the BYOB lasts a while, but it is NY. read more

Came here last minute on a Friday night. We called for a reservation for 5 of us and when we arrived, we waited at the entrance for a little but it gave us some time to look at the decor and see what other people were eating . Once seated, our waiter, Cole was great. He was full of personality and had us laughing. For appetizers, we ordered the Greektown Chips which were perfectly fried and came with tzatziki which was yummy. In addition, we ordered the Saganaki, which actually came out on fire, it was very different. The dish came with pita and was very good. For my meal, I ordered the Yeero Platter, which came with greek salad, pita and a choice of greek fries or rice, I chose the greek fries which were very good. My husband ordered the Yeero Pita, which he said was good, but he wish he ordered the platter because it came with much more food. The restaurant is a BYO, which is great and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, I definitely plan on coming back! read more

Nothing special here. Gyros ( Yeero lol)are standard. Lamb Gyro was not tasty not much,( little tomatos , onions , tzaziki) in the pita with the meat. The regular were average and small as well. Not the normal size pita. Appetizers were ok, "Saganaki" with Feta?? Service was horrible. We waited a long time. The meals for a table of 6 came at different times. Absolutely outstanding! I had to find a Greek restaurant halfway between me and my friend, the other half Greek Jew from Stuyvesant High School; we had not seen each other in fifty years. He's in Roseland NJ and I'm in Ossining NY so this was it and I am SO HAPPY it was; food is sumptuous (best lentil soup ever, chicken and rice is delectable), service is impeccable (Italian dude, I had to teach him basic Greek but he's awesome), atmosphere is cozy, comfortable and inviting. My wife and I ate dinner at Greek town and it was delicious. The restaurant is only open for a few weeks, so they don't have their liquor license yet, but you go to eat.
