Let me preface this review with this: I AM NOT GREEK. However, I have tried a lot of Greek food in Phoenix, and this is by far the best cheap Greek eatery that I have experienced. From the friendly service to the smell as you walk in, this place doesn't disappoint. I usually do the Gyro platter, but sometimes I'll do some Falafel and the Chick Shawarma. Everything I have tried is delicious and the service is always fast and friendly. It can be a bit crowded in here around lunch, but that just means this place is doing something right! If you like to avoid crowds, you can take it to-go or eat outside where there are a few tables. There is places in the same shopping center to grab dessert or a coffee or just shop. As far as low-priced, quick Greek food, this place is my go-to and I hope you will love it as much as I do! read more

If you are a vegetarian, they have a veggie or Greek salad gyro. I got the Greek salad one and it stated great. The eggplant was good and the kiddo liked the falafel. We love this place so much we go once a week and had them cater our wedding reception/party!! Everyone knows it's good, so it's usually pretty busy, but they work fast and it's worth the wait. I've had most everything on the menu and I can't say enough good stuff about it. They do something different to the gyro meat that makes it so much better. The pita bread is fresh and awesome and the hummus is just as good. The portions are large as well, my wife and I can split the supreme kabob plate and be plenty full when we leave. My 4 year old daughter even loves this place, and she doesn't eat from the kids menu. read more

I've been eating from this restaurant for years. They never disappoint with their food or service. Both are absolutely amazing! Everything is so flavorful, clean, and FRESH. When you order TOGO from a restaurant, it's usually not as good as eating in... However, that's not the case with Greek Wraps. It's still just as mouthwatering (which is so rare). We tried this place after our usual Gyro spot was closed one day and have never gone back. We've had it all. And EVERYTHING is delicious. The gyros, the shawarma, the kebabs, EVEN THE FISH is delicious! My husband is a snob about his hummus and he cannot get enough of their hummus. One tip though - get extra garlic sauce. You won't regret it. I love dipping my fries in it. Plus it's local business. The staff is always so pleasant and helpful. We love this place and eat there at least twice a month even though we don't eat out often. It's worth it. Everything on the menu is worth it. Just go here. You'll love it. read more

First of all, let me say how busy it was- but so worth the short wait. We ordered the flaming feta as a starter and it was DELICIOUS to say the least. The bread was fresh and hot, and slightly crispy which was perfect for our liking. For an entree we ordered the Chicken Shawarma Plate and Chicken Shawarma Salad. The salad was really good, and the chicken was really yum. The plate- eh. The rice had no flavor or taste, and the chicken they use was obviously chicken thigh, it's was tender and cooked great but was no my favorite. I ended up eating half of my boyfriend salad and only the hummus off of my plate. Overall, I loved the salad and appetizer. I also want to mention that there were 2 young guys working there, and they were incredibly nice and came to Cheka on us twice and had really superb customer service.
