Everything is so flavorful and fresh! They people who work here are always very friendly and make sure you have everything you need. I accidentally went here instead of Greek Raps, which was the place I initially had in mind. So instead of listening to Aristotle drop lines to a sick beat, I was treated to a pleasantly tasteful and authentic meal that Caesar himself would have been proud of. First off, HERE'S A TIP: Call them ~20 minutes ahead of time to call in your order... or else you will be waiting there for your food for a long while. The food itself is 5 out of 5. Again, the gyro plate is phenomenal. It comes with generous amount of rice, hummus, gyro, side salad, pita bread, and tzatziki sauce. The steak kabob is also delicious. Every time I come here, I have to get both the gyro plate and the steak kabob because I cannot go without one or the other. I docked off one star because of the service. I was so excited to try this restaurant while out from LA to visit my sister. It had great reviews and I was pleasantly surprised to see how packed it was upon entering the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered our food "To Go" and we didn't wait too long for our orders. Regarding the food ... The Tabuleh was too coarse and chewy with a heavy olive oil taste that I did not expect; the hummus and spanakopita were meh; the falafel patties were dry and flavored with curry which I have never tasted before in a falafel patty and am not sure I like; the tzatziki sauce tasted more like mayonnaise than Greek yogurt with no dill or cucumber flavors; the handmade bread is probably best eaten there because it was very chewy and tough as it got colder ... and the worst yet, they did NOT pack my dessert! The Overall, our food was ok ... Not great. I think the meat dishes are probably better though I don't think I'll be coming back regardless. read more

They are almost always busy and for good reason, the food is freshly prepared after you order, the portions are great and the prices are very reasonable. We eat here quite frequently and the food NEVER disappoints. We came here on a very busy Friday and unfortunately, there was a delay getting our food (rice was still cooking) so we waited over 40 minutes for food, which with a toddler equates to 3 hours lol. When we brought it to their attention, they were very apologetic and accommodating. They did everything in their power to take care of us. We really appreciated the customer service. Since our first visit to new york my fiance and I have been obsessed with finding a decent new york street style falafel sandwich here. We have learned its all about the tahina sauce, very important. And a nice crispy on the outside ball of falafel, not the grainy or soggy stuff you tend to run into here. Well after a few complete failures, I'm looking at you pita jungle, we have found what we believe to be the closest possible substitution here at greek wraps. Their falafel is spot on, crispy out side and moist inside, and they're tahina sauce is wonderfully reminiscent of that with which we would drown our sandwiches with in new york. On the downside there is always a wait to order, despite being rushed when you are at the counter. read more

I tried this place this weekend at the suggestion of friends who live nearby. The place is very clean and had an open kitchen, which is always a plus in my book. The service was very good and we got our food quickly. They are grilling some great looking beef and chicken here, yet sadly I didn't see any lamb on the menu. I had the tri-tip kebab sandwich and my wife had the gyro. Both were very tasty but what really made the meal was the 10'' pitas they are making from scratch. They have a 6" pita that appears to be sourced from Kronos (the large Greek food supply company, not the young Titan and son of Ouranos and Gaea) but the 10" pita is homemade and ridiculously good. It has more in common with a buttery roti than a pita. Big-ups to my friend Emir for cluing me in on them. We also had the Flaming Feta, it was fantastic, we'll definitely be getting it again. If you like heat, be sure to ask them for their Greek hot sauce, it was a very spicy green sauce that had a unique flavor that I really enjoyed. The only downside to the meal was the quality of the veggies in the sandwiches. The tomatoes were pale and mealy and the lettuce was a little wilted. I'll be returning to Greek Wraps, the 10" pita is something I'll be craving until I have another crack at it. There were also several other dishes on the menu that looked to have a lot of potential. Greek Wraps makes me happy because it's delish gyro only minutes from home. Their gyro pita is very filling. Lots of well seasoned meat. Not dry. Pita is fluffy. Everything comes out hot. It's a small establishment and the service can be slow when it's busy, but the food makes up for it. I once got the falafel and hummus plate. I've been wanting to order it again, but I'm usually craving meat when I go. Hummus serving was huge. It lasted me 3 meals. I never had falafel before so I'm not expert but it tasted good to me. Ate everything within two days. I'll be going back to GW for more Greek food cravings. read more

Saw the amazing reviews but was dissapointed with the food. Got the kebab combo plate with beef kebob and some other beef. Both were very chewy and wasn't as flavorful as I would have imagined. So usually I'm a chicken shawarma or greek salad kinda gal but my aunt recommended that I try the steak shawarma WRAP (not the pita) and OMG it's amaze-balls!! It's probably not the healthiest thing one could select from the menu (which by the way, there are plenty of healthier options there) but seriously, you have to try it at least once if you're a meat eater. This is by far the best place I've had Greek in the valley. The serving sizes are huge, the veggies are fresh, and the meat is tender. I order take out from here all the time and I have never had to wait for my food when I get there. There's been a couple occasions with a slightly rude person on the phone or I end up missing a salad or side item in my take out order. However, when the food is as good as it is everything else gets overlooked. I highly recommend giving this place a try but for the best experience I would dine-in. read more

King Gyro is still king of local Greek places in my book. A patient of mine recommended the location due to Armenian authenticity. Well, I thought the gyros was good and filling. One of my favorite Greek restaurants to eat at. My very first time was last summer with my friend. We were taking classes during the summer and decided to eat here. She had been before but I hadn't. Then I went again with my boyfriend these last couple times. And this last time was my favorite because I discovered my favorite dish. The steak shawarma sandwich. It was sooooo good! If you don't like steak, there is a chicken version of this. Oh and I found out one of my friends from elementary school works here which is really cool. Good food and friendly pekoe. :) the steak shawarma had some type of seasoning that reminds me of Indian food. Not only reminds me but they use it in Indian food. Hands down, best gyro I ever had. They were the first Greek restaurant I ever tried so I ventured out and tried other ones and those other places just don't seem to compare. Their food is delicious, portions are large, their French fries are crispy, and the workers there are super helpful and friendly! They also have a touch-screen soda dispensing machine (when I first saw one of these I thought it was the coolest invention ever!) The only disadvantage I see with this is that it slows up the time for customers to get their drinks since there is only one and there are so many options to choose from. Considering how busy it can get during lunch time, I think this could really hold up the line. Otherwise, anytime I'm craving a bombastic gyro, this is my go-to place! read more

One of my favorite Mediterranean Greek places when I am in the Arrowhead Peoria area I love the fresh bread I love the chicken kebab salads I love the steak kebab salads and I love the homemade green hot sauce.
