These are the best gyoza and steamed dumplings I've had , although I haven't been to the core in literally 20years, because it costs approximately 100$ to park, and gas up before u even get to your destination let alone the years taken off your life from 410/401/Gardner stress driving ! Gotta love gentrification! Lol, but seriously this is an amazing spot for btown where Indian and fast food are the only options really. So fresh and delicious. It's comparable to the famous dumpling place on Panda street in Vancouver, no ground up shrimp or chicken. It's chopped pieces that go into these little pockets of goodness! We ordered the following: Crispy Spicy Fish...perfection Veggie Dumplings...decent...according to my son. Crispy spicy chicken wings..tasty and good value. Crispy spicy tempura veggies...delicious but salty Cashew shrimp...very good but salty. Overall food is very good Portion size is very good Prices . Best Chinese food in Brampton. Placed an order for 13 people and we were all in agreement that we would be ordering from here again. Dumplings were awesome, Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken and General Tao were big crowd pleasers as was the squid and Tofu! The only downside was it's a bit on the expensive side. Dinner date night today and I decided to bring my partner here because I saw it under the "hot and new section." We purchased five different plates. First one was the crispy spicy chicken wings. We got the small size and it came with 7 pieces mixed with either legs and wings. I enjoyed the flavour because it had garlic and spice to it. And the garnishes were a good touch as there was extra thin sliced peppers to add more heat. The second item was pan seared pork dumplings. The pork seared dumplings was really good, tasted fresh and the portion of meat for the price was good. 6 pieces of pork dumplings for $6.95. Third plate was the coloured steamed shrimp dumpling. The coloured shrimp was $8.95 for 6 pieces. Our coloured wraps were green only. Was expecting the yellow and other colours.the shrimp was good! It's not minced shrimp but a whole shrimp. The sauce that was paired with the dumplings was really good. It tasted like soy with peanut sauce. The fourth dish we ordered was the orange chicken which to me tasted like a normal chicken dish with drenched orange sauce. Not a huge fan of it since I didn't taste the citrus of the orange. However, the chicken was well cooked, soft and actually chewable compared to other restaurants. Our last dish was the fresh pineapple chicken fried rice. The pineapple was amazing in the sense that it was soft and not hard. The chicken pieces was also decent in portion. I enjoyed the rice. However, it could use some kind of sauce to add more flavour. Maybe pineapple sauce? Also, the portion of the rice was a tad smaller than expected compared to what you would get in other asian restaurants. In the end, I would definitely return again. I enjoyed the food. Also, the service was great. The lady was pleasant and attentive. The parking is decent. Lots of space since the location of the restaurant is in a large big box plaza. read more

First time here was tonight. The food was great the service was awesome. The last working was super nice and friendly :). We had orange chicken (yum) veggie tempura, popcorn chicken, pineapple rice, pork dumpling, spring rolls. The service was quite fast. The food was delish. We will be back soon to try more. read more

The interior aesthetic is beautiful. The service was great and were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious, my coworker and ordered the shrimp shanghai noodles, veggie dumplings (color wrap) and the pan fried shrimp dumplings. The noodles were delicious, and very flavourful with lots of shrimp! The dumplings they even prepare you a sauce for them (I think soy sauce, vinegar and green onion) which is new for me, because usually the soy sauce and vinegar is on the side for you to help yourself (not to say there isn't soy sauce and vinegar on the side for you to add for yourself). The pan fried shrimp dumplings were great! The veggie dumplings weren't the best, and I really had hoped for a greater vegetarian option as my friend only eats halal. I think it would be great if they came out with a just shrimp dumpling option for a Halal friendly option! Overall a great experience. It was slightly pricey but delicious :) overall our meal was roughly $35 for two dumpling dishes and a noodle dish. read more

The restaurant was well decorated and servers were friendly. The pork dumpling and chicken wings were very flavourful and worth the try however my friends and I were not a big fan of their other dishes. The Shanghai noodles lacked a bit of seasoning and the portion was small. We got the wonton soup and egg drop soup and they were okay. If you ever visit, I recommend the pork dumplings! read more

First time going to Greenbites on June 6,2022. Ordered calamari and orange chicken. Both items were so over cooked that it was hard to chew. The supposed orange chicken was deep fried chicken pieces in sweet and sour sauce. There was no orange flavour in the orange chicken. The calamari was very salty. The dumplings are delicious and the tea pairs very well with the food. Be sure to try the fried chicken and as many dumpling variations as possible. The workers are very kind and friendly and helped us choose our order. My only complaint is that the prices are a little bit high for the average lunch crowd -- for two people splitting the bill, it came to around $27 each. So the only reason why I'm giving a 4* is because this was my first visit and yet to try everything on the menu. I came here a week ago just on a whim passing through Brampton running errands. I was immediately impressed by the decor when I walked in. Reminded me of modern tea houses in China. Had to try the dumplings, ordered pork and was sooo good...juices squirting out at very first bite and the dough had that nice pull/chew texture. Also tried the house chicken wings which were very tasty. The sesame salad was a nice flavour but overly dressed for my taste however some people like saucy salads which I'm sure would be just fine for those who do. Also ordered the shanghai noodles for kicks. Not greasy at all like most Chinese food places on this dish. The highlight was that hot tea was properly served in loose leaf brewed tea pot on top of a bamboo tray which strains the tea to a lower level for when heating the tiny teacup before the actual pour. Obviously had leftovers seeing as I ordered too much food for 1 person and still had half a pot of tea for which the lady (of the establishment/wife of chef) offered to transfer to a to go cup for me! Impressed! I will definitely be back to try other flavours of dumplings on the menu. :) read more

This is a great addition to the btown food scene. The dumplings were solid. The chicken dishes were my standouts. Get the wings! Its a pay before you eat kind of resto. If you like dumplings, Chinese food and a quaint place to eat, do yourself a favour and just come and try this place. Others have written a lot of good things about this new edition to the Brampton area which is so needed. Keep in mind - do not compare this to the dumpling houses in Markham area. Those are catered to the Chinese population so no decor and no service. This is a comfy small place with some dumpling selection and other more common Canadian style Chinese food but cooked by Chinese chefs. The food is authentic. Tea is good quality. The food and tea here is the best I have ever tasted in Canada. It is very authentic with excellent customer service, quality food and fast service for a great price. It's not your regular Chinese fast food restaurant where everything is smothered in oil and Chinese spices , it's a perfect balance of spices and cooked with just enough oil. The wings are a must have, they are deep fried, full of flavour and served on a bed of chopped jalapeño, onions, red peppers and much more. The tea also is a must have, it's very authentic and pure tea leaves served as if you are in China . The place is tastefully decorated and very clean. I went here for the first time last week after hearing about this place from a friend. This place did not disappoint! Not only was the decor pleasing and neat, the food was exceptionally delicious. We ordered the shrimp and pork dumplings (steamed) and as well as their chicken wings and vegetable tempura. I don't know what kind of batter and spices they use on their chicken and tempura, but it was addictive. It was the right amount of salt and spice. The dumplings had a good mouth feel, and the dough was steamed just right. The filling inside was flavourful and so juicy! I will definitely be back in the future to try other dishes. read more

Amazing dining experience. The staff was knowledgeable and very courteous. We tried the pork dumplings, chicken wings and two lunch specials (cashew chicken and chicken with black bean sauce). Our dumpling wrappers were upgraded to a spinach wrapper for free as it was the long weekend. But the highlight was definitely the filling; very generous filling which was juicy. The chicken wings were unique and were complimented will with the dragon sauce they served with it. The ambiance was also excellent. I had ordered 15 servings of spring rolls a day in advance. And when I arrived, it was not ready. Since I had time I did not make a fuss, but I could clearly see that they were a bit unhappy with their own service. But they made up for it by offering me a free veggie fried rice.
