    Green Chili Breakfast Burrito
    Aja H.

Was craving a breakfast burrito and this place was opened during the early hours I was wanting one. The inside was well kept and the staff were very nice. I got a green chili breakfast burrito. The flavor of the green chili was good. However, I'm a texture person and felt this burrito had a lot of softness. There wasn't a crisp element in it what so ever. I think if there were some type of peppers and onions, it would've took the burrito to the next level. I can't say that I'd be back but would highly recommend people give it a try!

Stopped by this gem early Saturday morning. I was looking for not just an ordinary breakfast burrito. I was looking for that NM green chili! I got the chorizo burrito with medium green chili. Omg. Amazing and hit the spot. The burrito is stuffed with chorizo, pinto beans, potato's, and chili. Everything inside worked perfectly. The only thing I wished it had was more chorizo. The staff was great! Clean tables. Burritos came out within 10 minutes. Both burritos were about $30 total. I'd come back again!

YUM!!! Really enjoyed my lunch at Green Chili Love. Really cool that they let you sample heat levels on the green chilis before you order. From Mild to Super hot. The Smashed Green Chili Burger and Green Chili Frys were outstanding. A+++ Rating

Owner! He's so friendly and welcoming

Was great to try something new so close to home. Met the owner and he was super kind and passionate. The ambiance is quaint and cozy and open for hanging out with friends. I came a couple times to try out different foods. I'm vegetarian now so was easy to navigate. Green chile homemade salsa was nice and tangy, loved the eggs, potatoes and cheese tacos not corn and flour and the burros. With the welcoming vibes I'll be back over and over again! Come decide for yourself. I believe they have a Food truck as well so ASK about it when you go there!

Customer service is awesome, the ambiance is inviting, the food is delicious. Amazing light flavors! I was expecting something different With the texture of the eggs and potatoes in the bowl. Definitely different from the burrito. Will I come back again? Of course. I need to try more.

Cute little restaurant with a hefty selection of food items. Extremely friendly and helpful service. Creative menu items will entice me back again in the near future to try more. Had the Mexican Hamburger Handheld with a side of fries and guacamole. The burger was so unbelievably juicy, tasty, and filling. Im stuffed now-- food coma time!

Supposed to be a green chili pork breakfast burrito. Where is the pork? It had great flavor, but don't feel like I got what I paid for.

He was incredibly kind and attentive, especially with my friend who is deaf, making sure we always had water, napkins, and plenty of chips. The margarita flight is always a must for me, so I had to order one for my friend since it was her first visit. I told her that even though neither of us are into spicy margaritas, I knew she'd love it and I was right! Every margarita was delicious. I also ordered the lavender lemonade, which was refreshing and just as good. Ghost Ranch never seems to miss when it comes to drinks. Potato tacos! Another must have My friend ordered the Aztec Cake and insisted I'd regret not getting it. She was absolutely right. It was bomb and Torrance offered us a side of chips .TY. I ordered the short rib. It was flavorful, tender, and filling, with lots of garlic and savory flavor. I'm not sure if short rib is just not my thing, but it didn't wow me the way the Aztec Cake did. I warmed it up later and it was delicious a second time so no complaints. Excellent service, delicious drinks, and a fun way to spend the Fourth. We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment. We arrived about an hour before closing and sat down as we normally do. While I was walking to the restroom, which is located past the kitchen area, I heard a server/bartender we've seen several times before ask the cook, in an obviously annoyed tone, if two people had just arrived. When he said yes, she responded, "Who the fuck!?" The cook then looked directly at me. At that point, I honestly felt extremely uncomfortable and wanted to leave. We decided to stay since my boyfriend had already ordered a beer, but the experience immediately felt different. We felt like our presence was an inconvenience simply because we came in an hour before closing. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it. We ordered the beef skewers and a burger. The skewers were okay, but they were not nearly as good as we remembered them being. The burger, however, arrived completely cold. What makes this especially disappointing is that we used to really enjoy coming here. We understand that being close to closing time can be frustrating for a restaurant, but customers should still feel welcomed, especially when they are coming in well before closing and have supported the restaurant in the past. We really hope this was just a bad night, because we genuinely used to love coming here. But after this experience, we unfortunately left feeling very disappointed.

When you enter, the counter you order at is directly in front of you. They have digital menu boards to the right and a self-serve soda fountain to the left. You order at the counter. They give you a number and they bring it to your seat. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The seating area inside the restaurant has about five tables. Seating outside has a few round picnic style tables with umbrellas. We ordered one Machaca burrito and one Carne Asada burrito. I used to love the Machaca at this restaurant. It was always full of tomatoes and onions, peppers and shredded meat, but on today's visit, I felt it was lacking all of the above. I will say the meat was seasoned well, but there wasn't much inside my burrito. Please see photos below. The Carne Asada burrito was a little bit larger. It consisted of pico, guacamole, beans, cheese, and grilled steak. The steak had a nice char on it. We each ordered a side of green chili. It was decent, but definitely did not have that New Mexican Hatch green chili flavor that I was searching for. I will say I do enjoy their chips and salsa. The salsa is chunky and a bit watery, but definitely has good flavor.

Blanco seemed like it would be a good choice, however I enjoyed it more than I anticipated. Sitting at the bar, service was pretty good. The bartenders were busy making drinks at times, but overall were attentive. The queso was delicious! We started with the appetizer sized serving and the chips were very good with a thick texture and good crunch. We saved some of the queso, intending to use it for dipping with the mixed grill fajitas we split. I will put that queso on anything, it's tasty! On the mixed grill fajitas platter, the carne asada was the item we enjoyed the least. The shrimp was definitely my favorite. Perfectly juicy and grilled, and had a great sauce over the top, it's labeled as spicy but I didn't find it to be too spicy, it just had a good flavor. The chicken was very juicy and then the steak was okay. I would definitely come back to try the short rib tacos, as other reviewers said were pretty tasty. Blanco reminded me of yummy Tex-Mex restaurants I've had in Texas, although its description is Sonoran Mexican food. Maybe it depends on the dish ordered. Either way, both are delicious food styles. And my rating reflected my overall enjoyment of the green chili queso, fresh chips & salsa, and juicy shrimp. I think the difference between 4-5 stars for me, comes down to having a nice ambiance, attentive service, and some items standing out. My cocktail was decent, however I wouldn't order that particular margarita again, I don't love mescal but I keep trying drinks that have it because I do like cocktails that have a note of the mescal flavor not the predominant taste. I did check with the bartenders before I ordered it and let them know, they said it's mild mescal taste, but I think it was pretty strong. We had missed happy hour by coming in 530pm, it ends at 5pm. I'd like to come back next time for HH. And thank goodness they are smart enough to provide free 2 hour parking in the Novus garage close by . That makes so much sense for customers. Some reviewers said the restaurant doesn't have any parking options besides valet. That isn't correct, just park at the appropriate garage and ask the staff for a validation ticket to scan when leaving.

I split time between Phoenix and Rhode Island, so every time I'm back here, this place ends up on the list. This trip, I brought the extended family along, first timers across the board. No hesitation. They got it immediately. We always start with the Machaca pizza. That's non-negotiable. It comes out hot, loaded with flavor, and just enough heat to wake you up without knocking you over. It sets the tone. You know exactly what kind of meal you're about to have. Last night I went with the Relleno Dinner with the garlic pulled pork, and it was ridiculous in the best way. Rich, smoky, layered with flavor, and yes, it brings heat. Not gimmicky heat. Not "let's see how spicy we can make this" heat. Real, intentional, built-into-the-dish kind of heat. The kind that actually belongs there. And that brings me to the complaints I keep seeing. "It's too hot." Come on. Their slogan is literally "Some Like It Hot." That's the whole point. You don't walk into a place like this expecting mild salsa and a side of bottled hot sauce. This is not that. This is bold, unapologetic, New Mexican-style cooking that doesn't water itself down for anyone. If you want toned-down, there are a hundred other places in Phoenix happy to oblige. Service has always been on point. Friendly, efficient, and comfortable. Not stiff, not rehearsed. Just people who know what they're doing and keep things moving without making it feel rushed. What I respect most is the consistency. I've worked my way through most of the menu over the years, and I've never walked out disappointed. Not once. That's rare. The place has a personality, and it doesn't bend. It knows exactly what it is, and it executes it every single time. I highly recommend it. And if history holds, I'll probably be back within the week.
