I called Green Clean at the last minute for a Saturday cleaning. They were very nice and able to squeeze me in. When the ladies ended up going to my billing address instead of my home address, I got a phone call from the company explaining the mistake and they were on their way. I appreciated the call and made me feel better about the company and management said they gave them the wrong address and that they just didn't let the ladies show up late. I got the DETOX clean and didn't think it would actually take 4 hours and I ended up running late for an appointment. I had to kick the ladies out after only 3 hours of cleaning but they were mostly done and once I realized I had made a mistake calculating my time, they hurried and tried to get it all done before I left. I would have let them stay at the house alone but I have two dogs and did not want to leave them alone with new people. We have been using Green Clean since we relocated to LA, six months ago. In that time, Green Clean has been a great business to work with. Certainly, their commitment to Eco-Friendly products were the draw, but their great service has kept us loyal customers. my schedule doesn't allow me to do even the most basic tasks like clean my dishes or fold my laundry, so it's a great relief to have the Green Clean team come out to my home every two weeks to help me out. it's wonderful to come home after a long day at work to a sparkling clean home with a wonderful citrus aroma (not a harsh bleachy/chemical type smell). i started with Green Clean about 6 months ago or so, and I've been a satisfied customer. My first service was the DETOX which was worth every penny; super thorough cleaning in all the nooks and crannies that i and previous tenants at my home neglected over the years. i also scheduled an energy cleanse for my home and had a great experience with Lisa in clearing out old baggage (figurative) and stale/stagnant energy in certain rooms in my home. there was a noticeable difference afterwards, and my home feels lighter and more welcoming after that service. After moving in to our new place, my husband and I needed our place tidied up and deep cleaned. I was looking for a company that cleans eco - friendly products and could be flexible with timing of the service appointment. Lisa made sure there was no miscommunication regarding the services I was booking - she replies back to all of your e-mails and she gave me a call a few days before the service. The crew of two ladies called me the morning of the appointment to let me know they were on their way, and based on navigation they might be 10 minutes late. In fact they arrived 10 minutes early. I was pretty disappointed with my service. I paid 290$ for 4 hours of 'cleaning service'. I have a one bedroom apartment and the only visible cleaning done was the floors. I scheduled Green Clean for the Detox Cleaning service. It was fairly easy to set up and the two ladies showed up exactly on time. I was having some work done in my condo and it was much more intense/messy than I thought it would be, so we had to be creative with what they were going to clean and what they should probably skip, like dusting. I had them clean the kitchen, both bathrooms the living/dining room. They were very thorough and did a nice job. I have already scheduled them again to finish what they weren't able to do initially because of the work being done while they were there. I expect they will do a good job and, if so, I plan on scheduling them to do weekly (or bi-weekly) maintenance. So glad I found this company, as finding a good cleaning service is very tough. My husband and I have been discussing getting some housecleaning help, but I was always hesitant because I don't use eco-unfriendly products in my house, and I didn't want anyone else to either. A quick Google search (when I finally put in the effort) found Green Clean LA. The process for a quote was quick and painless, I did the detox service to see if we'd be happy enough to move forward with maintenance visits and was very happy with my choice. Two very pleasant women showed up a little early and called to ask if they could start early, I was anxious to start and happy they were not only on time, but early!! (almost unheard of today) We did a walk-through of what I wanted done and they got to work. I have 3 cats and the crew was very conscious of them and able to complete my back room so that I could move them from the front. The vacuum was much more quiet than my own, which I think the cats appreciated. When they thought the might go over the time we had scheduled they asked if I'd like them to finish the cleaning or wrap up, I chose to have them finish. I attempted to schedule a consultation with Green Clean when the service I had been using for over 8 years stopped servicing my area. After seeing the great yelp reviews they have, I was hopeful that I found a good replacement for the other company. However, I was highly disappointed with their lack of customer service. I have never hired any service professional without meeting with them first and getting a quote specific to my home (even when I moved homes, my old service came and gave me an updated quote for the new location). As I am typically unable to be home when they would be cleaning, I wanted to meet them before handing over my keys, and as the price range they quoted was quite large (over $100 difference between the low and high numbers) I wanted them to look at my home and give me a more accurate quote (especially since they didn't seem to be able to get it straight how many bedrooms and bathrooms I have.. every email had a different number, even after I corrected them!), and I was told they 'don't do that' and I'd have to give them my credit card information before they would proceed. I told them that if I decided to actually hire them, I would of course give them payment information, but I am not in the habit of handing over credit card information and keys to a total stranger, giving them unrestricted access to my home and money. I have NEVER had a service professional refuse to meet with me before I hire them. That, plus the fact that I couldn't find anywhere on their website information as to whether they are licensed and bonded, is a huge red flag. Maybe they are so in demand and amazing that they don't need my business, but the fact that their only comment when I raised concerns about wanting to meet with them before officially hiring them was that they 'have been in business 8 years' doesn't really address my concerns. read more

Contacted this business which gave a rather expensive quote for an initial cleaning and subsequent cleanings. Decided to go with them and scheduled appointment for which they never showed, called, emailed nor contacted us in any way. We left numerous messages both by phone and email all of which were unreturned. They have a policy where if you cancel less than 24 hours before or are not available to let them in, you are charged a penalty fee. When they fail to show, there is no consequence to them. If you are looking for a small business that does a big job Green Clean is it. I have used Green Clean several times for Bi-Monthly cleanings and have never been disappointed. When I call in to make an appointment I always reach a very friendly representative or receive a return call back within that day. The staff is always friendly and well mannered. I absolutely love the products that they use. When they leave my home it has this soft lavender smell to it and not to mention the attention to detail they have. They even FOLD LAUNDRY!!! A plus for me since I HATE folding mines. Not to mention they are Eco-Friendly. Nothing they use is toxic and smells great! No bleach smell when I come home and no having to open all the windows and doors to vent the house. Another thing that keeps me with this company is trust. I know that if I have to leave them in my home to clean that everything with be in its place and I don't have to worry about theft. This is a great service. They were very conscientious and VERY thorough. They're obviously extremely good at cleaning--everything was spotless when they were done. I had the detox cleaning, and was amazed by the difference--having the areas under furniture finally be dust and dirt-free is wonderful. Also, I was happy with how easy the whole experience was.
